Hej och välkommen till mitt vackra Vancouver hem! Om du planerar att stanna i Vancouver, och letar efter ett obefläckat utrymme med gott om utrymme, kan du ha hittat det. Mitt tre sovrum hus ligger i Renfrew-Collingwood-området på östra sidan nära Victoria Drive.
Fastigheten har ett transitpoäng på 84, kort promenad till många stora buss- och tåglinjer, som Expo Line och Millenium-linjen. Detta gör att du enkelt kan komma åt och utforska andra områden i Vancouver. Varje grundläggande ärende kan uppnås till fots, och detta område är ett cykelparadis, omgiven av parker.

The facility was not clean. There was dirt and dust in the corners of each room, the light fixtures were filthy, the window sills were thick with dust and dirt, there was mold/mildue in the shower, on bathroom counter tops, and kitchen sink. The shower head was broken and duct taped together and the kitchen sink faucet was patched up also. The blinds were broken in the living room and filthy in the bedrooms. Response time from the owner was slow for basic information and we were not given adequate linens and towels...6 for 7 people, no sheets and blanket for the seven adult. When requested, received no verbal answer nor were we provided needed items.

3 bedrooms luxury unit on Vancouver's east side

There were 7 of us who stayed in this house for 7 days except for 1 person who only stayed for 4 days. The owner was very friendly and welcoming. She provided us what we needed in our rooms. She even went out of her way by giving us a couple of free meals which was not part of the package. The meals was very delicious. Also, she provided us an extra fan as there was no aircon in the house. The house is roomy for 7 people and there was not too much traffic noise. The only issue we had was that there were no window screens in the master bedroom and ensuite bathroom. Overall, our experience was very good. The location is close to restaurants on Kingsway and few minutes travel to the downtown area.

DO NOT STAY HERE

If cleanliness is even a little important to you, this rental is not an option! From the exterior, the house looks fine. But no where in the description did it say this house was split and you would be staying in the upper part of the house. The house you’re staying at requires unlocking another door on the interior which is also fine. However upon entering the front door you’re greeted by tons of shoes. You almost feel like you’re trespassing into someone else’s house. The biggest issue with this house is it’s not clean, like at ALL. Every surface looks dirty - light switches, mold in bathrooms, black gunk all around the sinks, looks like something died in the freezer. The only shower in the house has a DIY fix with duct tape. Except it’s not fixed, it’s just dangling there - broken. Besides the broken shower head, black mold all around, the owner also has all their personal shampoo bottles, razors, loofahs in the shower. Again, you feel like you’re intruding on someone else’s space. One of the beds did not have pillow cases for the pillows. All beds had stray hairs on the bedding. It makes you wonder if they actually washed or changed the sheets in between previous and new renters. In general, I did not want to touch anything - especially in the bathroom and kitchen. The house description says “immaculate”, am I missing something here? The best way to describe this house is crashing at your college kid’s apartment - it’s a place to stay but don’t expect much. There are twinkle lights and LED strip lights everywhere, bulk size bag of red solo cups on top of the kitchen cabinets and music equipment in one of the bedrooms. My guess is this is the party house when not being rented out. Owner should get their rental professionally cleaned before allowing more people to rent it. Or they should update their description because there was nothing luxury or immaculate about this place.

Very dirty

Cindy was very nice, tried to accommodate us. The place had a nice set up and view of the mountains. Would be ideal If the place was professionally cleaned and they took out their personally belongings especially in the refrigerator and shower. It was extremely dirty, the freezer was so gross, moldy bathroom and cobwebs & dust everywhere. There is a great incline in the driveway and then you have to carry up your luggage up a lot of steps.
