Disappointed.
The best part about this VRBO is the outdoor patio, though it is small, and that the interior has a lot of space. That said, those attributes are not sufficient to outweigh the many negatives, so much so that we left a day early. The main point is that the apartment has not been taken care of, it is in shabby condition. The heat only works in the kitchen and maybe a little in the living room, but not in the bedroom. Fortunately, we had warmer weather most days in October, so if we just left the heat on in the kitchen, the apartment stayed somewhat warm. Other comments: the kitchen faucet is loose, and the hot water is way too hot, it will scald you (and burn your child). The dog next door barks a lot. There are no carpets, all the floors are hard surfaces. A couple light bulbs did not work when we showed up. The sprayer in the shower does not have a rack to hold it; usually those are on the feeder line. The information packet that is on the table as you come in does not have the property address or how to call a taxi. The refrigerator opens on the wrong side. The kitchen cabinets are falling apart. For whatever reason, the silverware is not near the plates, it is on the other side of the kitchen. There are two toilets, but you cannot put toilet paper in the one next to the bedroom, so it is useless. The pillows are worthless.
The manager did not respond promptly to emails. I left a pair of shoes in the apartment by mistake, emailed, got a response that they found them, but they asked me to email my credit card information to them to send the shoes to me in the USA. I declined. I asked them for a phone number to call, got that, called perhaps ten times but nobody every picked up. By email I verified that I had the right phone number. My shoes must still be there.
