Amazing family vacation!

Just got back from t to he best 9 days a family could ask for. Everyone had what they needed. Fun for everyone, dogs included. The kids and dogs loved running around the large property. The boys loved fishing from both docks. The weather could not have been better.

GREAT VACATION! This River Compound was a BiG FACTOR in our having a wonderful time.

Not sure what we expected .It was the TOP or our price range and must admit I have stayed at other places on the river (Parker Canals) in this price range with 4-5 bedrooms and much nicer inside BUT just like you can't compare apples and banannas... having your own private and secure compound complete w/ launch ramp, 2 large docks and plenty of places to park! Docks could be lite a bit better ( my friend broke her toe on the steps) A few cob webs kinda gave us the WEEBIES and for the price the owner should change out the bathroom door BUT... WE WOULD DEFINITELY STAY HERE AGAIN AND AGAIN AND AGAIN. My daughter asked if we can do this trip EVERY YEAR... I think we will if they will have us.

Excellent Location and Waterfront Property

The property owner was an excellent communicator and made for a seamless check in and check out. She was very responsive to any questions we had during our stay. I highly recommend this property for a family vacation at the Colorado River. Property includes access to boat ramp for easy launching dock, excellent fishing all around the property. Looking forward to coming back with my family.

Exactly what a river house should be!

Comfortable, cool, roomy, and clean. We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend at this cabin. If you’re looking for a fancy place, look elsewhere, but it was perfect for us! Can’t wait to come back and rent it again!

So relaxing..our own spot of paradise

What a great location, the quietness, the water right outside your door. It was so nice to grab a cup of coffee and sit out on the dock, watch the birds and the boats go by. House was exactly as described and well furnished.

Excellent get away!

We rented the property for a friend and family weekend getaway. The home is exactly what we were looking for. The launch ramp worked perfect for our 17 ft boat and our single jet ski, we used 4x4 to launch to make it easier to pull out because its loose gravel. The home is perfect just as described. The Manager was responsive and helpful. We will be back, wishing the home was our own :)

Enjoyed our stay very much. I love the fact that you get your own personal dock and ramp. Great location in Martinez Lake. Secluded from all the traffic but super close to everything. Definitely will stay there again!

Great property amazing location

Sounded to good to be true , 1/2 acre Property on river inlet, huge private dock, room for 4-5 cars and trucks to park 1 bed 1 full bath w living room for 3-4 more guests, good stocked kitchen bbq etc The main key for us, having a 23’ boat to launch is when a property owner says you can launch a boat on- siite , that’s factual. That wasn’t the case for us. The old dirt / gravel launch ramp was not in working order. I did get my Yamaha boat launched but barely got my empty trailer out without spraying hundreds of peat gravel into the Niegbors yard. We had to pick the boat up at fishers Landing at the end of our trip! They said they fixed the septic problem, as the home stank like a portapotty , otherwise we loved the house.... It’s an old home but if they fix the major problems with her, we’d consider renting again. The property is amazing... very secure.

Perfect little river house!

This river house was perfect for us! The location was tucked away and quiet, but close enough to the excitement at the river. We loved being able to dock our two boats for convenience purposes. The house was stocked with clean towels, and the AC/WiFi were strong. The new BBQ/smoker was just what we needed for our dinners as well. Lastly, Paula was extremely responsive and helpful whenever we had questions! We are already planning our next stay, and can’t wait to be back.

Beautiful River House!

Very impressed by this beautiful river house. My husband and I where extremely happy with our stay. We decided to rent a river house to celebrate my husbands birthday, which was the perfect idea. The house is perfectly set up and in the right location. Very peaceful we didn't want to leave. The house overall was excellent, extremely clean, fresh, and well-maintained. It made our trip so much fun! We will definitely come back soon.The Owner, Paula, is extremely helpful and kind. Communication was easy and friendly. Thank you so much... it was our pleasure to have been able to stay at this beautiful cozy home, that makes you feel like your own home.

Perfect river pad.

Love this little spot in the back of Martinez Lake. The house was very clean, had everything we needed. The boat dock was great. The surrounding area and water is so calm and nice to sit outside and enjoy the sunset!!! We will be back!

Paradise on the River

Wow. This property is really cool! It's at the end of the road on the north side of Lake Martinez. It's on a little lagoon that makes you feel like you are in the everglades. The house is behind a locked gate, making the property very secure. A large lot makes launching your boat, and parking your truck and trailer very simple. There is a very stable dock and a private launch ramp, which is a serious bonus. No long wait at the ramp! The house is freshly remodeled and has every amenity that you need to enjoy your stay. The bed in the master is awesome!!! My wife and I were accompanied by my 16 year old daughter and two of her friends. The house is perfectly set up for a couple and their kids. The kitchen is perfect. The bathroom is very nice. There is a single garage if you want to get your truck out of the sun. You can use their brand new BBQ/Smoker. (Propane tank was full, which is unusual for a rental.) The house is extremely clean, fresh, and well-maintained. The Owner, Paula, is extremely helpful, kind, and professional. Communication was easy and friendly. We can not wait to get back there.
