Outstanding

Great little property a couple blocks from town. Comfortable and well designed. Our favorite part was the wildlife in the yard. Birds, frogs, and a three toed sloth! If we ever make it back to La Fortuna, we’ll stay here! Mario and the crew were helpful and attentive.

Not what we expected but turned out fine & fun

We expected an Apartment and were a bit apprehensive when we didn’t receive check in information until the day of and then what we received looked industrial with gates and security and not what we would consider an apartment. Once we got them the instructions were clear. The house is a converted shipping container with a few pop out areas, very creatively designed with rustic fake wood touches and actually pretty cute with several sitting areas, a very serviceable small kitchen and comfortable king bed. The location was very good, just 2 blocks from the plaza with an excellent restaurant across the street and Italian food 1/2 block away. The best part though was the big old sloth that lives in the trees in the yard. It was very visible many times each day and very entertaining to watch moving around and even hanging by its feet high in the treetops. 5 stars for the Sloth!

This property is easy walking distance to shops and restaurants. Especially liked the Open Kitchen that was almost across the street

Absolutely amazing property and location. Quiet and secluded, this rental was a fantastic place to relax after driving through the countryside of costa rica. Property manager was easy to contact and very helpful.

Lovely space

Quaint and lovely space and perfect for our time. Host was very responsive. Hot showers and good water pressure. Great location that is walkable to downtown fortune. We had a great little porch to drink coffee in the morning and enjoy nature. We felt safe and had a great time. Would stay here again.

What a wonderful place to stay

My partner and I stayed for 4 nights in February 2023. The place was clean, quiet, and peaceful. Even though it was a shipping container it was roomy and perfect for 2 people. The king size bed was really nice. The jacuzzi tub was a nice addition. The kitchen was adequately equipped and we appreciated the coffee. We also woke up to hummingbirds and our own sloth! Walking distance to everything in town. Eder was great making arrangements for a couple of excursions for us.

The accommodation is a converted sea-can. It is very spacious and comfortable, private, safe and quiet. Easy walking to everything. The office staff are friendly and efficient, we booked all our tours through them. We would definetely stay here again.

Our stay in La Fortuna

Everything about this property was amazing except for a few items. The water heater breaker would flip during the shower so we would lose warm water during. The bathroom floor would semi flood during showers as well. The doors were closed during the shower so unsure how the water would get out. These were the only issues during our stay. The container was well kept, clean, beautiful backyard, tons of hummingbirds to look at and the space was hidden off the beaten path. Creating a hidden Oasis! Will definitely be back! Hopefully the water issues will get fixed if applicable.

Wonderful stay

We loved our stay in the cabina. Cozy and comfortable, close to el Centro, but the feeling of being remote. The jardin was visited by many birds, and the hummingbirds were a constant. There was a Sloth that liked to hang out in a tree on an adjacent property! Highly recommended!

The property is located just 3 blocks away from downtown La Fortuna, easy access to everything in La Fortuna. We bought this property about on 2019 and we were thinking what type of AirBnB we would like and we decide for a SUSTAINABLE OPTION, cheaper than a regular construction and we got TWO shipping containers and remodeled specially for couples or solo travelers, ending with two comfortable apartments close enough to downtown La Fortuna but far enough to rest from your daily adventures; this is Apartment 1. As you can see in the reviews it have everything you need for your stay in La Fortuna/Arenal Volcano area; fully equipped kitchen, high speed WIFI, air conditioning, safety deposit box, smart TV with Amazon Prime Video, private bathroom with hot water, beautiful gardens around the apartment, private parking, gated property with electric gate and this APARTMENT has an excellent Volcano view
