Nice accommodation, lacking in communication

Apartment was as described, beautiful quiet location, nice views, about 15-20 mins walk into holmfirth which was lovely. But communication from the owner is lacking, he did mention they were short staffed which I appreciate but no communication leaves you wondering what you’re supposed to do especially when it comes to getting your damaged deposit back.
