Before booking, I contacted the owners as the add stated “Ground floor apartment” and I needed to confirm that due to my mobility problems that I could get my small mobility scooter into the apartment. The owner confirmed there were TWO small steps into the apartment. In fact you entered over a large step, into the entrance, with SIX STAIRCASE steps in front of you to get into an inner firedoor to the apartment. Then a long corridor passed the main EN-SUITE bedroom, another bathroom and down a hall to the NON on suite bedroom, then back to the corridor with THREE further steps up to the lovely kitchen and then the lounge. We found the complex very noisy, heating/Air conditioning on student blocks surrounding the apartment constant, noise from early bin collection and collection of used bottles from the pizza place opposite horrendous. Vehicles entering and exiting through the entrance gate opposite lighting up the bedrooms, people talking until at least 03:30 even though the shutters were nearly closed, unbearable. Hence with no sleep for three nights we gave up and went home. We are in our seventies, and know we were visiting a “university city”, but….we were really looking forward to visiting this lovely city. Shame as the owners son, helped us move to the apartment after our paperwork confused us and we had entered and unloaded our car into another property! It didn’t start well and well, read above. Great place for hen/stag do’s, lots of shops, bars and chain restaurants,
