Kabinen ligger på en 160 hektar stor arbetsranch. Beläget mitt i flera bergskedjor och nationalparker, är detta din bas för obegränsad bergseventyr. 20min. väster om Golden, BC. Vi har ägg och fläsk för närvarande tillgänglig på begäran. Wi-Fi är inte tillgängligt på grund av vår fjärranslutna miljö.

A perfect slice of heaven!

Quiet, secluded and so well thought out! Nestled in the woods and just a short jaunt to town with so many back roads to explore! We head no idea how beautiful the Blaeberry River was until we crossed it driving up to the cabin. This was the perfect jumping off point to Radium Hot Springs, Yoho, Banff and even Jasper parks... Provided you enjoy stunning views along the way. The cabin itself is absolutely amazing! Comfortable, cozy and plenty spacious. The wood burning fireplace quickly erased any chill inside and was wonderful ambiance. The kitchen was great for nights when we felt like eating in and enjoying some down time. Couch, chairs and beds are all quite comfy and the art, decorations, quilts and blankets really made it feel special. Everything worked well and was very clean. We would absolutely love to stay here again.

News Years Get Away

We all loved staying in the Rooster Cabin - I love how it’s at the end of a road and all the windows look out on the woods and fields - it really is a get-away from it all. Loved the comfortable beds and decor and wood burning fire and all the firewood avail for us to use. Thanks so much - we will be back

Cute house but not good for a long stay

My husband and I wanted a home base to hike all the surrounding national parks. This cabin is 20 minutes from Golden which is the town we relied on for essentials. The place is cute and we liked the back area that faced the forest. Unfortunately, coming from the states we didnt realize cell service would be spotty or non existent outside of large towns so we struggled with no wifi at the cabin. We also had a huge issue with flies. We couldn't figure out how they got in the cabin because we always kept the doors closed per the instructions regarding mice getting in if left open. Our only thought was maybe the composting toilet (which we found out was like a hole in the ground with a seat and sliding lid) was allowing them access. There were no closets which meant we lived out of our suitcases for the 8 days there and the kitchen was missing dishes for oven use so without a microwave we struggled to do meals there. If you're staying over a weekend and planning on all your meals out, then the kitchen has the basics. We did enjoy the wood burning furnace and the barbeque which really helped our meal planning. In our opinion, this place is probably best for short weekends. Our stay was just too long.

Rooster get away

Had a fantastic stay… close enough to amenities to show our guests both in town and backwoods, a bit up the mountain at the end of the road. Our hosts were very available to help, but respected our privacy 😊

Mountain cabin near Golden, BC

This is a great place! The 6 of us loved the cabin and would highly recommend to others who want a secluded place to stay with all the comforts of home. The fire pit was a nice place to relax and the hosts are easy to deal with and were very helpful and accommodating. Highly recommend this place!!!

Rooster cabin

Wonderful Wonderful wonderful! Perfect blend of luxury and wilderness. Cabin was very clean and maintained a rustic feeling although it had modern amenities. Comfortable furniture, especially the beds. The cabin stayed cool on a 27+C day which was a pleasant surprise. Sitting around the fire pit was a nice way to end our days. The hosts were very responsive to my questions.. I highly recommend this property.

Winter Hideaway

Loved our stay again this year! The addition of the fire pits is a nice touch, and makes it even more enjoyable to stare at the stars in night sky on a clear night. Love this cozy place and already talking about coming back again.

Great location, very nice cabin!

This is a great cabin to use as a home base. The kitchen was well stocked, the beds were comfortable, and the area was close enough to the highway for convenience but far enough for privacy and quiet.

Great Getaway

Great place to get away for a few days. About 15 minutes outside of Golden so it's far enough to get away from crowds but close enough to get into town when you need to. Cabin was very clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. We'd be happy to stay there again.

So Good for some Unplugged RnR

We absolutely loved our stay at this cabin, especially in the middle of winter. So cozy with the fireplace going, and a good book in the recliner. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and are already talking about when we can come back again.
