The cottage is an ideal base for discovering the Lake District’s gems, with Ambleside, Windermere, and Grasmere all within easy reach. Step into the magical World of Beatrix Potter, or seek thrills at Brockholes Activity Centre, home to zip-lining, treetop trampolines, and more. For breathtaking vistas, a short drive leads to Orrest Head in Windermere, offering some of the region’s most stunning panoramas. Upon entering into this delightful home from home you have plenty of space to kick off your boots and hang up your coats. Walk into the spacious conservatory next door and soak in the panoramic views. The lounge offers ample seating for six to get together and relax. Also on the ground floor, you can find the well-equipped kitchen, with everything you need to whip up a heart breakfast before a day of walking on the fells. The dining room is perfect for sitting down together after a days adventures. The WC and utility room complete the ground floor, equipped with a washing machine, dryer and sink for washing off those muddy boots or paws! Up a small set off stairs just off from the lounge is the first of the three bedrooms, a delightful king-size. Heading up to the main first floor you can find the other two bedrooms, a super-king boasting spectacular views towards the lake and another king-sized. Across the hall is a cosy study again with breathtaking views and a double sofa-bed for extra guests. The family bathroom completes the property, with a bath and separate walk-in shower. Outside is where this beautiful property comes into its own, with plenty of space to run around and play over the lawns or to dine al-fresco on the patio by the summer house, all whilst taking in the panoramic views of Lake Windermere. Parking can be found directly outside the property on the sloped drive.
