The space
WELCOME TO THE GUSSETT FARM HOUSE
MILLIS GUEST SUITE

The Gussett was a dairy farm in the early 1900s, it has since been converted into a lovely single dwelling in a beautiful location.
The guest Suite is an annexe on the ground floor and is completely private with its own entrance and a locked door from the house -secure parking is on the drive at the house. There is also a lockable shed for bicycles.
Outside there is a private patio with table and chairs and a BBQ.
The kitchen is very well equipped for an air B&B, washing machine, tumble dryer, fridge and freezer and an oven.
The bedroom is very peaceful with a lovely view. It has a king size bed with a brand-new mattress and luxurious William Morris bedding.
The bathroom has a walk-in shower w.c. and basin.

Surrounding Area.

The Gusset Farm House is very central to both the A1 and A697.

The nearest village is Rothbury, approximately 4 miles away. The village is very picturesque good restaurants and 4 village pubs – it is a haven for walkers and cyclists exploring the cheviot hills and Simonside.
The national trusts beautiful Cragside is about a mile from the village and is very popular with tourists- beautiful lake side walk and coffee shop.

The popular market towns of Alnwick and Morpeth with fabulous restaurants, coffee shops and boutique shops are 25 minutes’ drive.

The jewel in the crown is the Northumberland coastline, there is so much to explore.
Spot puffins, seals and other marine life of the Farne Islands, visit Lindisfarne and then, before exploring Bamburgh Castle and beach in the afternoon.

Nestled in a picturesque landscape, surrounded by rolling hills and lush gardens, this charming cottage truly feels like a hidden gem. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by the owner, Michelle, whose hospitality made me feel right at home. With her genuine smile and thoughtful gestures, she went above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect. Michelle took the time to show me around the cottage, pointing out the cozy nooks and personal touches that made the space so inviting. The cottage itself is beautifully decorated, combining rustic charm with modern comforts. The fully equipped kitchen had everything I needed to whip up some home-cooked meals, and I particularly enjoyed my morning coffee on the sun-drenched patio, soaking in the breathtaking views of the countryside. The location is ideal for those looking to explore nature, with numerous hiking trails and scenic spots just a short drive away. Michelle even provided a detailed guide to the best local attractions and hidden treasures, which made my adventures all the more enjoyable. In the evenings, I appreciated the tranquility of the surroundings. The stars twinkled brilliantly in the clear night sky, and I could hear the gentle sounds of nature all around me. Highly recommend!
