Vår välskötta, autentiska timmerstuga ligger på en lugn och privat 1. 5 tunnland mycket i den barnvänliga och gated, semester gemenskap i Big Bass Lake. Vår högt rankade guldstjärniga gemenskap har tre orörda sjöar, en uppvärmd inomhus- och utomhuspool, ett nytt klubbhus med ett spelrum, tennis, snöslang, skidåkning, skridskoåkning, basket, vandring och många planerade sociala, konst- och fritidsaktiviteter aktiviteter för barn och vuxna. På sommaren finns det en tennispro och badlektioner. Samhället är tillräckligt nära stora attraktioner i Poconos (Mt Pocono, Family Fun Center, Camelback / Camelbeach och Premium-butikerna för att nämna några), femton minuter från Scranton och Montage Mountain, en nyrenoverad skidort. Om du känner för att bo i eller inte göra någonting alls, sitta och koppla av på verandegången, njut av vår gratis Wifi eller smart TV!

stay at the cabin

we really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. it was very cozy, we loved everything of it, particularly the upstairs where we spent some table games time as a family. we will definitely como back in the summer.

Cozy Rustic Cabin

We very much enjoyed our stay. We had family at another home in the resort so it was very convenient. The owner was very attentive and responsive to any questions we had before and during our stay.

Lovely cabin for a fall escape

Nice little cabin on a quiet road. This was a great getaway for my wife, dog and myself. Thought it was a little closer to the lake but it wasn't very far of a drive to get to one. The wood stove was nice and came in handy!

Cozy Log Cabin

It was our oldest son's birthday weekend and he always enjoys getaways to the Poconos. Our usual spot was booked so we happened upon the Vrbo page. This cabin is all that it says it is. Our host Jennifer was great from the initial reservation to check out via email and text message. If your looking for peace and tranquility along with recreation spots close by, you'll have it here.

Wyoming log cabin charm a short drive from NYC

Property owners were very pleasant to work with. All instructions were well presented and left no room for additional questions. This home is the cutest looking in the entire neighborhood. The experience is what you would expect from a remote cabin in Wyoming. The place is very clean and the layout allows for a family to have some relaxing time downstairs while one of the parents works in a very nice set lounge on the second floor. We had wonderful time! Many thanks!

Family Getaway

We really enjoyed our short stay at the Cozy Little Cabin. Everything was clean and as described in VRBO. Owner was sweet as can be answering all questions we had beforehand. She is even helping me to get back items I left there. My husband and I stayed with our 18 year old son and his 18 year old best friend. It rained most of the time we were there but we had a ball hanging inside playing board games and sitting under the covered porch. The boys loved hanging in the loft. It was exactly what we needed before both boys head off to college.

Last Minute Booking was a Success

As the title says, had last minute availability come up in my schedule so I decided to take the family on a four day, three night vacation. Googled "popular east coast lake vacations" and this area came up. A quick VRBO search and I found this listing. On paper, everything looked like it met our needs. Once booked, the host reached out and was pleasant to talk to. She answered all questions I had about activities for a young family to do in the area. The cabin itself was a wonderful experience. My kids here-in referred to the house as "the wood house" and loved playing in the loft. Outside a firepit and porch furniture/swings made for a pleasant experience. The community the house is in was great with multiple lake spots, a pool (must pay for passes separately), and playgrounds.10/10 would recommend and will be back in the future for sure.

Beautiful private log cabin

The cabin was perfect! Set back from the road, it us very private. Very clean and comfortable. Jennifer has someone come to mow the grass, so the grounds of her cabin are very well kept. The decor was very charming. I couldn't find one thing that wasn't perfect about this lovely cabin and I've stayed in 13 or so over the years. This was the nicest one I've ever had the pleasure if staying in. There was a huge storm during our stay and Jennifer even checked in to see if everything was ok. The association is on point with maintenance...several trees had fallen, blocking the road and as soon as it was safe, they immediately cleared them. The lakes are stunning and the pool is nice. The indoor pool wasn't open, but that's not a big deal. Both Lackawana and Gouldsboro State parks are minutes away and beautiful. Be sure to carry out anything you carry in including dog "stuff". Please don't leave that. To wind up this long review, this cabin was everything and more than I hoped it would be when we booked it last October. Thanks Jennifer for opening your home to us.

Cozy log cabin

We enjoyed our stay. The place was very cozy. The house waswarm and welcoming. Maybe my fault, guests should bring everything. Dish towels, hand towels or lots of paper towels, soap, a fireplace lighter, a large pot if cooking for more than 2 or making soup or pasta, and a Duraflame log because the logs outside were damp. Be sure to bring your own blankets because what was there was musty. We didn't use the very convenient washer or dryer. The TV had Netflix but we couldn't stream anything else. The cable channels were minimal. The area was convenient to shopping, restaurants, etc. and there was one guard, a woman, at the gate who was a wealth of information. We had a really great time.

Great Time Away

Summer get away

The cozy cabin, it’s very cozy, good location and good condition. Kitchen needs a little upgrade with utensils, beds were not very confortable however the most disappointing thing didn’t have a fire pit, I rent cabins every summer and this is the first time it happens, the truth I didn’t look because I assumed that should have one. We bought one and left it there so the host can offer it to the next guest . Anyway Jennifer was very nice and also was there to respond to all my questions. We had a great time with the family.

Cozy weekend getaway

This was a perfect weekend getaway in the Poconos for our family. Cute log cabin (kids loved it) located in the lovely Big Bass Lake community. Conveniently located close to Big Bass and Larsen Lake, as well as Tobyhanna State Park. We had a fun 4th of July at Big Bass Lake.

Perfect Getaway Cabin

This is the perfect little log cabin, nestled on a beautiful secluded lot. The cabin is well maintained and was super clean! The host made us feel welcome before even arriving at the property. It was the perfect getaway location, and we absolutely loved staying here.

Beautiful Birthday Getaway

My husband planned this birthday getaway for us and it was great, able to get the peace and quiet that was needed away from the busy world. The cabin was just as we expected, very clean and nestled away perfectly giving us some much needed time together just the two of us. Kitchen exceeded our expectations, we brought along some things just in case but it really had everything that you would need. This would be great for 2 couples and even if you wanted to bring a few children. The loft area was nice to sit and watch tv or for a nap. We wanted to go snowtubbing which wasn't too far away but unfortunately, it was sold out. Before we left we were already talking about another trip up for thats how much we enjoyed. Reached out to the owner, she got right back with us, we really appreciated that and look forward to working with again. This cabin is definitely nice. We definitely look forward to staying again.

Wonderful Cozy Cabin

We stayed in this cozy cabin for two weeks in December, and it was a perfect getaway. We loved the Franklin wood burning stove, and the loft upstairs was a great place to nap. We were able to enjoy a nice snowstorm, and the driveway was plowed for us the very next day. The dog loved it too, especially taking walks and seeing all of the deer. We definitely plan to rent this cabin again next year!
