Run away!
This was the worst short-term rental stay I ever had. The owner provided neither Check-in nor Check-out instructions. The lock NEVER worked despite multiple messages. So, every day, we had to leave the house unlocked, or be locked out.
-There were no towels in the downstairs bathroom
-Why dilute the hand soap so it sprays on you? It's not expensive.
-A kitchen should be well equipped--especially one of this size. Shouldn't have to improvise to make it work. There were enough plates and cutlery for 4 people.
-There were no paper towels, sponge, napkins, or cutting board (the host did drop of paper towels after we requested)
- Total lack of knives to prep food, drinking glasses that are childproof-not only wine glasses
-there were dirty towels and a dirty drying rack in the kitchen
-stairs should be vacuumed,
-No instructions on either TV/sound system
The bathrooms don't have trash cans under the sink. Bathrooms should have toilet brushes. Air freshener, butt wipes, a safety kit would be reassuring. We love going to short-term rentals that have travel-sized things in case we forget to pack something. Even leaving some hairspray, earplugs, and lotion is really nice. It's that little bit of extra that we love.
Like any business you want to cater to your client if you want to excel. I honestly would not come back right now.
What we did love- the backyard was great for the kids!! The beds are very comfortable.
