Wish the gas grill was working. We had to cook inside the whole time. Then realized the dishwasher wasn’t working, but the property made that right with a 10% refund. Otherwise, our stay was absolutely amazing. I’d definitely stay again! Nice home right on the beach!!

Lots of room, perfect ocean beach

We enjoyed this house’s ample comfortable space on the pristine ocean beach in a quiet neighborhood. The property was clean and accommodations and equipped as advertised.

Brought the children and grandchildren for Spring break vacation. We loved the house and the access to the beach. Very roomy. The house does need a deep cleaning, i.e., base moulding, cabinet faces, doors and certain areas dusted. The bed in the master bedroom is definitely too tall for the elderly. My husband had a hard time getting in and out. But, overall we would love to rent again! Thanks for the memories we made!

The house was great! Beautiful gulf view and the deck was perfect for enjoying the view and sunsets. We had a group of 3 families. The only downside was they only issue 2 passes for the gated community entry. This was a pain when we did different things outside the house. We had to go open up gate for the group that did not have a gate card. The only other suggestion would be an additional love seat instead of the bench in the living room as there was not enough comfortable seating for 8 people in living room.Overall this is a great place to stay. Kitchen well furnished. The guys surf fished, the beach was clean and not crowded.

Perfect For Large Family!!!

We were there for my daughter’s wedding and we all stayed here so were could all be together!!! The wedding party stayed here as well! We were all very comfortable and there was plenty of space!!! Everything was just as it was in the pictures!!! Very large kitchen, large deck spaces and the perfect beach view and access!!! We even saw dolphins!!!

The layout of the house is great for a large family! The home itself definitely could use some work with a lot of updates needed. Overall we could over look those things, but we were told that a cleaning service was coming before we arrived and I’m not sure that was true. There was sand in the made beds which makes you think maybe the sheets weren’t washed properly. Over half of the bath towels were under sinks wet still and the floors and rugs had dirt and sand on them when we arrived. Also, dust was covering majority of “plants”, shelves, drawers, and counters. We ended up cleaning the house before we unpacked which is not an ideal way to start a vacation. Our number one positive was the beach and how private it was. We love dauphin island but probably won’t rent this particular home again due to condition.

Space was great and location/access to the beach was perfect. Cleaning before arrival could stand some improvement, but not bad. Had to spray for ants (there was ant spray already in the pantry). A/C in one of the downstairs rooms would not come on. Notified property management on Saturday evening when we arrived. Notified them every day and received the same response, “we have called the A/C repair man and will let you know”. Finally on Wednesday on our 5th day there I drove down to their office and spoke to a maintenance man. Later Wednesday morning they brought us a portable A/C unit for that room and we never heard from them again. When we left Saturday morning there still had not been any additional follow up and we never saw a repair man. We had a great time, location is great, house is spacious, just wish property management would have more responsive and proactive.
