Welcome to Wine and Pines Cabin, a two-bedroom, two-bathroom vacation rental log home with a loft in Ruidoso, New Mexico. Sleeping up to six guests, this charming mountain retreat offers the perfect balance of comfort, privacy and convenience. Tucked among towering ponderosa pines, pinon and juniper trees, Wine and Pines Cabin is an inviting escape for travelers seeking fresh mountain air, scenic surroundings and easy access to year-round adventure.

The moment you arrive, you'll be drawn to the expansive wraparound covered decks that invite you to slow down and savor the peaceful forest setting. Spend your mornings sipping coffee in one of the hand-carved wooden rockers while watching deer wander through the trees. After a day of exploring, soak beneath the stars in the private hot tub or gather around the fireplace for a cozy evening indoors. This vacation rental cabin in Ruidoso, New Mexico is designed for relaxation in every season.

Inside, Wine and Pines Cabin features a spacious open floor plan with warm log-home character and comfortable furnishings throughout. The living area centers around a stunning rock fireplace and includes plush seating perfect for conversation, movie nights or simply unwinding. The well-equipped kitchen offers ample prep space and modern appliances, while the dining table comfortably seats six. Both bedrooms are conveniently located on the main level, including a king primary suite with a private bathroom. A loft with two twin beds provides additional sleeping space and adds to the cabin's inviting mountain-lodge atmosphere.

Wine and Pines Cabin places you close to some of Ruidoso's most popular attractions. The turnoff to Ski Apache is less than five minutes away, making winter adventures easy to access. Downtown Ruidoso's shopping, dining, galleries and entertainment are only about 10 minutes from the property, while hiking, wildlife viewing and outdoor recreation can be found in every direction.

My husband and I stayed a couple of days. The home is located in a quiet, picturesque area. The house not only met, but exceeded our expectations. The fireplace added the extra touch of warmth.

Perfect cabin for the two of us. We were in need of a relaxing getaway and this place didn’t disappoint. Didn’t get in hot tub because I had a cold during my stay. Sad about that. Hope to come back again!

We really enjoyed our stay the property was nice, clean and pretty relaxing. I think our kids would have loved it just as much if they had came with us. We would definitely stay here again

Great property. A ton of room for family of 3. Could definitely even fit in a few more people. Nice kitchen. Back deck was Great. Would 100% recommend and stay again

Perfect place to stay

Comfort and convenience

We really enjoyed this property! It is in a great location yet still feels secluded by the way that the house sits behind the trees. Very quiet neighborhood, great for kids. Deer often visited the property.

Would stay here again

This was a very nice, well appointed home. The space and layout was perfect for us, our two kids and my parents. A main draw was NO STAIRS to enter, and two nice recliners for older parents to enjoy. The kids loved the hot tub, which had a beautiful mountain sunset view. Also, the management company was very easy to work with!

Mountain getaway

Overall it was great the place was beautiful. We had deer visit the first day and a family of raccoons that night. My only complaint was check in took about 20 minute because they gave me tne wrong door code and couldn't find the right one but after that it was the perfect stay! I love that their were gate on both sides of the porch so my little one couldn't get out.

Lovely cabin

We really enjoyed the cabin. Great location and views!! Loved the deck and rocking chairs. Loved the hot tub. Few downsides were ants in the bathroom, a few lamp switches were broken, the bed was comfortable but needs deep mattress sheets as the current fitted sheet slides off easily. But overall, it was a great stay!!!

The stay was horrible. The sink was leaking and one of my family members slipped, we had to keep mopping like 5 times. No one did anything. Maintenance came to fix it and left. No return call was provided and there was no dish soap, the dinning table chair was broken and held up with tape.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Roomy and comfortable. We spent three days there and really like this place. Good for a family with kids, too.

Fabulous Stay

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Beautiful area and home

The management never actually responded to my question that was sent on the VRBO app before my arrival which made it to where I had to change my plans for the trip. However when we got there it was a beautiful area, a beautiful home. Would recommend for a small family vacation 😊👌🏻

Great Place

Visited for a long weekend with another couple and we thoroughly enjoyed the house. The views were beautiful (better than the VRBO pics, i think). Beds were comfortable and kitchen had everything we needed to cook breakfasts and dinners. Hot tub was fabulous (wouldn't recommend for more than 4 people though). My only complaint is that the house was not stocked with tissues or humifiers; the NM air is pretty dry for folks from more humid areas and it was a little surprising to not have the bare essentials to deal with that.

Beautiful home and area

Great week. Only problem was trying to stream on TV - it requires a ROKU 4 digit code from owners and management co did not have it so we could not use Netflix or other streaming platforms. We finally just used our phone Netflix app and mirrored it to tv. Great location.
