Best value if you're going to go to Jackson hole

This place is only 1 hour or less to Jackson hole. Plus the drive is amazing! We loved staying here and we'll seek to stay here again when we're back in Jackson hole. Forget those Jackson hole prices stay here instead!

Affordably priced for the area

1 hour drive from Jackson Hole and much more affordable. Older roadside Inn but well maintained. Online directions for access made check in easy. The restaurant below units rented for guests are a separate business.

Not comfortable

We stayed at this property for a night and it was not one of our best experiences. Firstly the property was overpriced considering the size. Secondly we saw reviews that the rooms were not very clean and still there was no effort taken to work on the negative reviews, we still saw cobwebs and the window screens and carpets did not look clean either. The air conditioner did not work properly and the shower was so small and dark thatbit would definitely pose a safety hazard for elder people.

Decent Place to stay in Swan Valley

The room is located in the back of a restaurant in Swan Valley. It was a little confusing when we checked in, but that's our own fault because we arrived after the restaurant closed. We were able to figure it out pretty easily once we were there. The room has an AC unit and a fan, which was very necessary with how hot it was.

Not quite 5-star.

I know the owners are trying to maintain a 5star rating, but I just can’t give that. The picture of the unit looks much bigger than it actually is. The shower stall was dark and shower faucet difficult to use. The bed slanted to one side. And, there were several cobwebs in the room.

Great location

Location was perfect for us visiting Grand Tetons and Yellowstone but getting far enough away from the traffic of Jackson Hole. The room was ok, shower needs so.e attention. gas & general store, small cafe nearby and the restaurant downstairs. The restaurant was closed while we were there. We would stay again just for the location.

Beautiful location and lovely restaurant and bar below!

This was a nice and rustic place to stay in beautiful Idaho! We enjoyed the room but would love more then just one pillow each next time. Some cobwebs in corners and mold in the shower though. The bar and restaurant were great downstairs! Overall we had a nice time and would stay again!

Convenient, Clean, Hassle-free

I've stayed here twice. The back entrance provides you privacy, as opposed to having to walk through the restaurant downstairs. Quiet enough--I only notice highway traffic noise, not any restaurant patron noise. A/C, TV, hot shower--all functioned. Place was clean as any hotel room. I'd stay here again.

Hungry hideaway

It was a comfortable place to stay but we wish there would have been a notice in the ad that the restaurant is closed all day Tues and Wednesday for breakfast. There is not much else around and there was no place to have dinner. Another restaurant near by was open in the morning but it was not very appealing. Also there were hidden charges over and above the price listed and I would have appreciated knowing the full price when I booked.

Swan Valley Roadhouse

Our stay was very nice. The property is very clean and well kept, and it is exactly as represented. It's small, but it's all you need in an area with so much natural beauty. We needed a place to crash and rest after touring Yellowstone and Grand Tetons and it was perfect.

No amenities

Very disappointed. Restaurant and lounge were closed. We had to drive 5 miles for dinner and beverages. No hangers in the room for clothes at all. No air conditioning, we slept with the windows open and traffic was noisy. We had to listen to a fan on the roof of the restaurant all night. I will never deal with Vrbo again.

Great location and charming little space.

Minor constructive feedback: the shower had been dripping for awhile, so the soap was mostly dissolved and pieces stuck to the shower floor. A spare blanket would have been nice. A TV in the bedroom would be nice.
