There’s something undeniably magical about the La Muette district of the 16th arrondissement – sandwiched between the picturesque Seine and the sprawling green Bois de Boulogne, with upscale boutiques and eateries in between – and this one-bedroom apartment lives up to its neighbourhood’s allure. With its spacious living room, vibrantly-coloured kitchen and sprawling private garden, there’s no shortage of things to love here.

This long, expansive room is packed with old-world charm mixed with modern finishes. As you enter, an enchanting sitting area welcomes you on the right: a plush sofa beckons you in for some relaxation after a busy day and can be converted to a queen-sized bed. Vintage armchairs surround it, all sitting on a rich Persian rug – and all in the light streaming in from the big sliding doors leading to the garden. On the other side of the room, the dining table is set for four diners and sits next to a large shelf system framing the door to the bedroom.
