HOME TO KICKING HORSE MOUNTAIN RESORT & BOO (our Grizzly bear)!

Enjoy a BRIGHT & SPACIOUS WALKOUT BASEMENT only 5KMS SOUTH OF GOLDEN with a new luxury hot tub!

Emerge yourself in all that Golden has to offer YEAR ROUND. Epic scenery, breathtaking views of the Rocky Mountains & some of the best mountain biking, skiing & snowmobiling trails. Just minutes to rafting & the Columbia River, Golden Skybridge & Zipline.

Drive & enjoy the beauty of 3 of Canada’s National Parks: Yoho, Banff & Glacier. Our house is situated on a corner lot in the quiet neighborhood of Habart with undeniable stunning views of the Rocky Mountains, Purcell Mountains and the Columbia River.

Enjoy a BBQ on the best of days, take a soak in a new luxury hot tub and also enjoy our fire pit as well that is fully operational when accessible as long as there isn't a fire ban.

We have lots of space in our car port if you choose to bring your bikes and take advantage of our many biking trails.

We also have space for a sled/quad/side by side trailer for those who want to cruise through our back 40! Please ask for more info on trails! It's soo much fun!

We are located 15 minutes away from a well-groomed 18-hole Golden Golf course which has a putting green and driving range available. We also have disc golf and mini golf for those who enjoy the other varieties of golf.

We are 25 minutes away from our popular Kicking Horse Mountain Resort where you will enjoy downhill skiing, Nordic skiing & snowshoeing in the winters as well as a large variety of hiking & biking trails within a short drive in the Summer. Come visit our local grizzly bear Boo too :)

This is a wonderful vacation home! Beautiful location, very kind and helpful host, and everything you need to be comfortable during your stay. The hot tub was also a big plus to soak in after a day of adventuring. House was clean and well-cared for. I would definitely love to stay here again!

Excellent communication with the hosts. They even mailed us some items we left behind! Golden is a great area to stay away from the hustle and bustle from banff and canmore. Super clean and stocked with some basic kitchen supplies. The hot tub was very clean and over looked some great mountain scenery. Even saw a few bears in the neighborhood- Bonus! This was a wonderful base for visiting the Banff/Yoho area.

Great place to stay that was out of the busy area, but still very close to amenities. The view from the hot tub was pretty spectacular. The house had more than everything we needed, and Tracy easy to communicate with.

Well stocked kitchen. Responsive host. Comfortable accommodations, including a hot tub, fire pit, and a laundry room. There’s wifi, a shelving unit with books and games, and a tv. It’s easy to access multiple national parks. Excellent choice for lodging. Highly recommended.

The apartment was perfectly clean, very comfortable, and super organized. We found everything we needed in the kitchen. There is a lot of space! We were just two adults, but I think the apartment would feel spacious for a family of 4. I haven't been to the area before and I wasn't sure about staying in Golden vs. staying in e.g. Banff to explore the national parks, but staying in Golden worked out really well (no regrets!). We loved the hot tub after a day of hiking. It is a great hot tub! Communication with Tracey was outstanding.

Absolutely amazing place to stay. Tracy and Wayne were welcoming and even put a Christmas tree up for us. The place had everything we needed for a comfy and cozy stay. The hot tub was a great bonus to enjoy and the neighborhood was quiet and scenic. We can’t wait to go back.

This was the perfect place for my friends and I to stay outside of the national parks in a smaller town. The home was very clean and well organized. It had anything we could have thought of needing. The hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful, giving us tips on where to go and what to see. Would definitely stay here again!

Tracy & Wayne were great hosts, welcoming, communicative and always there if we needed them! The cozy country mountain nest was perfect for our family. The hosts were so kind and considerate. Great neighborhood. Hot tub was perfect after the long ski days. Close to Kicking Horse. Close to groceries and restaurants. We are a family of four and this was perfect for our trip to JFCs at Kicking Horse. Great kitchen for cooking meals. Everything nicely labeled. Such a great place! Will definitely come back and recommend to friends! Thank you Tracy and Wayne for a lovely stay!!

It was an absolute pleasure to host Adriann and her family. They stayed with us for 6 nights and we barely knew they were here. Respectful, kind, friendly and left our place in great shape! We would definitely recommend them to other hosts and hope we get to host them again if they’re ever back in the area 😊

This 2-bedroom apartment (essentially one whole floor on ground level) is extremely clean, well-stocked with kitchen necessities, and organized (every cupboard is labelled on the outside). There are books and games for rain days. The view outside is amazing between two mountain ranges. The hot tub is in the front yard, but there is a privacy fence on two sides. Think of it as going to a public beach (though we didn't see anyone else when we were out there). The host is obviously very friendly and helpful based on our text communications. If Golden is on your destination list, you won't go wrong here!

Owning the family home, we can't be more happy to allow others to experience the mountains like we do. We love hosting and sharing stories on how this home was built and what you can enjoy in the Golden and surrounding area.

Habart is a quiet and family friendly neighborhood that is nested between the Rocky Mountains and the Purcell Mountains. You'll be in a small town but in close proximity to a large range of things to do. Hiking, rafting, sky diving, gliding, mountain biking, swimming and much more in the summer months. Skiing or snowboarding, exploring the back 40 on your snowmobile or snow shoeing, ice climbing and more in the winter months. At the end of the day, rest in a new luxury hot tub to finish the day off :)
