Charming rural cottage, private pool and wifi in the charming area of ​​the Lecrin Valley, near Dúrcal, 25 minutes from Granada, 30 minutes from the beach and 50 minutes from the Sierra Nevada ski resort.

The house has a fabulous garden full of vegetation, olive trees, hammocks, Balinese beds. It also has a magnificent pool of 10 x 5 meters.

From its charming porch you can enjoy the spectacular sunsets, the views of the Lecrin Valley and Sierra Nevada. Feel the air of nature and breathe fresh air.

The house has a loft with a bedroom with double and single bed, sofa bed in the living room-kitchen and bathroom, also has a warm fireplace, moruno oven and barbecue.

The house is approximately 300 meters away from the health center of Dúrcal and the supermarket. It is a perfect choice for a holiday of charm in harmony with nature.

Enjoy your dinner under the porch looking at the stars. Relax in the garden reading a book or enjoying a sunbath.

Do not miss the opportunity to visit Granada, the Lecrin Valley, the Alpujarras and the tropical coast.The swimming pool will be available in the summer months (ask for opening and closing dates). We supply firewood in the winter months, not included in the rent.

Es war ein richtig schöner Aufenthalt im Haus von Antonio.Der Check-in wie Check-out verlief reibungslos, immer schnelle Antworten.Das Haus bietet alles, was man braucht. Der Garten mit dem riesigen Pool ist ein Traum!Wir verbrachten zehn wunderschöne Tage von Mitte bis Ende August in Durcal.Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind schnell mit dem Auto erreichbar und für einen Besuch in Durcal reicht ein kleiner Spatziergang.Wir würden auf jedenfall wiederkommen!

Una estancia maravillosa

Es el sitio perfecto para una escapada tranquila. La casa tiene todo lo que necesitas y el exterior es, simplemente maravilloso. La piscina cumple las expectativas de quien le guste nadar ya que es lo suficientemente grande. El porche es muy fresco y se está estupendamente a la sombra a cualquier hora del día. La situación de la casa es perfecta, ya que está cerca del pueblo para hacer cualquier compra y a su vez un poco alejada para mayor tranquilidad. Sin duda la recomendamos y volveremos a visitarla seguro.

Me and my boyfriend had a wonderful stay at the house. it is as beautiful as in the pictures. we enjoyed the days at the pool or relaxing under the olive trees, and the evenings watching the sunset and having barbecue. there also is a Whirlpool (not in the pictures), that we didn't use as it was too hot. there was only one neighbour but they are not able to actually see you neither we often heared them. So you will have lots of privacy! we highly recommend a car to visit the beaches south and Granada north. And the Sierra Nevada! The kittchen is well equiped (my boyfriend is picky here haha) and there is a gas stove.we highly recommend this place and would love to come back!We would love

Una casa con jardín espectacular y una piscina fantástica, cada cosa en su sitio y los detalles no faltan. Fuimos desde Barcelona en coche, llegamos a las 23:30 y el recibimiento por parte de los propietarios fue fabuloso, vaya encanto de familia, siempre pendientes pero sin molestar y siempre dispuestos en ayudar y aconsejar. No hay nota suficiente para puntuar la estancia.P.d: nuestro hijo pregunta por vosotros.

Nous avons passé une semaine magnifique chez Celi! Nous sommes une famille avec 3 enfants et nous avions besoin d’un bel endroit pour se reposer... La maison a été au dessus de nos attentes! Celi a pensé à tout. En plus d’une très généreuse attention à notre arrivée, nous n’avons manqué de rien... La cheminée est top aussi pour l’ambiance chaleureuse le soir! Quant au jardin, il est juste parfait! La vue est magnifique, très bien arboré et très bien entretenu... En plus de la piscine, nous avons pu profiter du jacuzzi bien chaud, en fin de journée face à la montagne... De plus la ville de Dúrcal est extrêmement bien située, car nous avons pu visiter Grenade, Cordoue, Málaga et le Sierra Nevada! Nous avons passé une semaine magnifique et nous recommandons cet endroit où nous retournerons volontiers!

Somos una pareja con bebé de dos años y nos hemos alojado en este rincón de Celi durante una semanita. Nuestra experiencia ha sido fantástica. El sitio es como se ve en las fotos e incluso mejor. Es un rincón genial para desconectar y disfrutar de la piscina y los pequeños detalles exteriores. Lo que más nos gustó fue poder disfrutar de las puestas de sol desde cada pequeño rincón de la casa. Celi es una anfitriona súper atenta, de trato amable y respuesta rápida para solucionar cualquier duda. Además lo tiene todo muy bien cuidado y la casa está muy bien equipada. Muchas gracias ,seguro que nos vemos pronto!

Ideal for a couples retreat.

The villa is situated in a quiet rural location,well appointed and tidy grounds,Antonio made the checkin simple and efficient with excellent communication, we had a small problem with the pool which was dealt with immediately by the owner Carlos. A very pleasant stay.

Heel mooi en sfeervol huis

Heel mooi huis met alles wat je maar nodig zou kunnen hebben. Overal is aan gedacht. Genoeg handdoeken en voorraden. De eigenaar had onlangs een nieuwe opblaasbare jacuzzi geplaatst waar we 's avond heerlijk gebruik van hebben gemaakt. Het enige nadeel vonden wij dat het niet dichtbij een gezellige dorpskern zit. Met de auto heeft de omgeving wel leuke uitstapmogelijkheden zoals Granada en de kustplaatsen, alles binnen een uurtje rijden.

Paradies im Olivenhain

Es war eine traumhaft schöne Woche. Das Haus ist sehr ruhig gelegen und sehr gepflegt. Von der Veranda aus kann man wunderschöne Sonnenuntergänge beobachten, der Pool ist sehr Wahnsinn und in der Anzeige wurde der Whirlpool vergessen. Wenn man mit einem Kleinkind unterwegs ist muss man beachten, dass das Haus kein separates Schlafzimmer hat, sondern das man auf einer Galerie schläft... Uns wurde netterweise vom Vermieter ein Babybett zur Verfügung gestellt. Der Kontakt mit dem Vermieter war sehr angenehm. Nicht gut war das sehr schwache warme Wasser unter der Dusche, aber der Rest des Hauses lässt einen diesen Punkt vergessen. :-)

Fabulous cottage in unique setting

The house is in really good condition and it was spotless clean on our arrival. The garden is gorgeous and the kitchen is really well equipped. We also very much appreciated the flexibility of check-in and check out times. We would definitely come back if we were in the area again!!! We had great time and a lot of it is thanks to this wonderful property! About the cottage itself. It is situated: - to the south-west - possible to enjoy lovely sunsets with a great view - close to the town and a supermarket, its possible to walk to have a dinner in Durcal centre - among olive orchard - gives feeling of seclusion and privacy - In Lecrin valley - convenient place to drive to either North or South parts of Sierra Nevada, easy access to Granada and also the coast Finally one more thing - as someone already has mentioned in the comments, the house does not have a central heating. It is equipped with a chimney, one electric radiator, air conditioning/heater and a small electric heater. Nevertheless, from our view this was not a problem. We were unfortunately unlucky with the weather for several days during our stay. The temperatures were in the lower teens and it was raining for multiple days in a row - very humid. Also when we arrived, the house hasn't been used for a while so it was pretty cold. To be honest, I was a bit anxious whether we will feel comfortable. However, it took us only several hours to warm the house up. We initially got a bit of smoky smell inside the house - but this has disappeared as soon as the chimney has been heated up for several hours. Once the fire gets rid of the humidity inside the chimney, the ventilation is excellent and for the rest of our stay we had absolutely no issues and we were warm and cosy :) - so as said, from our point of view this was really not a problem :)

Wunderschöne und ruhige Lage

Wir waren sehr glücklich mit dem Haus, allerdings muss man den Außen und Innenbereich getrennt bewerten. Außen: alles perfekt, super schöne Aussicht, riesiger und sauberer Pool, viele schöne Sitzmöglichkeiten. Innen: sauber, jedoch max für 4 Leute. Die Dusche hat uns nicht gefallen da jedes mal nach dem Duschen und unschöner Geruch aus dem Abfluss kam. Außerdem hatten wir abends sehr schnell kein warmes Wasser mehr. Sonst alles gemütlich mit viel Zubehör :)

Lovely!

The property is in a nice situation with mountain views. All fixtures and fittings are high quality. Everything is spotlessly clean, it is one of the only times that we have been to a property and felt comfortable about using the cooking utensils! All were immaculately clean.

Lovely place, just as described and in a great location

Very private without being miles from anywhere. Great pool, gardens and house. Very helpful hosts. 5 minutes from a big supermarket for convenience. 25 minutes from Grenada and some wonderful drives up into the Sierra Nevada easily at hand.

Descanso idílico

Los exteriores de la casa corresponden perfectamente con las fotografías. Tranquilidad, sol y descanso. El centro del pueblo está cerca y se puede cenar y tapear muy rico. Fuimos con perro y total tranquilidad porque está todo vallado. Muy recomendable. Dispone de un jacuzzi en el jardín y cortina de ducha (que no se veían en las fotos). Gracias a Celi por los detalles de bienvenida.

Tolles Haus, perfekter Urlaub...Erholung mit allen Sinnen

Das Haus, der Garten und die Lage sind traumhaft, die Bilder in der Internetbeschreibung entsprechen der Wahrheit. Auch die Nähe zu den Geschäften in Durcal macht es so angenehm. Wir haben uns mit dem Verwalter Antonio in der Nähe getroffen, er ist sehr verlässlich und hilfsbereit...professionell halt. Der Innenbereich ist mit allen notwendigen Dingen ausgestattet, die man für einen längeren Aufenthalt benötigt. Für 6 Personen mag das Haus und die Schlafmöglichkeiten etwas klein sein (dies ist rein unsere subjektibve Einschätzung), da es dann schon arg eng wird...ist aber kein Negativpunkt, nur eine Anmerkung. Der Garten und die vielen "Chill-Out-Areas" sind perfekt, geradezu traumhaft, um auch mal einen Tag "daheim" zu verbringen, aber natürlich nutzen wir Durcal für mehr, darunter: - Besuch von Granada und der Alhambra - Diverse Rennradtouren in der Sierra Nevada, man muß jedoch Berge lieben...dann ist auch der Pico del Veleta möglich! Es war eine sehr, sehr schöne Zeit und können diese Haus absolut empfehlen.

Small house, good outdoor facilities, good views

The property was much as we expected - small but well enough equipped. We visited in February and the house was very cold despite temperatures outside in the upper teens. There is no heating in this house except an open log fire and a small electric heater so it was very difficult to stay warm. The log fire is unusable as it creates huge amounts of smoke in the room despite the owners advice to keep a window open (defeats the purpose of the fire!). The outside area is very good and well equipped with great views to the surrounding Sierra Nevada. The local town was disappointing and not a tourist attraction. There is a good supermarket close by and smaller shops in the town. The owners were welcoming and helpful.

A little gem with wonderful outdoor space!

We had two glorious weeks in this delightful cottage. The outdoor space was fantastic...even better in reality! The property was clean, well maintained & had everything we required. Antonio was very helpful with advice on local restsurants & places to visit etc. The owner was also on hand if we required anything. It is situated approx 25 minutes from Granada by car, there are also small villages close by that are worth a visit. The local village is 10 minutes walk & has a supermarket, pharmacy etc. We ate at the cottage many nights & enjoyed the wonderful sunsets. I would reccomend this property to a couple looking to escape! We really enjoyed our stay & hope to make a return visit.

This was a fabulous experience from the moment we arrived until leaving . The place looked idyllic on the website and lived up to everything . The outside space was private while having tremendous views across the area. Whether it was morning ,afternoon or evening , the setting was perfect . The property was very clean and had everything required .It was around 15 minutes walk into the plaza in the center of the town which was very pleasant .We were initially met by Antonio who looked after the property and he was extremely helpful all through the week with anything we were looking to do. The owner Celi was also very helpful and conscious of ensuring our stay was good . The place was also very handy for Granada which was about 20 mins drive away . .Not only would I recommend it to others but hope to go back for another perfect holiday !
