The Neighborhood:
Pachi is a quiet village in western Attica, located in the area of ​​Megara, on the shores of the Saronic.
It has several shops that open in the morning like cafes and continue until the evening, turning into bars
Fresh fish is something that abounds in the area – giving, in turn, an excellent material to the many tavernas of the village.

In Pachi beach you can combine coffee, food and swimming, as it is a beautiful sandy beach with clear waters, which attracts families, couples, but also several groups.

However, consider that it is unorganized, so you will need to bring what you think necessary. It is of course worth taking a stroll along the rest of the village's seaside (the distances are short and easy to walk), especially in the picturesque port with the fishing boats and boats of the locals.

Getting Around:
Starting from the center of Athens, you will follow the road to Corinth and you will take the 2nd exit towards Megara and then turn left towards Pachi. You will reach the village within 35 to 40 minutes.

Alternatively, if you don't have a car, you can board the suburban train, taking the Piraeus-Kiato line. You will get off at Megara and from there you will take a taxi to Pachi (you will arrive in 7-10 minutes). Experienced hikers can of course also try to go on foot, as long as they calculate that the distance is 3.2 kilometers, so 6.4 on the way back. In addition to the suburban train, of course, you can also reach Megara with the Attica KTEL.
