A/C didn’t work and portable fans were filthy. patio slider and shutters did not operate smoothly. freezer only opened halfway (potentially internal arm extensions were frozen). Location and rooftop breeze was the only saving grace.

Awesome place to stay!

My entire family and friends including myself really enjoyed this property. Close to beach, shops and restaurants. Plenty of room and the rooftop was amazing! Would stay here again for sure!

Great Beach house for family

What a great location!! We were able to walk almost everywhere. We loved the rooftop deck and the closeness to the beach and restaurants. Very clean and a great space to enjoy vacation.

Overall it was a good value for the amount of space. As noted, it was clean, but the place could use some updating, it is a bit worn down, which is not really reflected in the pictures. Location is great, rooftop area was nice to have, furniture very worn. Very sparse on extras like bath towels, no cooking basics like oil, etc. We did have some confusion with the payment and checkin process that was figured out with a phone call, but was frustrating due to new city ordinances not noted in the notes.

Pros - Entrance & check-in was smooth & easy. Plenty of toilet paper & kitchen garbage bags. Clean sheets and one white bath & hand towel & wash cloth provided for every guest. No air conditioning but plenty of fans. The fans were very dirty however and needed to be cleaned.Cons - The upper balcony is nice but the railing is not adequate for children's safety. Too large a space and child could easily fall through. The shower head in the master bathroom is about 5 feet above ground. Needed to kneel or bend way over to wash your hair. The gas oven not working well. Turns off unexpectedly mid cycle. Won't heat up at all if temperature is set above 350 degrees. Microwave above the stove broken but another microwave was provided on the counter. That one shorts out and the door locks after every use. To get the door to open, you need to unplug it, and it resets itself and will work again.

Enjoyed our stay, weather not so much. Apparently we hit a very wet and chilly weather system but it was still a nice visit.

Family beach get away

Property is a little dingy in spots. Comfortable beds and bedrooms. The only condiment in the kitchen was pepper. Loved the rooftop deck but not much of a beach view.

Overall, the saying is, 'you get what you pay for'. I realize that beach front propeprty comes with a premium price tag and if you don't have the deep pockets, you try and find something accomidating. The location was great and for a group of 8, it was fine for a my college daughter's birthday weekend. But, a little paint also goes a long way and property management isn't that difficult - especially coming from someone who is in it - ie: ME!! My husband and I do this for a living, a very good living. I didn't do the 'white glove' treatment on the property but this one needs a lot of love. It did the job for what we needed for the weekend but I would honestly lose a weekend of revenue, roll up the sleeves, get out the paint can and give your future guests the home-away-from-home they would want: Hide the TV wires. Polish the floors. Fix the remotes so they work. Give coffee (as a perk - that costs nothing! As well as shampoo/conditioner that is more than a 1oz squeeze from a tiny little bottle! People flying in don't have that and expect the bare minimum for a 2-night stay.). Dust the air vents. Clean the fans. Repair the window screens that are all torn. For me, the home was just dirty! Thank you for hosting us and thank you for allowing me to give you some sound, honest feedback for your future guests.

Disneyland Trip

Very happy with stay, location was great and unit was described accurately. Dryer took a few hours to dry a load of laundry which delayed us in some activities. Kitchen could use a little TLC with wiping/cleaning of cabinets and replacing loose knobs on cabinets.

They are helpful with our questions and friendly to work with. We would like to get back to our original location on the board walk so hopefully this will work for next summer

Beach Home

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Everything was great! The staff was very helpful and professional. The house was just a few blocks away from the beach and the grocery store. The only thing is to be sure to bring extra blankets and towels they only supply the first day or you could wash them. There is a washer and dryer on site. I would definitely rent with them again.

Nice place

The place is nice! Then reason for bad review is, the bedding was terrible. We got one towel a piece for 7 people. They don’t supply any amenities that a hotel does. Soap, toilet paper, paper towels etc. I couldn’t get a hold of anyone over the weekend to discuss the other persons car in the middle of a 2 car garage!

Awesome beach house

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house was a great house. It was bigger than what we had expected. It's walking distance from the beach and the stores which was perfect for a family getaway. The only problem we had was some of the furniture need to be updated as well as the bed in the master bedroom since it was broken on one side. The property management company was very professional and friendly. I would definitely use them again as well as rent this property.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall good experience, about 1.5 blocks from the beach. During our stay, the toilet overflowed, but property management was quick to respond and get a plumber over to the property. Screen to the patio also did not have a lock so was hard to leave the sliding door open with young kids. Other than these two things overall experience was good.

Family gathering

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great stay. The kitchen is amazing and was equipped with everything we needed. Great short walk to the beach allowed all family members to come and go as needed. The master bathroom is a bit small, but had everything we needed. A few of the lounge chairs were broken on the roof top deck, and the BBQ is old. We couldn't figure out the remotes, but when we called they sent someone right away to help sort it out. Overall we had a wonderful stay!! We will definitely come again!!

The house was fine, but there were 2 significant problems:1. No hot water for one day2. More importantly, it rained and there were leaks in 2 bedrooms getting the beds wet. While they did come out right away and look at it, they didn’t really do anything. One guest had to leave because there was no bed to sleep in. While the management company did reply quickly, there was no follow up to see how we were doing. We think they fixed the hot water problem, but there was never a message letting us know. It just started working. Overall a bad experience. We feel we deserve some compensation for the wet beds.

Family Get Together

Large square footage with 4 good sized bedrooms. Top deck afforded great views and refreshing breezes. Location was excellent close to the beach and grocery store. Could not ask for better communication from Burr-White. Simply outstanding. The elephants in the room are lack of air conditioning. Even with open windows, fans, and low temps the house never cooled off which only got worse when cooking. Lastly parking in the area is terrible and it is tough getting in and out of garage. All in all we had a great visit and would come back.

Ok

Hey it was our first time in California and wasn’t as expected. We enjoyed our stay just being in California but wasn’t aware of the parking, no air in the unit, and also the toilet handle wasn’t working properly. We also had issues with the dryer not working correctly and wasn’t sure if it was ok to use our neighbors. The last night was too hot to stay so went to a family member that lived an hour away just to sleep under some air.

So/so

The place was cute and the staff seemed kind. However, the house was incredibly dusty. The carpet in the bedrooms had a layer of dust that kinda grossed me and my friends out. It certainly does not seem like the place gets cleaned very often or very well. We were also pretty disappointed in the linens situation. We had to dress the beds ourselves upon arrival with sheets and pillow cases and we all only got one towel and one wash rag for showering for the 4 days we were there. The rooftop is cool as well, however it was ALWAYS soaked. Furniture, tables and the ground was wet. It never rained so maybe it was condensation or mist from the breeze over the water but we barely got to enjoy it because of how wet it always was. So slightly disappointing. As far as location, the place is great and the size of the place was perfect for us 8.
