Great stay

We were in the area visiting family and this was a great place for us to stay. The beds were comfortable and internet worked great for our needs. Communication with the owner was easy and got a fast response on everything.

Herman's the best

Communication with the property manager was awesome. Herman and his crew went out of their way to ensure we had EVERYTHING we needed and then some. They even made sure I received a valentine card from my grand kids. Loved the house.

Great Location

Comfortable home conveniently located with lots of beach items on hand to use - beach toys, chairs and sun shade tent. The kid's car booster seat was a plus - we forgot ours. The screened in patio was a treat.

home had mostly everything you need in the kitchen, bathrooms, contact with owner was spot on. restaurants and shops all close by, only complaint is there is no cable, or BBQ . overall stay however was perfect!

Great for two families to share!

We had four adults, two preteens, and two young children, and it all worked out well. The house has ample room and furnishings for everyone. The owner is a good communicator and was available when we had questions. They had coffee, toiletries, and items for the kitchen to make it easy. We'd certainly stay again!

Nicely situated and clean. Check in process was easy. Owner was responsive. Only issue was the stove vent fan was not working, otherwise, exactly as described. Would be happy to rent again next time I am in the area.

The property is everything expected, true to pictures. However there were surprises that were frustrating. The owner communicated via text messages rather than through the Vrbo platform. When we arrived there was confusion and delay in accessing the door code because it wasn’t communicated through the proper channels. Preparing dinner the first night was difficult because one of the main lights in the kitchen wasn’t working. It took 48 hours for someone to come see about it and in never was repaired. We learned through happenstance reading a list of house rules in an inconspicuous spot that we were not to put toilet paper in the toilet. This condition was not listed in the description of the property and would have been a deterrent to our rental as we have two small children and two adults with Crohn disease in our party. Disposing of paper in the open wastebasket in the bathroom was highly unappealing. We ran out of paper products 2 days in. Paper towel was located in the garage but someone has to come retrieve more toilet paper roll for us from underneath a disabled vehicle in the garage. The tables were bare of covering. We had a party of 6 with 2 children and had to run out on our first day to buy tablecloths. The owner assured us there were placemats. After a few days we located 4 of them in an unused cupboard. Despite that we enjoyed the layout and the amenities of the space.

Well appointed, clean, open, great location

The rental is well appointed, kitchen, bathrooms, etc. The space is open and roomy, with sliding glass doors to screened patio providing lots of light. The location is great, with spermarkets and other stores a short walk, and right off major roads. I would definitely want to stay again with family.

Centrally located and super convenient!

We have been fortunate to have rented this property for the past several years’ vacations. It is very convenient to everything, while keeping us away from the touristy crowds. I like that you can walk just a few yards to CVS. We always end up needing something and it’s so convenient. The location of the house makes it a much more relaxed vacation. We enjoy taking the ferry to an island for the day, and coming back to the house where it is nice and quiet, or driving to check out various beaches. We also like the sponge docks at Tarpon Springs, and walking around Dunedin. The house itsself is absolutely fantastic for multiple people, due to the separation of bedrooms & bathrooms. Beds are comfortable. Great to have ceiling fans in so many rooms too. The kitchen layout is nice and open, and lots of places to prepare meals or store snacks. We especially like the big toaster oven to quickly heat up food without having to heat up the big oven. It seems like every time we stay, there are minor things added or improved that just make it even better. The owners are very detail oriented and it is well kept and always clean! We like that it feels like “home” when we go on vacation. There is no noise of a busy beach hotel, and guests that slam hotel room doors or talk loudly in the hallway at 2am. The neighbors have always been very quiet, no loud vehicles, etc. As always, the owners are terrific and very accommodating. We love staying here.

Would Rent Again

This property is described well in the listing. It is minutes from Honeymoon island, which was our favorite beach, even over the “main” Clearwater beach. Herman’s check in process was a breeze, and was helpful keeping us informed of possible impending weather. The house is equipped with everything you need for a beach trip! Beach towels, they have it. Beach tent that we forgot, yes, they had that too. Along with beach chairs and toys for the kids. The only thing missing from the house was an outdoor grill, but I only say this for future guest because I don’t know if we would have used it. We just happened to notice there wasn’t one when we planned our meals. I would absolutely return to this home again when we return. We loved the area. So many places nearby within a mile such as Dunkin, Publix etc. My son kept his gym routine at Planet Fitness within walking distance. There is a 24 hour CVS, which is nice in case anyone would need anything around the clock. If you’re looking for a place in the middle of everything you need, and close to the beach, this place is your place.

Family trip with 3 year old and 9 month old

My family and I had an amazing 8 nights in Clearwater staying in this rental. It was extremely clean, and everything you could need was available there for you, and labeled with cute stickers so it’s all easy to find. The breakables are secured to the walls and makes for a great place for kids along with the fenced in yard and screened in patio. We used a diaper genie to accommodate the inability to flush toilet paper (common in many FL homes, btw) and it wasn’t an issue at all. Herman was just very easy to get ahold of and was awesome with recommendations. Planning on staying here yearly. Thanks again!!

Family Wedding

Property owner was responsive to questions and offered suggestions for things to do. Property was clean with sufficient amenities. Area was quiet with beaches in short driving distance. Would stay here again!

Clearwater in February

Property was spacious and plenty of room for 2 people. We had 2 guests for 2 nights and plenty of room for them too. The negatives were a tiny bathroom off the master. We are used to a king bed and the largest here was a queen. Located near 2 busy roads we were always aware of traffic noise and probably heard sirens 5 or 6 times a day. We had no problem but if you wanted to utilize the unit fully with 4 or more the hot water heater might not keep up? (36 gal tank) Upon arrival we could not figure out the TV. Called the owner and he said it was only antenna service. Within 4 days he had a streaming service installed in the living room only. The bedroom TV's remained antenna service. Overall the host was responsive to our questions. Overall it was a good experience.
