13 Acres Retreat is appropriately named as a "retreat". The property is composed of approximately 15 small cabins (guessing 200 sf). The property is unsupervised. There are no yoga or meditation classes, at least not that we saw at the advertised times. We did not observe any children at the property. In my opinion, not meant as a family destination. Mainly single backpackers. We stayed in the "Casa Paradiso" cabin. Very clean, and kitchen amenities were provided. Our unit was unique in that it had a partitioned area for complete privacy . The community bathroom was located about 100 yards away from our cabin but we did not find it inconvenient. Fully plumbed bathroom (not an outhouse) and we found it to be in immaculate condition. We did not have any problems in waiting to use it. The outdoor shower (with hot water) has a latch/lock door for privacy and was about 200 yards from our cabin - also very clean. There are a couple of small kiosk buildings that offer complimentary coffee for staying guests and small item package foods for purchase through Venmo. Our only real disappointment was the check in process. Unlike other Vrbo's we've stayed, there was no email prior to explain the check in process. We arrived without access and our host was not immediately available for phone conversation, only texts - which is something that I suppose is the norm in 2026, but something that this baby boomer has still not gotten used to, LOL.
