A Lobster Lookout - Oregon Beach Vacations

A Lobster Lookout is a three-bedroom, three-bath vacation home located in the northwest area of Lincoln City near the Chinook Winds Casino and Golf Resort. Golf, gambling, food, and music are available at the casino, which equals fun for the whole family. A short drive down Highway 101 will offer some great antique and tourist shopping. For more modern shopping, visit the Lincoln City Outlets. There are several great restaurants in town, including The Pig and Pancake, Maxwell's at the Coast, and HWY 101 Burger. Beach access is approximately three blocks away. This three-story home offers enough privacy for everyone in your party. Entering the home on ground level, you will find one room with a king bed, complete with a baby crib and a full bathroom with a separate water closet. The laundry room is located on the ground floor, along with a two-car garage for guest use. Walking up to the second floor, you will find the great room, which includes the kitchen, dining room, and living room with a 42-inch flat panel TV on the mantel of the gas fireplace. Open the sliding glass door, and you will find a large deck with furniture available for use during the summer months. This home offers satellite TV, a DVD player, and a DVR so you can keep up-to-date on all your favorite shows while on vacation. The dining room table seats ten, and the kitchen has an island bar for extra space. The kitchen is large enough to prepare both big and small meals for your family gatherings. The main level also features a bedroom with a king bed with a private deck and a full guest bathroom. The third floor is a great place for the kids to stay while vacationing here: it offers two twin top bunks with queen beds underneath, log-style bunk beds, satellite TV with DVD player, swivel chairs and bean bag chairs, and a large garden tub with a walk-in shower. Beach Access: Going to NW Mast, turn left onto Mast Place, less than 1/2 a block, turn left onto NW 21st St at the end of the road, there is a small parking area with close to 100 steps to the sand.

Parking is available for up to 4 vehicles at this home, 2 in the garage and 2 in the driveway. Unfortunately, street parking is not available, and boats, trailers, and RVs are not permitted.

Family beach trip

Stayed here for a short family beach trip. Great set up for lots of people. We appreciated the crib in the downstairs bedroom. Nice place we will probably stay here again.

Great Beach House Experience

We had a great time at the lobster lookout house. Check in process was super easy and we checked into a very clean house. The three full bathrooms was a major plus and the location was perfect for us. We would stay again for sure.

Yealry trip

Great place overall. Accommodation is great for our total group. We like the upstairs how its setup for the kids. Second year in a row we have been here. Only issue was with the kitchen. There were some pots/pans and cooking supplies looked in bad shape and the stovetop does have some issues with, and hopefully that can be taken care of.

Enjoyable

I rented this home to spend time with my daughter and teenage grandchildren. It had everything we needed plus games, and a easy walk to the beach and stores! We hand an enjoyable time and would rent it again! Quiet and easy!

Fantastic place for a steal of a deal price!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great place for the whole crew! We loved the location! Great Place! With some minor set backs

It was wonderful place to enjoy time with friends. There were a couple things that could’ve been improved though. I was told by all of my friends that one of the couch cushions smelled like pee. Might need to make sure they are thoroughly cleaned. Also the beds were quite stiff and uncomfortable.

The house was clean, well stocked and great for a large group.

Overall we had a great experience with this property. There was only 2 minor issues. The house stays at a very warm temperature even with the air on it ran about 75ﾟ in the house and the garbage can was full upon arrival so no room for us to put things in but I would stay here again it was a great space and very clean. The property manager was very kind and professional to work with.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was a great fit for a girls getaway. It fit 9 very comfortably. I would say they need to leave more than one extra roll of toilet paper and garbage bag. Change the Wi-Fi network name to lobster lookout and an easier password and add this info to your check in list. The beach is close but you have to be able to walk down and up a lot of stairs. We had a great time and would visit again.

Overall, enjoyed our stay.

The floor plan was great for our group of 5 - 3 adult & 2 kids. The 2 younger kids & their mom were very comfortable upstairs in the bunk beds, full bathroom with a stand alone shower, oversized bathtub, fuzzball table, & TV. The main living area accommodated us very nicely & it was nice being able to park 2 vehicles in the garage. The house keeping person could use some coaching. The house overall was not real clean - the beautiful hardwood floors had several dirty spots, we found a few basic "trash" items throughout, there were kitchen towels but no dish clothes, & no extra kitchen garbage can liners. Lucky for us since we've been vacationing in rentals for literally decades, we come with a plastic tote filled with anything & everything we've needed, & did need.

Awesome Family Time Together At The Coast

Lovely home for ten of us coming from several locations, some from Michigan, to spend time together at the beautiful Oregon coast. The house was very comfortable and the kitchen well stocked. The weather was beautiful and we saw an owl in a neighboring tree while relaxing on the deck. The only downside was that the washing machine did not work, apparently waiting for parts. Didn't affect our stay much, but we would have used had it been in working order. Seems like that should have been communicated. Also, the gas grill tank was empty but after a phone call, staff came with a replacement in time for our dinner plans. Also, the TV was hard to figure out, even for our techy guests. But overall, a nice place and we are grateful for our time together!

Lovin’ Lobster Lookout

This was truly a home away from home for our family. We originally had reserved several campsites at Beverly Beach but the park cancelled them, due to renovations, a month before our expected arrival. I figured it would be impossible to get a place big enough for our family of 9 at such short notice but A Lobster Lookout was available. The location is great… 3 blocks away from beach access ( be forewarned that you need to go down 100 steps to get to the beach… and then back up again). A Grocery Outlet, Espresso Shack, bakery, fresh seafood market, and movie theater are all in walking distance. The house itself was well- maintained and clean with three bedrooms and three bathrooms spread out on three levels which gave privacy to everyone. My son, daughter-in-law and granddaughters especially loved staying in the bunk bed room on the upper level because they had it all to themselves. The only complaint they had was that the foosball table shown in the pictures does not have any balls, so they couldn’t play…. A minor complaint indeed. So, great place, mostly quiet neighborhood ( there was some kind of renovating going on at a house down the hill but only during the day and not too loud) , great location. We would stay again.

Great place! Would mostly recommend.

We really liked this house, with a few exceptions. We got there very late after a 13 hour drive. When we walked into the kitchen, it smelled horrible. The next morning we figured out that someone had put like clams in the disposal and made it stop working. Luckily, after we called, they came pretty quickly and fixed it. That should have been caught during cleaning, especially with how strong the odor was. Also, it seemed like they just quickly cleaned in between guests, not doing a very good job. The floors were pretty dirty still and really needed mopped. Overall, the house was nice. I wish that the big bathroom was off of one of the adult rooms, instead of the kids. It is hard to tell from the listing how the bathrooms are setup. Also, when we got there around 3:00 am, tired and exhausted, the top bunk beds weren't made at all. The sheets and stuff were just sitting folded on them. So I had to put the sheets on and make the beds up, which was not very easy because the mattress fits very tightly in the frame. One of my big complaints is that I was really looking forward to the "Ocean View", but you couldn't see anything. I believe you used to be able to, but now the trees are too tall and there is no view. That should be changed on the listing. All in all, there are just a few things that could be fixed to make this place really nice. Updated comforters, better cleaning, fix listing. Great location, plenty of space, decks were a plus. Had a nice time and would stay again.

Lobster Lookout

Great house in a great location. Needs some repairs: master bath nozzles, stove nobs were inaccurate, something sharp on top stair on the last set of stairs that got two of the kids’ heels, screen door has a hole in it. As for easy fixes, we had no trash bags or kitchen towels, the door code was inaccurate and we had to use the “emergency key” all weekend because the maintenance man told us he couldn’t give us the code if we weren’t provided it. Pros: lots of towels and plenty of extra bedding, smart tvs we’re a great bonus, plenty of dishwasher tabs and toliet paper. The beds were super comfy, lots of movies & games. We would definitely stay here again!

Coast getaway

Mostly a great place to stay. However, the housekeeping team failed to put extra toilet tissue in 2 of the 3 bathrooms. We called about it the morning after we arrived but never received it. Had to go buy our own! Also coffee pot didn't work but was replaced after we called about it. Only two of the three bbq burners work. The place is starting to show some wear and tear (l.r. sofas) and could use a few upgrades but all in all we were pretty satisfied.

Loved Lobster Lookout!

The house was beautiful and comfortable. Plenty of space for our group of 10. The neighborhood was nice and just a short walk to the beach. We would definitely stay there again in the future!
