Villa Thea Front Beach
A great villa with good facilities, close to a very uncrowded beach and a very good restaurant. Far from the hustle and bustle, about 200 m from the sea, in an olive grove. The sunbeds on the beach could be used free of charge. We felt very comfortable. Kitchen appliances are very good, big fridge, air conditioning worked perfectly everywhere.
What was not so good: The sanitary facilities were disappointing compared to the price of the villa, the taps in the bathroom are outdated or once cleaned with acid. Under the sink in the kitchen the drain pipes are just stuck together, so every time the door was opened an immense stench came out of the cupboard under the sink. These things would have to be fixed, they are not worthy of the villa. About the internet, you would have to know that this is basically mobile internet, which is distributed via Wi-Fi (there is a card plugged into the box. So it's not DSL. But since the mobile internet in the area of the houses is very-very weak, it only works very poorly via Wi-Fi. Information about this would also have to be provided. These circumstances had a significant influence on the points awarded, because for this price one would expect the condition to be impeccable.
Not necessarily faults of the accommodation, but worthy of a note would be the ants that attack everything that is accessible, so that we even had to store our bread in the fridge. Only originally packed food could be left on the kitchen counter. Of course, no problem in principle if you are warned in advance.
