Cozy Lake Villa with Calming Terrace

Once featured on the cover of Das Ideale Heim, a Swiss lifestyle magazine, this Villa offers an authentic haven of tranquility and inspiration. After being a family weekend home for over 4 generations the premises were transformed into a warm, family friendly and energizing B&B with a unique location and history.

We have a total of 7 guestrooms and we offer many unique amenities such as a private beach and pool.

The story starts 80 years ago when our grand dad, a cheese producer and exporter from the Emmental region, was searching a holiday home. Being a passionate rower, he was on a mission to locate the most beautiful spot on the lake and ended up at the current location.

Which according to him had a view made from dreams, just across the small island and with a spectacular view on Rigi (known in Switzerland as the Queen of the mountains). With a boathouse and private beach directly at the lake he purchased a wooden motorboat which was one of the first on the lake of Lucerne and still in use today.

The Space:
This Villa is a large property with a boathouse, a lush large garden, private beach, a pool, boats (classic and sport), kayak’s, SUP’s and a hot tub. The villa has three floors with on the ground floor three guest rooms (with direct access to the garden/pool and view on the lake), a breakfast, kitchen and common area with terrace and fireplace. On the first floor we have another three guest rooms with two having an extraordinary view across the lake, the third room has a view on the Pilatus mountain. The bottom floor is in private use.

Room 1: ground floor, double bed with private shower and toilet
Room 2: ground floor, double bed with private shower and toilet on the same floor.
Room 3: ground floor, double bed with separate private bathroom (bath tub, shower double sink and toilet). Since this is a large room, we can add a travel-bed for a third person when needed.
