Great location for “basecamp” for excursions to Mt Washington, Littleton, Mt Lafayette. Tons of great hikes close by. Quiet property, clean, great morning views. Outstanding extended weekend.

A notch above…

This was a great place for the six of us to enjoy the white mountains. House was well located for getting to many locations for our hiking. House was clean, well supplied, and a great set up of bedrooms and bathrooms. A beautiful view of the mountains from the outside deck where we could also enjoy the night stars.

5th Summer In A Row!

Our family has come to see Franconia Range view as a summer tradition. The location, views, privacy and peace and quiet cannot be beat. We love hanging on the deck, hiking out back to the river, or taking a ride to the many nearby attractions to have sum fun or enjoy nature. Some upgrades that would make this a 5 star property would be shades in the sleeping areas (sun kept the kids up at bedtime), a new dishwasher, and while an expensive addition, some mini split AC's as it can get really hot in this house in the summer.

Franconia log cabin review

Very nice, private and quiet location. Convenient to Littleton and Franconia Notch. Cabin is nice and clean plenty of room. If you want a peaceful location near Franconia this is worth it. Note only issue is internet is not good - I could barely get online. Cell service is ok so you can outline via phone.

Weekend in Franconia

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location, very comfortable. Nothing negative to say about the lodge. That being said, given the price, one would expect services similar to a hotel (complementary shampoo, clean up, ...).

Great Place

This is a well furnished Ski Cabin and summer vacation home. It has a great kitchen and gorgeous views. It has 2 nice bedrooms sleeping loft and a walkout dormitory with multiple convertible sofas. The entire interior is knotty pine. Negatives are, somewhat poor insulation, lack of any window shades, some difficulty with temperature control in different levels. Generally very satisfactory and we had a great time.

Fraconia Rental

It is a lovely cabin in the middle of nowhere, perfect if you like hiking or snow sports. Cons: the cabin had a few dead bugs and some dog nose prints on some of the windows, the wifi connection was terrible, not much to do around town, and the couches were uncomfortable and outdated. Pros: beautiful wood stove, great getaway to relax and disconnect, close to hiking trails, close to ski/snow sport spots, the cabin overall was gorgeous, it was very roomy and had free wood if you wanted to start a fire. Overall I would rate it 4/5 stars, thank you for the great stay!

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved the view, satified with how clean it was,and loved the location to things we wanted to do. It needs a dehumidifier in the basement, had a faint propane sent near stove, and needed insulation to sound proof it better. Internet ws not available upon arrival and no one got back to us till my husband made a trip to office personally after 2 days of calling. Office didn't respond to calls.

Great November Stay in Franconia

The house was wonderful. It is tucked in the mountains and has great views. The number of bedrooms and bathrooms accommodated our large family. It was close to hiking spots. The town of Franconia is like a Norman Rockwell painting. Our stay provided a nice get a way from life.

Beautiful location

Beautiful cabin in a great location for hiking. We loved dining at the local inns and Franconia center is only three miles away with more restaurants and a fully stocked grocery store. Highly recommend this property - amazing views for your morning coffee.

An amazing time!

Myself, my mom, my kids and a couple friends and two of her kids, had an absolutely amazing stay at this wonderful home. It is exactly as advertised! Clean, quiet, and absolutely exceptional views! It was well stocked with everything we needed, and prompt help was available for any concerns we had. I would say the only drawback was that the furniture was pretty uncomfortable. As a landlord myself I completely understand not wanting expensive furniture, but it’s worth noting if anyone in your party has back problems, as one in mine did, be ware of the couch! This small concern did not take away from the overall wonderful experience of our stay, and we would love to return!

A vacation home we would like to return to.

The cabin is exactly as described. It's super clean. The kitchen is well equipped with two refrigerators. A new propane tank was left at the grill. The linens and towels are hotel grade. Having washer and drier is convenient. The deco is well thought of. - There are no locks on the doors, only latches. You can't lock the bathrooms or make the staircase child proof. - The mattresses are a bit too soft. - The lighting could use a complete makeover. LED light bulbs and new control knobs are needed. Those incandescent light bulbs heat up the room like furnaces. We were also very impressed with the services. A local team texted us upon our arrival. A real person answered the phone when we called maintenance late at night. The local team was notified and showed up the next day to work on the problem. They stayed in touch and did everything in their power to make our stay comfortable. We would not hesitate to rent another vacation home from Vacasa.

Perfectly awesome!

This was our third time visiting this home, and we already have our fourth visit planned. This home was quiet and tranquil. It was just what we needed and a vacation. Our three-year-old really enjoyed walking the trails behind the house to the river to play and cool off. The location is just close enough to everything that far enough away to feel like you are in the middle of nowhere. Can’t wait to return.

Amazing weekend

We had an amazing “girls weekend”! The views were incredible, the house was very clean and had almost everything we needed. The local attractions are great, we spent the day at Echo Lake in Franconia, which is about 10 mins away. Littleton is a close drive for take out. We will absolutely be staying here again!

Awesome place to stay!!!!

Amazing place!

If you are looking to get away from the daily grind, look no further! This place is immaculate, serene and very comfortable. I have a very high stress job, love the outdoors and wanted to forget about it all for a few days. My son and I had great hikes every day. Only thing to note is that the internet is VERY slow. Wasn’t a bad thing when the office could not find me but when I wanted to watch a movie, it was painful. Small price to pay for such a great experience.
