Wanderlust Haven overlooks the heart of Gardiner, next to Yellowstone Nat'l Park

Constructed in 2017, the Wanderlust Haven is perfect for 4 adult travelers who want to rest easy after their daily adventures and many activities in the area. This cabin sits above, with spectacular views, to the heart of Gardiner and the North Entrance to Yellowstone National Park, affording you in town convenience but the ability to relax away from the hustle and bustle.

When you're ready to be apart of what the town Gardiner has to offer, within walking distance you will find coffee shops, restaurants, shopping, watering holes and more. We think you will find this place to be just like home, so come sit back, relax and enjoy all the things Montana and Yellowstone have to offer.


SIZE OF THE HOME: The cabin is approximately 1100 square feet. Cabin has a large rear deck and an additional circular patio just below with a BBQ and additional seating for dining and star gazing.

AIR CONDITIONING: Wanderlust Cabin has a central air conditioning unit for those hot and miserable days, plus ceiling fans in each bedroom and living room area. A rarity in the Gardiner area!

BEDROOMS/BATHROOMS: There are two bedrooms and two bathrooms. In the master bedroom you'll find a comfortable queen size bed, full bathroom with shower and a large walk in closet. In the second bedroom you will find a comfortable queen size bed, full bathroom with tub shower and closet.

KITCHEN: The kitchen, dining and living areas of the cabin are all one big room, which gives the cabin a very homey feel. The kitchen is equipped with an electric range and oven, refrigerator, microwave, and all the necessary cookware. The kitchen island seats four comfortably and a BBQ grill and deck seating is provided for outdoor meals.

LIVING ROOM: The living room adjoins the kitchen and dining area. Furnished with brand new leather couch and chairs for all the comforts of home.

PARKING: Parking can be problematic in the town of Gardiner, but no worries when staying at the Wanderlust Haven! This cabin is located on a quiet, dead end road and we've provided you with 2 private parking spot just feet from the front door!

ACTIVITIES NEARBY: Enjoy fine hiking, mountain biking, Blue Ribbon fishing, horseback riding, whitewater rafting and all that the Paradise Valley has to offer. A day trip to Yellowstone National Park is a definite must as well as Mammoth Hot Springs & Chico Hot Springs. There's so much to do!

Perfect Place to. Stay

Great location, clean and comfy beds. Everything you need is right on property for cooking etc. Good wifi and cell service. Quiet!! We were able to sit on the porch, which also had comfy seating, and watch elk while we drank our coffee.

Great family vacation in Yellowstone. The house has everything you need and it is very comfortable. Stacey and Derek offer great info for seeing the park and Gardiner in general. It exceeded my expectations!

Incredible cabin

We loved staying at this cabin for a week as we explored nearby Yellowstone. Not only was the location perfect, so was the cabin!!! Check-in was smooth and easy as our host was clear with instructions, friendly, welcoming and responsive. Comfortable beds, great kitchen with all you need to prepare meals (we only ate two lunches at restaurants in the park), great views, and a gracious host. We awoke one morning to elk in the side yard! Coffee on the deck in the mornings, snacks and drinks on the deck in the evenings with views of the grand Gardiner valley and Yellowstone River. What more could you ask for? We plan to return again next year and stay in this cabin.

Better than the pictures

We loved this house and our hosts they were amazing! The home is well built and perfectly designed- kitchen has everything you need including a cooler and cold packs to pack lunches, snacks etc Host gave us a snack basket and drinks- so thoughtful- I would absolutely recommend this rental

Did I say it is Located near the North Gate of YS! The original old North Entrance gate is even visible from the awe inspiring deck at the rear of Wanderlust. Did I say it is perched above the vibrant town of Gardiner with its shops and great food. Did I say Wanderlust is located on an easy drive to the Bozeman Yellowstone Airport. Did I say Wanderlust is a fresh contemporary mountain style home loaded with creature comforts to rest ones weary bones after a full day at YS. Did I say the rear of Wanderlust has a postcard perfect view through expansive Pella Windows of the hills and mountains to the west of Gardiner. Locate a travel date and make your trip a memorable experience by staying at Wanderlust. This veteran VRBOER highly recommends this comfortable lodging .

THE Perfect Homebase to enjoy Yellowstone!

Wow! We were so blessed to find this new property to enjoy during our first trip to Yellowstone National Park. The cabin is brand new and so thoughtfully and richly furnished with the utmost in comfort and everything we would ever need. The view from the cabin and the back deck is absolutely stunning. We had a chance to meet Derek, the owner and were so blessed by his hospitality and eagerness to help us get the most out of our visit. We enjoyed learning about Derek and Stacy and how they both came out from New York. Stacy left an invaluable binder chocked full of useful information in the cabin. Before we even set foot on the property, we were impressed. We had to move the dates for stay and Christy was so helpful and made it so easy. All in all, this is an absolutely fantastic property to stay while enjoying Yellowstone, and the owners are so awesome! We were received blessing upon blessing. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home with us. We will definitely be back here on our next trip to Yellowstone.

Annual YS visit

Accurately depicted in pictures and descriptions. Well appointed and stocked 2 bedroom, 2 bath cabin overlooking Gardiner, minutes from YS. Very clean and comfortable. Everything seamless with the hosts. Would definitely stay again

Wanderlust Haven

Wonderful location! Looks over Gardiner with mountains beyond and a couple of minutes to Yellowstone north entrance. This home is so clean and well supplied. Had elk and deer in the yard. The owners are great hosts. As the pictures imply, it is a superb home!

Wonderful home

This home was the perfect place for our trip to Yellowstone. It was so close to the north entrance that entering the park was a breeze. The home itself had everything we needed and the owners were just great to work with and so helpful. They were so kind and answered any questions we had.. The home was comfortable and the view amazing. When leaving there was a large elk resting right by the door. He was amazing and it made our trip complete.

Perfect Rental

The cabin was very clean and comfortable. It was conveniently located near the entrance to Yellowstone. Small details like a cooler we could pack drinks in and baggies for snacks made the stay even easier. Highly recommend.

Spectacular

This home is absolutely beautiful! The view is amazing and so are the hosts! They left a cute little snack basket, bingo cards to mark off animals seen for the kiddos, and the most delicious root beer! Gardiner is THE cutest little town! We would definitely stay here again! Beds were comfy, and the house was so clean! We made some great memories in Yellowstone!

Perfect house for family of four

My husband and I spent a few nights here with our two boys in July. The house was impeccable, with a warm, cozy feel. The house was located just a couple minutes from the main street in Gardiner and about a mile from the North entrance of Yellowstone. Perfect location!

Quiet , peaceful place with views in every direction

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Wanderlust Haven. There are views of Yellowstone Nat park and the town of Gardiner in every direction. The house is decorated with photos of local wildlife, shampoos, soaps, are provided. The beds were very comfortable. Derek and Christy left us with a little gift basket of snacks and some nice beer in the fridge. Hopefully we will return to visit. Gardiner Montana is a lovely town and the locals are very friendly.

Amazing views

We enjoyed our cup of coffee in the mornings looking at the mountains views. Also every morning there was sightseeing of wildlife steps away from the property. Highly recommend for a true Montana experience.

Awesome in Montana

I can't say enough about how much we loved this house. One of the best we ever rented. House was beautiful and updated. Plenty of room and storage. Super location in town...you could see the Roosevelt Arch and Yellowstone entry gate from inside and outside the house. Super clean. Lots of added touches that you don't see in many rentals (book of things to do, descriptions on where to find things in the house, luxury linens, etc). I won't go back to Gardiner if this house isn't available! Great communication with owners. HIGHLY recommend!!!

AWESOME! Simply fantastic home!

Derek left no stone unturned when it came to the smallest of details. From the selection of beverages in the fridge to the iced mugs in the freezer- as well as the very prompt response to a message we left for him. We will definitely go back! We just loved the whole heart experience and Yellowstone wasn’t too bad either...

The property is near, clean and has a great view. The mangers provided timely information pre-arrival and during stay. Very smooth process. Would recommend it highly.

Don’t hesitate! Book this cabin now!

Our friends stayed the week before and recommended this place to us. How fortunate we were to stay here. The owners have thought of everything and more! You can tell they want guests to have a great time without anything to worry about. They go the extra mile by checking in on the guests upon arrival, providing snacks and there was even root beer in the fridge. The cabin looks new and is kept that way. It is so convenient to Yellowstone and the views are breathtaking. Seriously. Stop looking at other places and book this cabin. You won’t regret it! We hope to be able to go back again.

Yellowstone

We loved our stay and can't wait to come back. Even sent our neighbors the link and they booked it as well. The cabin is roomy and well stocked. The view is unbelievable! There were elk and deer camped out below the back porch every day. The owners even left us a welcome basket and root beer for the kids. They also checked on us a few times throughout our stay! I didn’t see anything comparable in the Gardiner area so STAY HERE!

When traveling, I specifically try to include a different and unique National Park in every journey.  I find that my favorite adventures arise along the back roads scattered between our great national treasures.  
   
I came to the Gardiner area to work and play in Yellowstone National  Park years ago.  After that one first summer in Yellowstone National Park I knew I had found my true home.   I'm currently employed by a Yellowstone Park concessionaire and in my spare time I enjoy researching Yellowstone history.
