Perfect for two couples.

Two couples (no kids) and it was perfect! We flipped a coin to decide who got the KING bed(ocean view). Double bed room needs Darkening shades because the outside lights keep room too bright. Not able to turn off. Other than that… PERFECT all around. The campground next door was full of dogs to watch and quiet.

Wonderful condo for a relaxing vacation!

Walking into this condo I was struck at how clean and beautifully beach themed decorated it was. The owner clearly took time to create a pulled together space. The pictures we accurate and the condo was perfect for our family of 4, out 13 and 16 year old girls loved it! The shared the queen bed and had their own bathroom adjacent to their room. Our king bed master was great, loved the balcony access and natural light plus our own bathroom. We enjoyed watching movies in bed after a long day at the beach. There was Roku which included Netflix and other streaming services, Wi-Fi was problem free. The living area had a super cool sound bar set up that was fun to use to play music or for the TV. The view is nice, you can see the pool, ocean to sound side; there is a RV camp ground next door that was neat to watch the going’s on. Kitchen was well appointed with coffee maker, Kurig, nice pots, pans, dishes, flatware and storage containers. Will need to get salt/pepper, condiments, storage bags etc. Remember to bring your own paper products for kitchen and bath. The realty company does supply a few rolls of TP and paper towel, plus a sponge, small bottle of dish soap, hand soap and sanitizer. There is no close grocery store other than Dollar General, Wave Market, we didn’t realize that. This is a top floor, an end unit which is great, very quiet. The entry deck area has chairs as well with a view for sunset. To see the sunrise we had to go on the beach, it was beautiful!! We could tell how much pride the owner has in their condo and they truly thought of everything! We had no dealing with the realty company other than booking, since we had zero issues with the property. They did leave a nice welcome gift and card, thoughtful touch. Will stay again if we vacation in Rodanthe.

Rodanthe Respite & Retreat

We absolutely loved this location! Perfect for the 4 of us and would have comfortably fit 2 more! Loved the balcony and new furniture out there! I drank my coffee out there every morning and spent time there every evening. It was so quiet and peaceful! The unit is so pretty, beautifully decorated and well kept. It’s like being home but on vacation! It was our first time to stay in Waves, it was nice to kind of be in the middle because you are close to things to do in both directions! There are excellent restoring both directions and a fully equipped kitchen to cook anything you want! Super easy keyless entry! Would definitely stay again!

Wonderful place to stay in the Outer Banks with great views.

We had an absolutely wonderful time staying here in the Outer Banks at Resort Rodanthe. The views from the living room and bedroom were so nice. We loved the back deck accessible through either of those rooms double doors. The kitchen was very well stocked for cooking which we did everyday. The bed was comfy and loved it was a king. The TV and all technology was very up to date. The power went out one night for just 10 minutes or so as one might expect on an island with so much wind, but the backups kept the internet working. The beach access was an easy walk through the resort and though it was still cold the beach was beautiful. My husband especially enjoyed the master shower which had a very nice shower head and even though we are both young enough and able to get around the grab bars were still very handy. I noticed most of the furniture was basically new and some still had tags on them. The stacked washer and dryer were very convenient. Overall, the place was beautifully decorated, well equipped with anything you need to be comfortable and relaxed. The only issue we had the whole week was the lock on the door kept losing the code to get in the first couple of days but the company helped us work the problem and it was fine the rest of the week.

Nicely decorated and clean. FULLY stocked kitchen. Coordinations did contract through SurfOrSound was convenient. Great place, I’d love to stay again.

Great except for COVID.

Our rental was as advertised however the pool was closed due to COVID and no reimbursement or compensation was made even though having a pool was the only reason we chose this property. Also the blankets in the beds were marked as “not washed between stays”. That was a little disappointing especially during a pandemic. Otherwise the rental had everything you could need and was located in an area that allowed us to easily travel to different parts of the OBX.

Kurz, aber sehr schön

Eine sehr schön eingerichtete Wohnung. Leider durften wir sie nur zwei Tage genießen, da wir dann wegen dem Hurrikan evakuiert wurden. Wir werden aber bestimmt wieder kommen. Nachteilig für Gäste aus Übersee ist lediglich die Grundausstattung. Wir mussten sämtliche Handtücher und Bettwäsche mieten. Es waren keinerlei Gewürze, Spülmittel, Toilettenpapier, Waschmittel vorhanden. Nachdem wir einiges gekauft hatten, mussten wir leider abreisen.
