Forget your worries in this spacious oceanfront property overlooking the biggest fishing ground in Conception Bay. This new 2 bed apartment sits on the t-railway walking/biking/ATV trail which follows the coast. Summertime during the fishing season, the bay is full of fishing boats. See beautiful sunsets directly across the bay and when there is a rolling sea you hear the rocks rolling on the beach, like rumbling thunder.
The space
Brand new accessible 1020 sq. ft 2 bedroom, 3 bed, walkout apartment overlooking Conception Bay. . Private Driveway and entrance. Million dollar sunsets across the bay and amazing views of boats fishing cod and whales feeding.

-Grab rails for the toilet and shower.

Parking
ATV users: Room to park 3 vehicles complete with ATV trailers. Seal Cove ATV Staging area less than a minute away for easy loading. Parking also available at staging area parking lot for free.

Boaters: Room to park 2 boats with trailers. (**difficult turn for larger boats 22ft plus.) Boat launch is less than a minute away. Boat trailers and vehicles can also be left at the boat launch for free.

We are repeat visitors to Cory's place in Seal Cove - and we think that says it all! Great location, beautiful sunsets & views, love walking the trail, the apartment has more than we need, spotless all the time and they are so accommodating. We will be back again in the fall!

This lovely, comfortable apartment was well appointed with attention to every detail. We appreciated the generosity of our host in having the kitchen well stocked of everything we needed and more. That even included an air-fryer, milk and cream, jam and crescent rolls in the freezer with instructions for baking. It was centrally located for all the places we wanted to visit and the view of Conception Bay was beautiful.

This property has beautiful views of Conception Bay, 20 minute drive to downtown Sf Johns. There are numerous hiking trails in the area. The hosts go above and beyond what we have experienced in Vrbo. It is thoughtfully designed and decorated, kitchen has condiments and water bottles in the fridge and cream for coffee, spices, coffee, tea, bite size treats. It is immaculately clean and modern. Bed is super comfortable, linens and pillows exceptional. The hosts checked in with us to see if we needed anything. We would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Newfoundland! Amazing place!

This was a great location to have a peaceful stay with beautiful sunsets over the ocean, and was close enough to go do daily activities around St. John's. Great communication and the small details from the host made us feel welcome. We would definitely recommend this place.

Our second stay at Cory & Paul's place - and we are already booked again! Again, the place is spotless, responsive hosts, so accommodating...can't beat the view. This time we even had an iceberg right out the kitchen window. The frozen croissants with baking instructions were an added surprise - so thoughtful and yummy. If you like to stay just outside of town (with access to everything you need in minutes to CBS, and St. John's only 20 mins away) and have beautiful views & a walking path right along the ocean - stay here! Thanks again!

Great view and located across the road from the T'Railway, which is great for a nice walk or run. The apartment was clean and spacious. Our host was communicative. Would highly recommend.

Quiet / Relaxing B&B

Property was just as described / depicted in photos! Very clean, comfortable, and located in a great neighborhood with great views. The host was extremely accommodating, and the check in / check out process was hassle free. I do not think we wanted for much of anything! Would highly recommend and would stay again.

Most amazing B&B, worth it to stay further out of the city and enjoy the amazing view every morning and night. Short drive to all sights and the water. If we find ourselves back in Newfoundland will definitely be booking here again. 5 starts all around. The hosts goes above and beyond everything was thought out to perfection, and responds quickly to any inquiries.

Comfort with a view

This was a perfect central location to travel to St Johns, St Vincent Beach or to Bonivista. We appreciated all the comforts of home with comfy beds, an eat in fully equipped kitchen and a deck to watch the sunset. Nearby Shannanigans where we enjoyed fish and chips or Bergs for the best i e cream. Highly recommended.

Our host Cory was amazing as a host. He was very prompt in replying to all my questions and concerns and he made us feel right at home. The rental unit went above and beyond our expectations. One of the best rentals we have stayed at - ever!

We honestly cannot say enough good things about this property and it's owners. Super clean, amazing view, exactly as posted online (photos and description). They really thought of everything and more - stocked fridge with necessities, coffee & treats, folding chairs and table for the deck (amazing sunsets!), hair products, FULLY stocked kitchen appliances - air fryer and lobster pot...and so much more. Attention to detail was incredible. Cory was super responsive as well to any questions we had through our stay as well. We needed an accessible place and this more than met our needs. We look forward to returning!

Get away !

This apartment is self contained with a wonderful view of the ocean. There is a walking path on the shore. The hosts supplied basic spices and condiments to provide an easy experience for cooking. Beds are very comfortable and the heating and cooling systems provided great comfort. The wifi was excellent as was The TV access. Highly recommend. Only 30 minutes to St. John’s !

A real gem in the Rock with a bay view .

Cory was an excellent communicator right from pre booking to check out. Very hospitable and lots of little extras provided. Gave me suggestions on where to purchase seafood I was inquiring about. The property was as described and shown in pictures. instuctions were great and the kitchen was well stocked with all the utensils cooking ware plus so much more. Even povided outdoor chairs and lanterns. Felt like home and was an excellent location to launch from for day trips. Only downside was that we had to come home and didnt get time to walk more of the trail right outside the door and see more of the countryside. The view of the bay is specular whether sunny, sunset, fog or rain. We will be back and I have recommended the property to others visiting the area.

This is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy Conception Bay. The host have a wonderful place that is clean and peaceful. It is well equipped with everything to make you stay just like home. It has close access, short drive to many amenities. It is a great place that allows you to travel to many location like Bay Roberts, Bonavista Bay, Gander, Twilling Gate and St. Johns. I would definitely return .

This is one of the best apartments I have stayed at. There was everything, and I mean everything, you could ever need during your stay and it was spotlessly clean. You could have turn up with just a toothbrush and paste and had nothing to worry about. The apartment is first class and tastefully furnished, the kitchen is large and has everything you need to cook a full meal or just breakfast. There is a great patio to cook your bbq whilst you watch the whales and dolphins splashing in the cove in the sunset. Cory the host communicated very quickly and provided helpful advice and suggestions. I would highly recommend this place if you are not impressed it can only mean you are used to staying at Buckingham Palace. Thanks for a wonderful stay Cory, we will be back.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

The unique part and most enjoyable part of Seal Cove B&B is the ocean and the most amazing sunsets directly across the bay. Lots of boating and fishing activity during the summer. Listening to the waves rolling on the beach from an open window or the deck has to be the best feature - (The beach consists of very small boulders that roll with the waves).
The apartment is 1020sq.ft, modern, self-contained, very clean, with all amenities and basic condiments to make a guests stay easy and enjoyable. Has a private entrance and driveway. The space is fully accessible with large doorways, no steps and grab rails on bathroom fixtures.

The 17ft X 6.5ft lower deck and large 8ft windows in the living and dining room all open to the Bay. Directors’ chairs and flame/Bluetooth lamps and a propane BBQ are in place to enjoy the deck.

The T-railway runs in front of Seal Cove B&B and follows the shoreline along the coast. The T-railway was once the old railway track crossing the island, carrying passengers on a slow train called "the Newfie Bullet". The first passenger train across the island ran in June 1898. Regular passenger service ceased in July 1969, and the last freight ran in June 1988, and has since been transformed into a beautiful walking/running/biking trail. There is pilot project allowing ATV/UTV to access the trail going west towards Holyrood. Going east - motorized vehicles are prohibited and the trail is better groomed. The driveway can accommodate 4 vehicles with trailers. Vehicles with boat/ATV trailers can be left at the Seal Cove ATV staging - boat launch area as well.

Seal Cove B&B is often used as a base to enjoy day trips to places like St. Vincent’s Beach to watch whales, scenic Brigus, Dildo, Petty Harbour, Bell Island Number 2 Mine Tour and many other day adventures. Relax in the evenings watching a sunset across the bay and plan your next adventure.

During off season the metallic epoxy floors are heated, a guest favorite and rates discounted.
