The avenue of cypress trees (unpaved road for about 600 m) leads to the property, which is immersed in a large park with cultivated olive trees and is surrounded by an extensive field that has a charming view and total privacy. It has been recently renovated, creating perfect harmony between its modern comforts and its traditional antique furniture.

Villa Pieve is situated on the hills in the province of Pisa, around 13 km from the town of Pontedera, where all the necessary services (shops, banks, restaurants, and post office) can be found. Its location is particularly favourable; with the nearby motorway network you can easily reach the major cities of art and tourist spots in Tuscany (Florence 1 hour, Lucca 1 hour, San Gimignano 40 minutes, Pisa 25 minutes, Volterra 40 minutes, Siena 1 hour and 30 minutes). It takes only 30 minutes to reach Pisa International Airport.

The villa consists of a main building and a separate dependance. It can accommodate up to 14 people for a total of 8 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms (including 4 ensuite).
Main building: The main entrance is located on the ground floor of the villa. You are welcomed by a large living room with fireplace, sofas, armchairs and a small dining table.
Following a fully equipped kitchen with oven, microwave, coffee maker, refrigerator/freezer and toaster. The kitchen leads directly to the back garden and dining terrace.
There is also a dining room, a laundry room and a small sitting room.
A master bedroom with ensuite bathroom (with shower) makes the rest of this floor.
On the first floor you will find a living room with satellite TV and comfortable seating. Following the sleeping area divided as follows: 1 master bedroom (with king size bed, dressing room, ensuite bathroom with bathtub and shower); 1 double bedroom with ensuite bathroom (with bathtub); 4 bedrooms (2 doubles and 2 singles), which share 2 bathrooms (with shower).
Dependance: Opposite the main entrance to the villa is a separate dependance with a spacious double bedroom with ensuite bathroom (with shower).

Our Opinion
This is a classic Tuscan villa decorated with modern furnishings and is just perfect for big groups. The house which has been recently renovated is surrounded by a very well maintained garden with a large swimming-pool (open from mid-April to early October).
The property can only be booked from Saturday to Saturday (except in mid and low season).
