Nan's Cottage in the Yarra Valley

Nan's Cottage is ideally located close to Yarra Junction township, a short drive to all the sights of Warburton and surrounding areas. A perfect home away from for a weekend away or a longer stay to explore what the beautiful Yarra Valley has to offer.

Tucked away behind the owner's residence, Nan's Cottage is a cosy one bedroom cottage offering you a warm and comfortable stay. Set in beautiful gardens and with an abundance of bird life visitors. Sitting on the deck with a cup of tea, you are sure to see visiting King Parrots and Rosellas, lets not forget to mention the resident possum who like to visit in the evenings.

Stepping into the cottage, you are welcomed with an open living space and kitchen. The kitchen has all the basics needed during your stay. There is a comfortable queen bed and bathroom with shower and toilet. From the dining area window you can see the birds popping to the feeder for their dinner!

During the summer months, guests have access to the swimming pool - Don't forget your swimwear, pool towels are provided. The pool is heating during the summer months, you can certainly use during winter months if you dare, however it won't be heated.

Nan's Cottage is located in Yarra Junction, walking distance to town, where you will find cafes and shops to explore along with a supermarket and pharmacy if needed. A short drive along the highway to Warburton, you can stop at Blue Lotus Gardens (seasonal) and other sights along the way. For those a little more adventurous, cycling from Yarra Junction along the Warburton Rail Trail to Warburton is a great way to take in the natural settings including the famous Yarra River. Further afield, around 20 minute drive is the tourist town of Healesville, with the wildlife sanctuary and many wineries and restaurants, which are definitely worth a visit.

A stay at Nan's Cottage certainly won't disappoint!

Things to Note:
Guest have sole use of the cottage on the property. The cottage is located behind owner Greg & Fiona's main residence.
Guests can enjoy garden around the cottage and of course the swimming pool in the back yard.
