Great Location in Athens

Great apt and central to many of the main sites to visit in Athens. Located in a fairly busy are so some noise in the early morning hours from the bars and restaurants but worth it for the location. Host was very accommodating and would definitely choose to stay there again.

Great time in Athens

If you want to be close to everything in central Athens, this is the place for you. Restaurants and cafés are all around you. Monasteraki Square is just around the corner. The apartment has everything you need. The hosts, Vicky and Michalis were very responsive and accommodating. However, I must say that if you are looking for a quiet place, this is not for you. Because of its central location, expect a lot of city noise. We did OK, but we did have to wear earplugs at night.

Near Everything

The space is very nice and secure. It is close to Acropolis, restaurants, market, shops, & popular neighborhoods. The bathrooms are very nice, and accessible from hallway, not on suite. Accessibility to laundry was nice- it's a washer/dryer combo, so make sure to ask or look up directions. Because of the location, it is very loud late into the night and starts early in the morning. We had white noise app and ear plugs and worked pretty well.

Excellent apartment with one flaw

This is a very good place to say, just across from Monastiraki Square, clean, with comfortable beds, ample room, and a nice kitchen. The only problem we had was that we only received one set of keys. That is very inconvenient if two people want to explore the city independently. That being said, if there were two sets of keys I would stay here again.

Close to restaurants and subway

Very nice and modern accommodation in a secure building with elevator. Right across from busy and exciting Monastiraki Square and great restaurants. The owner was very responsive and helpful. We highly recommend this beautiful apartment.

Great Visit!

Condo was great! Location and amenities were perfect and provided us with everything we needed. The location was ideal for tourist areas but more importantly the close proximity/ access to the local neighborhood cafes and bars that became our favorite. The care provided by the owner and his team was what really provided us an ideal experience. They were caring, accommodating and took special care of us from providing transportation needs and suggestions to local cafes and bars. Will definitely stay again next visit!

The communication, welcome and place were all top notch. We were well taken care of, and the apartment was very spacious, well apportioned, and clean. Phenomenal shower, and a location that can't be beat.

If location and convenience is what you are looking for…

Location, location, location! This property is right by the Monastiraki Square, which is close to restaurants, shopping, and Metro. Because of the location, it is quite noisy at night. But the location can’t be beat. You are able to walk to all the major sites of Athens. Michelis was very responsive and helpful. He even allowed us to place our luggage in property before check in time so we wouldn’t have to find a luggage storage facility. It was convenient to have a lift but I’m pretty sure the lift is on a timer. We had to leave early in the morning to head to the airport and the lift was not running at that time. Overall, great stay and again, the location was fantastic.

Amazing experience!

From the moment the booking took place, the owner was very communicative. He offered assistance with restaurant locations and provided detailed information about our stay. He was very accommodating when our plans changed and his support staff did a wonderful job ensuring we were comfortable with the entry and exit process of the building. He even provided information about Greek culture and expectations. The apartment was clean and looked just like the pictures. I highly recommend staying here! If I return to Athens this will be the first place I will look to reserve.

Perfect location

The apartment was clean and well enough appointed. The washer/dryer was very helpful. Beds were comfortable. Be prepared for street noise at all hours… but the location can’t be beat. Very convenient for food, shopping, hop on/off buses, walk to the Acropolis and other sites. Owner was always quick to reply and helped with everything we needed.

Excellent stay

Apartment description is accurate. Comfortable beds, clean, fully equipped kitchen with espresso maker. Host even provided a nice welcome basket with wine, coffee and condiments. Location is central and very convenient to key attractions. Active night scene, so bring ear plugs if you want to have windows open at night.

Great apt. in the center of Athens with a terrific host

This is a great apt. near Monastiraki Square in Central Athens, and we would highly recommend it. It was extremely clean, well equipped, and looked just like the pictures on the website. This 2 bdrm, 2 bath apartment had everything we needed, and it's extremely close to a grocery store, coffee shops, restaurants (a great breakfast place is across the street), and much else. Michaelis was an extremely warm and helpful host. He made arrangements to have us picked up from and brought back to the airport by his friend, the taxi driver, Chris. He met us when we arrived at the apartment to show us around, answered our questions and made great suggestions regarding restaurants and sites we should visit. He even left snacks and drinks for us in the apartment, which was a very nice surprise. Although this apt. is very close to a Metro station, we walked everywhere we wanted to go because it was so ideally located.

Location, location, location!

Much to say. Host Micheal was very informative and helpful before ever even checking in. Upon arrival he spent time to give us a “lay of the land”. Accommodations were excellent…very clean and plenty of room…even had a bottle of wine ready for us. Has a restaurant across the street with rooftop views of the Acropolis. Great central location with everything in walking distance. Micheal made transportation arrangements for us including a private tour to the southern tip of Athens to see Temple of Poseidon in Sounion and swim in the clearest waters. Would HIGHLY recommend this VRBO to anyone!

What a fantastic location!

Family of four had a blast. Children are 20 and 24 and my wife and I had a great time in the heart of Athens. Tons of stuff to do great food great bars easy to reach Metro in the middle of everything. Michael as a host couldn't of been more accommodating and was very easy to communicate with. Only recommendations would be a full length mirror and anti-slip area rugs on the tile floor yes, to prevent falling… Which happened to me. Would definitely stay again!

Lovely two bedroom two bath apartment in the heart of the city

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. Having a "home base" with all the amenities made our visit to the Athens area really special. Our host, Michalis was the best. He met us at the apartment, provided us a "welcome basket" and stayed to chat with us about the area. He even arranged for a taxi to take us to the airport after our stay. The location allows easy access to the metro, and is also in walking distance to most of the major points of interest. The trade-off for staying right across from Monistiraki square is the noise. So just come prepared. and you'll be okay. We had earplugs from our flight over which helped muffle the sound and allowed us to sleep. Emjoy!

Wow…… excellent

Can’t say enough great things about this property and the host. The location is ideal! We were able to walk all over the city and yet somehow still be within 10 minutes of the property. Close to many of the best rooftop bars and restaurants. Someone is our party left their passports at the apartment after we left Athens. Michalis not only retrieved and held onto the documents and cash but met us on our return to Athens a few days later. Stay with confidence in knowing you’re in great hands.
