Amazing, picturesque snug studio barn, absolutely loved this entire experience from the moment we were greeted by owner Ray when arrived to watching the hummingbirds, deer and sunrise from the private porch. It was so darn adorable and perfectly located to all the things we wanted to do. We will be back!

We're so glad this experience felt as special to you as it does to us. The porch views, visiting deer, and sunrise moments are some of our favorite parts of this studio barn, and it means a lot that they stood out during your stay. We work hard to keep the space snug, comfortable, and perfectly located for exploring the area, so it's wonderful to hear that all came together for you. Thank you for sharing such a heartfelt 5-star review, and we look forward to welcoming you back soon.

The barn was well appointed, very clean, and had many thoughtful touches that made my stay enjoyable. Little touches like binoculars and board games. The kitchen had both a Keurig and a small coffee pot, many spices, and everything needed to cook a meal. My dog enjoyed the property and especially the balcony with the birdfeeder. The location was very convenient to both Newmarket and Luray. The host met me when I drove in and made sure that I had everything that I needed.I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Wonderful

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Barn at Elbow Landing! The property owners were very friendly, hospitable, and accommodating. The Barn was very clean and well appointed. Ray & Sylvia thought of everything a traveler would need to feel right at home. We spent a lot of time sitting on the porch, enjoying the birds and the mountain view. When we weren't sipping coffee or cocktails on the porch, we explored the area and visited the Luray Caverns, which were amazing and just a few miles away. We would definitely recommend The Barn at Elbow Landing! Thank you, Ray & Sylvia, for a wonderful start to our multi-state road trip.

Best Stay in Luray

The property was quite easy to drive to, especially during a holiday week. Located by the Shenandoah State Park and minutes from Luray caverns, this property offered scenic views and comfortable comfortable accommodations. The cabin is located adjacent to the owners, however the stay was quiet and the owners only made themselves available when/if needed. This cabin has EVERYTHING you need. A small fridge with water and basic condiments, utensils, grill, cable (netflix included!), wifi, and so much more. There was even a large jacuzzi in the bathroom. They even had extra toothbrushes, if you forget yours at home. This property is perfect for a couples getaway and/or a dog. We were able to bring our dog with no issues. Theres an amazing porch overlooking the mountains and offered views of the local wildlife. The electric firplace provided a safe and smokefree option for a quiet escape from the city. My husband and I will definitely come back!
