Comfortable Condo with lots of space

This condo had lots of space and the office was a bonus. It was fun to try out the Sleep Number bed in the main bedroom. We enjoyed time out on the porch area which was shaded from the sun. The condo is located in a quiet community of condos and houses. A car will be needed to get to the grocery store, restraurant or any other attraction.

Star Pass Saguaros

My wife and I enjoyed a week of exploring Tucson and watching some college baseball. This condo on the west side, in the Star pass area, is in a quiet neighborhood that is about ten minutes from downtown and U of Az. And about 15 minutes from the Kino Sports complex. Saguaro National Park - Tucson Mountain District is about a 20 minute drive west thru beautiful, saguaro-covered hills. My brother joined us for the last three days and the three of us were very comfortable, as it would be for two couples or a family of five. The complex is peaceful and quiet. We heard a few noises from neighbors, but nothing that bothered us and we slept great in the comfortable beds. A couple of friends came by and we enjoyed visiting and having wine on the back porch. There are numerous hiking trails nearby. We enjoyed the Rock Wren trail and the Starr Pass trail. We recommend this condo for its comfort and location, and also its host Doug. He is a great communicator and a very responsive host.

Great location

Nice neighborhood for walking. Can walk to the trailhead for Painted Hills. Quiet patio was great for reading. Arabic Express downtown was a friendly family restaurant with delicious food!

Nice comfortable stay

We were in town for exploring. This was a great place to access all we were doing in town. Out of the busy downtown area, but close enough the get where we wanted to go quickly. The house was clean and comfortable.

Desert resort

This is a wonderful property - plenty of space and nicely decorated. The location is perfect - a very short drive to Tucson and yet out of the city hustle and bustle.

Perfect spot for golfing and exploring Tucson

We spent a month at Starr Pass and really loved it. This condo has three bedrooms, a nice sized kitchen and patio. He has furnished it with high end pieces and even a sleep number bed! There are two great trailheads here that lead to any length of hike you want to take on through the beautiful dessert landscape. Tucson has great restaurants and Doug had a thorough welcome book with lots of suggestions. You will have a wonderful , relaxing stay here.

Enjoyed our stay

We found the condo tidy and furniture new and of good quality. The location was perfect for exploring South West Tucson, Tucson Mountain Park, and the downtown area. The condo windows face the street so there was quite a bit of street noise in the mornings and evenings, however, it was quiet at night and a retaining wall provided privacy. The assigned parking spot was a bonus. Good communication with the owner. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Great stay in Tucson!

Douglas was a extraordinary host, even getting me to the property late at night when I was lost. He was also terrific in communication before and throughout my stay, as well as providing other household needs, and a very sweet man to boot! The property was neat and cosy, with warm homey touches. A great bed, fireplace, bonus room, and access to the pool. Highly recommended.

Tucson Starr Pass Condomunium

We enjoyed this condo unit in the Starr Pass golf resort. The location is great for hiking in the local mountains and just a short drive to shopping and downtown. The unit is spacious, nicely appointed and super clean. We like to avoid stairs so being on the lower level was a plus. The location is quiet and there is a private outside patio. The host was always responsive and pleasant. Overall a very good value.

Tucson Condo at Beautiful StarrPass

This condo was wonderful. Very well appointed and in a great location for access to numerous golf courses, restaurants, and downtown Tucson. Doug, as the owner, has thought of everything a guest would need and/or ask about. The condo is very roomy and nicely equipped. All the furnishings are new and very comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and felt very much at home. Would definitely stay again!

A perfect getaway!

Lovely 2 bedroom condo that was perfect for our family of 3. All amenities were provided and the owner was in touch to make sure we had everything we needed. Conveniently located, close to downtown and basic shopping. All in all a great experience!

Great Location

Quiet property with a nice pool and hot tub. The condo is decorated tastefully and with the comforts of home. The sleep number bed was a great way to end a day of hiking and taking in the beauty of Arizona. The room darkening curtains allowed for the luxury of sleeping in. We could travel light as the condo had a full-size washer and drawer. This condo is near the JWMarriot and there is a nice sidewalk to walk or run to the Starbucks within the resort.

Highly recommended! More than we expected.

Very nice apartment in a golf resort, we found at arrival everything what we needed. Safe neighborhood, grocery shops down the street. Enjoyed hiking on the nearby trails (10 min from the app). Very caring owner! If again in Tucson would love to stay there again.

Condo meant our expectations

It was clean, well equipped with all the amenities of home, and in a great location. The condo was just a beautiful as the pictures displayed in the rental ad. The owner was very helpful and welcoming. Unfortunately, we weren't able to enjoy the pool and other facilities of condo complex because we were gone all day. Hopefully, we can enjoy the outside facilities when we return to Tucson for Olympic trials in 2 years. We look forward to renting this condo again.

Excellent condo - comfortable and welcoming

We really enjoy staying in Starr Pass. It is beautiful, quiet and excellent for access to hiking, golfing and cycling. It is fairly quick into downtown (10-15 minutes) and the surrounding desert is beautiful. This particular unit is very nicely finished and equipped - stylish furniture and decor, including nice decor touches with Pottery Barn / Crate and Barrel accessories, etc. The kitchen is well equipped with quality cookware and there is enough staples to ensure you don't need to buy salt/pepper/detergent/toilet paper etc (which drives me crazy in VRBOs when you have a short stay!). The beds and linens are luxurious and comfortable and the rooms are dark. It is a small walk to the communal pool and we really enjoyed meeting residents and visitors at the pool - everyone was very friendly. We will definitely plan to stay again. Doug sent clear instruction for arrival and entry into condo and responded quickly to questions.
