Secluded Cabin

Easy to find. Cozy accommodations. Great for porch-sitting and close to all our haunts in Brenham and Chappell Hill, and Antique Rose Emporium. Can’t wait to stay there again!

Fantastic house, great location

This red house in the town of Chappell Hill is so very charming! It is a great location in this small town. We loved the 1840’s style and the furniture was comfy, the beds comfy, and there were plenty of towels. Lots of seating areas, beautiful patio. The owner was extremely helpful, offering suggestions of activities and restaurants. We had actually booked the smaller cabin but she upgraded us to this four bedroom charm.

My new getaway

Very quiet and cozy. It felt like my place! Lots of land to explore. Great spiritual experience. The cabin has every thing you need. I was so sad to leave but real life was calling.

Quiet and Quaint

We loved the cabin. We were in for a football game and did not get to spend enough time to explore the beautiful natural setting. But on Friday night we loved sitting out on the lighted porch. The cabin had everything we needed. The bed was most comfortable and the linens were plush. A+++

Study Retreat

I don't know how you capture this kind of beauty in pictures...many/many 150-250 year old live oaks scattered throughout (truly God's artwork at its finest). Perfect for our study weekend, secluded in nature. The cabin was so inviting & Tina was a wonderful hostess. Thank you for sharing yr little slice of heaven w/us. Barbara.

Very peaceful, property was beautiful. There were lots of little touches to the cabin, even fresh picked flowers . I Loved the walking trails and blue bonnets. The close proximity to driving to a lot of historical sites and views.

Great getaway for a break from all the Hussle!

My husband and I were looking for a few days away to celebrate his birthday while decompressing. This cabin was perfect! Gave us the feeling of being just us with nature but still within driving distance of local events in town. It was the best of both worlds! We could either venture outside to do some walking the spacious land, stay in and enjoy all the great movies available or check out the town! Host was extremely thoughtful in letting us know about local events, answered all our questions quickly and made sure we were comfortable! Definitely will come back!

Lovely, peaceful weekend

The cabin is spacious and very comfortable. The gas grill worked very well for our first night's dinner. Everything we needed was readily available. The wooded area has been cleared just enough for nice walking, with deer, armadillos, coyotes and many birds to see. Very private and quiet. Close enough to visit sights in Brenham and Independence easily.

Excellent get away spot!

The place was great. Just the right size for three old friends to get together and hangout. Plenty of privacy and quiet, but close enough to town if you need to go get something. The AC does the job well as we stayed on two of the hottest days of the year and were very comfortable. Would highly recommend.

Peaceful location for a get-away

We had a wonderful time at this property for a sisters' weekend. It was very inviting to arrive and see the twinkle lights on the front porch, Christmas music playing when we opened the front door, and the mock-old-fashioned heater (electric) was glowing. All the amenities were there, beds were comfortable, lots of movies available so of course we did a Hallmark Christmas movie marathon! Tina is very responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. The property is very pretty with old oak groves, several walking trails and lots of peace and quiet. We relaxed in the chairs on the front porch. We're already planning our next sisters' weekend for the spring!

Mom and daughters trip of cabin in the woods.

This was an awesome place to stay. Very secluded, but comfortable. Beautiful property on the outside. Lovely cabin inside and out. You can tell the owners put a lot of thought into the comfort of their guests.
