Perfect gem of a getaway. Only stayed one night but definitely see ourselves coming back and for longer next time. Dinner at nearby Jose Tequila’s was 10/10.

Location is great, the RV was clean. Outside is a little bit spidery and we had to request towels even though the listing said they were provided. Host was responsive and quick to provide them.

Upon arriving it was dark & I was having a hard time finding the residence. I gave the host a call & he was very friendly and helpful, was able to find it right after speaking with him. The RV is super cute, very relaxing view in the back.

Best of both worlds

Short walk to the beach to watch the sun rise and go back and watch the sun set over the bay. Baja restaurant is a stones throw away you can walk there for dinner.Its quiet the wildlife is great to watch you’re right on the water. It’s adorable inside everything you need. The owner was wonderful available for your needs any time! Definitely going back!

Great location, the rv itself was ok, spacious, does the job for a beach weekend. a little overpriced for what you get. The pull out couches were not comfortable at all and there was not much provided. One roll of toilet paper, one trash bag. It would have been nice to have a sponge to wash dishes and some basic spices. Maybe a couple K cups for coffee. I would rent again.

Property was not cleaned properly prior to arrival

Although the inside of the rv appeared clean, I noticed multiple human hairs on the bed and pillows, including two long black strands of hair. When I informed the owner, the reply was that the unit had been closed, I was the first customer of the season and the cleaner just did a "quick touch up." Fortunately, I had a sleeping bag in my car so I slept in that on the bed and draped a bath towel over the pillow. The next morning I called VRBO customer service got a refund for my remaing two nights minus the taxes and cleaning fee, of couse. Kudos to VRBO for their excellent customer service. I checked into a hotel in VA Beach for the remainder of my stay.

Better options available

Check-in was supposed to be at 4pm. Arrived a few minutes prior, used the check-in instructions to enter the camper. The place has not been cleaned at all, bed unmade with dirty linens, sand in shower with towels on floor, etc. My wife and I both tried contacting host multiple times through the various methods of communication- phone call, voicemail, text message, message through VRBO with no response. An hour later we are still outside the camper with a crying baby needing a place to check-in to and the cleaner finally arrives saying how this camper wasn’t scheduled for a clean and had just a few minutes prior received a phone call from host to clean. Still no response from host at this point. Clean linens were provided, soap, sponges, toilet paper, ammenities were nice. The outside of the unit was still covered in cobwebs and surrounding area dirty and cluttered. The host even had his car parked in the driveway which was already very small. Hours later the host shows up to move his car, not seeming too concerned about our check in trouble. He offered a late checkout to make things right. Wouldn’t book with this host again.

We do not recommend this rental to anyone. This place is not fit for rental. You save all year for a week family trip and all we had was stress and being uncomfortable. As a property manager I know you need to have access to onsite maintenance which there is none. The weather was poor our first 4 days so we were stuck in the camper due to rain and we had no internet or tv for 4 days. The manager did reply and scheduled cox cable. Then the awning collapsed trapping us in the camper. Lucky he had a neighbor come help us. Then our hose for spraying off after the beach burst and was not replaced until the day before we left. The surround sound does not work and can barely hear tv over ac. Ac needs serviced it was 90 degrees inside the trailer with ac running on high. We had to buy a portable ac because the manager said he would bring us something and never cameThere is a 6” gap between steps and trailer. The grill has no cover so is filled with rain water and rusted. There are 2 bikes to ride but again so rusted u would get tetnis from riding them. The shower does not have a trap so when hot out the back of trailer smells like sewer. We are reasonable people but when you re ignored and no help is giving or offered it is unacceptable.

We are so really sorry of all the bad things that happened all at once to you. That is the reason why we gave you back a good amount of money as compensation. But i still understand your frustration. On a different note: whenever you put the AC at 58 degrees, the system freezes and stop working. There were hot days, but lowering the ac the way you did, made it worse. The ac units are working perfectly fine since the day you left.

Great property! It was just what we needed for a getaway with my husband. Very clean and nicely updated inside. The host was super nice. Check-in and access was very efficient. The area was very peaceful and quiet after dark. I will certainly stay again in this or another property owned by this host.
