Vår vackra lägenhet har utsikt över de stora kaskade vattenfallen i den stora varvets pool och spektakulära Arubain solnedgångar kan ses från våra fönster och uteplats. Njut av det lugna ljudet av handflatorna som blåser i vinden medan du dricker pina coladas och planera din nästa dag. Vi är belägna 1/2 mil från Palm Beach, höghushotellcasino och prisbelönta restauranger. Njut av din dag på stranden, jetski runt det vattenfärgade havet, eller kanske du vill boka en golfdag, vi ligger bara 1 mil från 18-håls golfbanan Tierra Del Sol.
Enheten är 1 sovrum fullt möblerad, luftkonditionerad och kan sova 4 personer. Köket är fullt utrustat. Njut av DVD-skivor eller Netflix eller 1000-tal online-val på 42-TV: n eller bara luta dig tillbaka och lyssna på musik på stereon. Enheten har också obegränsad höghastighetsinternet, precis i enheten. Enheten har en mycket plysch lyxig king size-säng.

Massor av saker att göra i Aruba: Det finns vattensporter bås längs stranden om du vill snorkla, dyk, vindsurfa, båtliv, djuphavsfiske etc. Om du har din egen snorkelutrustning finns det många platser du kan gå och snorkla på egen hand. Malmok Beach och Arashi Beach och längs detta område är platserna att snorkla. Många åker också till Baby Beach i andra änden av ön för att snorkla.

Alla stränder i Aruba är offentliga. Du hittar många platser längs stränderna med kojor och du kan använda dessa och ta några badlakan etc.

Kasinon ligger i alla större hotell: Westin, Radisson, Hyatt, Marriott och centrum i Oranjestad, The Crystal och Seaport Casinos. De är öppna till morgonen tidigt. Butikerna i Oranjestad är stängda på söndagar. Livsmedelsbutikerna är öppna på söndagen, men bara en halv dag. Vi har en liten mataffär mittemot Wacamaya, som heter Ting Wei. Det är öppet mån-lör från 8 - 9 och på söndagar till 18:00.

2nd trip to Aruba

This was our 2nd time in Aruba and first time at this vrbo. Everything is just as it appears and the location is simply great. You are close to restaurants, grocery and the beach. The condo is great and we love the small balcony over looking the pool area.Highly recommended!

Enjoyed everything about this condo

Condo is very nice. It had everything my husband and I needed except, would of liked a washer and dryer. It had 2 beach chairs, a cooler and two beach towels which were so helpful traveling from Ohio. The patio is beautiful to enjoys mornings and later evenings. Enjoyed the beautiful pool as well. We rented a car and beaches, restaurants, casinos and nightlife are all an easy drive. We had a small issue with the lock box and ceiling fan but the owner took care of it ASAP.

2nd time at Wacamaya

Love this property. It’s perfect for us. We aren’t really foodies and would rather spend our money seeing sights or shopping(wife only!). About 8 minutes to Palm beach, property is beautiful and in safe area. You will need a car but parking is plentiful

The property was as advertised. The owners were extremely helpful with any issues. Nice pool. If you rent here, follow the welcome package the owner will send you as opposed to the VRBO instructions.

My wife and I had a great week in Aruba staying here. Met many really nice people around the pool, had total flexibility, and the condo was great. Even had friends over for dinner and just chilled. Thanks Dave and Anita.

AC problems

The apartment was comfortably furnished. Pool was nice. Some of the property information was misleading: there was reference to watching all the free Netflix movies you wanted to, but when we got there found that was only with your personal login. The biggest problem was that we notified the property manager of a non-functioning bedroom air conditioner, he quickly responded that he had contacted his AC person, but the AC had still not been repaired when we checked out five days later!

Great Place to Stay

This condo is very nice with lots of natural light.. The owners Anita and Dave have maintained the unit very well. The bathroom is really stylish. The patio has a nice view of the pool. It really did feel like a "home away from home." It's close to Paradera Beach and Eagle Beach. I hope that it is available to rent again when I return to Aruba.

Renting Wacamaya Apt 14B

We rented apt 14B in the Wacamaya Apts online through VRBO. It was a simple, smooth process. Anita and Dave, the owners, responded right away to our request. They continued to respond quickly to any questions we had, as well as to any questions or concerns while we were staying there. They are both great people and very easy to communicate with.

Perfect escape from crowds

Nice unit with a perfect escape from the beach resort crowds. Unit is extremely close to all the things you would want to do in Aruba. Great pool to relax in the evenings. AC units kept temperatures perfectly comfortable. Love the use of lock box so no need to keep up with key during our excursions. Unit is exactly as pictured, Back of property, so some privacy from pool visitors and main road. You should rent a car to stay here. Owners had excellent response time and great advice on the area. Would certainly stay again. Perfect week.

Lovely getaway!

Dave and Anita, your place was great! Thanks for a beautiful vacation! You were super responsive to our inquiries, the condo was clean and very comfortable, parking was easy. We loved breakfast (and sometimes dinner) on the balcony overlooking the beautifully landscaped garden and the welcoming pool. Your directions were spot on and within just a few days we were enjoying Aruba like locals. The condo was well maintained and it’s especially lovely that you provide starters of basic household needs (e.g., soap, toilet paper, sponge,paper towels). We have stayed in more than one place that doesn’t and it’s hard to start a vacation that way! Your generosity made us feel right at home. Thank you again!

Great place for a relaxing stay

Dave and Anita were great hosts and even though we didn’t meet with them directly they were super quick to respond to any questions. The unit worked well for us and the bed was super comfortable. We enjoyed having a kitchen and found the grocery stores in Aruba just as good or better than what we have at home. The pool at the condo was good for swimming but not quite a resort type of pool that you would want to spend hours a day there. The location of the condo was maybe just a bit far to walk to the beach but we had a car and preferred Eagle Beach anyway and needed the car to take the chairs and cooler with us. Everything in the condo was clean and in good working condition and the shower felt great We would stay here again as this unit worked great for us

Great winter getaway

This condo is great for a couple for a getaway. Weather in Aruba is fantastic. Really loved eating breakfast on the balcony every day, internet speed and connectivity is great for those who still need to do some work while vacationing. Pool area has both shade and sun and is very tranquil. Neither road traffic nor the local rooster were an issue - the King sized bed is super comfortable and we both slept really well. Beach chairs are a bit heavy for lugging around but really appreciated having chairs provided. Really feel a car is required for this location. Appreciated the selection of books to read as one of read while one of us worked! Bring your own bags to the grocery story or buy one for $2.95 (we shopped at Superfoods). Gas upgrade in the parking lot daily was a bit of nuisance with the early start to the work, but this project will be over soon I assume. Would stay here again.

Clean, comfortable, spacious, quiet, and convenient apartment

The apartment was clean, comfortable, spacious, quiet, and convenient to beaches, restaurants, and grocery stores. Aruba is very safe but my husband and I felt even more secure being in a gated community. Everything we needed was provided; plenty of bath, pool, and beach towels. Also, beach chairs, an umbrella, a cooler, and a pool float. There were lots of drawers in the bedroom for storage and plenty of hangers and space in the closet to hang clothing. There was also an iron, ironing board, and safe but we didn't use them. We didn't do much cooking but anything you would need to prepare meals is available. As well as a full size refrigerator and freezer with an ice maker. The water pressure in the shower was strong and there was plenty of hot water. The air conditioners in the living room and bedroom worked very well and cooled the room in a few minutes. The king size bed was very comfortable, dreamy soft sheets. Another plus was sufficient toilet paper, paper towels, and tissues were provided. Another place we rented in Aruba only provided what was left on the roll and additional had to be purchased by us which I thought was very inconvenient and cheap! We enjoyed having TVs with lots of cable channels in the living room and bedroom and access to Netflix in the living room. The pool was quiet in the mornings and we were always able to find lounge chairs in the sun or shade. We also enjoyed sitting on the balcony for morning coffee and evening drinks. Dave responded quickly to a maintenance request and showed me how to access Netflix which was much appreciated. Communication before and during our stay was never a problem. The only negative that I realize is out of Anita and Dave’s control was a rooster(s) crowing and dogs barking very early in the morning. We’re light sleepers and aren’t accustomed to morning noise so it would wake us but for others it might not be an issue. Luckily the apartment is at the end of the building that’s farthest from the road which would be noisier. Anita and Dave are fantastic hosts, we enjoyed having all of the comforts of home in paradise and would likely stay in the apartment again.

Excellent

This was our 5th trip to Aruba and we have stayed at the Wacamaya condos before. It’s in a great location very close to Arashi beach which is our favorite. The condo was lovely and clean and the bed is very comfortable. The toilet had a broken fill valve when we arrived but we reported it to Dave and he sent the caretaker right away to fix it. We will definitely stay here again!

Great place to stay

This is a condo in a very nice complex with gated parking. The pool area inside the walled in 26 unit complex is great. An oasis in the desert. It is surrounded by local residences, dirt, and some businesses across the street. If you want loud party atmosphere this is not the place. If you want isolation from the locals and oceans views from your room this is not the place. If you don't want to rent a car this is not the place. However, if you want a nice condo with a great relaxing pool in an extremely convenient location where you can go to a different beach every day using your rented car and pick a different fantastic restaurant each night this is the perfect option. Dave and Anita are great hosts and got back to me very quickly anytime I contacted them. If you have not been to Aruba yet, driving around is easy, all beaches are public and parking is easy anywhere, and it's one of the safest islands you can visit.

Perfect

The property was just as advertised. Very clean, had everything we needed: paper goods, beach chairs, cooler, gas grill on property, pool, parking, tv, A/C, fully equipped kitchen, quiet neighborhood, gated entrance, comfortable bed and couches. We rented a car which I would recommend, the beach and high rise area is a couple miles and it is really to hot to walk. Highly recommend Tropic Car Rental. Dived with Palm Beach Divers, great service, picked me up at the condo and would drop me at the beach afterwards. We will return. Thanks Anita and Dave.

Peaceful oasis

We’ve stayed at this complex before and its just beautiful. This unit is fantastic. It had everything we needed for our stay. Cooler, beach chairs, beach towels, kitchen was wonderfully stocked. Large selection of books to read. Short drive to the beach, in a great location. We entered around the Marriott area daily. King bed was super comfy. The unit was very clean. Owners were great at replying to our questions. Will definitely return in the future.

We really enjoyed ourselves!

The property was exactly as advertised. It was close to beaches and restaurants. We rented a Jeep for the week and traveled all over the island including off-road which was a highlight for my husband! The condo was clean and well appointed. Shower was large. There is a comfortable king bed for restful sleeping. The owners checked on us shortly after check in to make sure everything was in order. They provided everything we needed for an enjoyable week on the island including beach chairs, beach towels, pool float and cooler. The pool area is a beautiful oasis and we enjoyed it many afternoons upon returning from sightseeing on the island.

Great location - but not all that we expected

This was our 15th vacation in Aruba - we absolutely love this island, its people, and the climate. We typically stay at resorts and walk everywhere in Aruba, but having had four great experiences elsewhere with VBRO properties we decided to rent a local condo for two weeks. With only 28 units, this property is very quiet, has a beautiful waterfall pool with lovely landscaping, lots of tile work, and is close to many of the island attractions. The downside is that you absolutely need a rental vehicle when staying here. Although everything is within walking distance, most roads have heavy traffic, lack functional shoulders or walking paths, and there are no sidewalks to get you from this complex to your destinations safely. The laundry was out of commission during our stay which was a disappointment. Also, the unit does not have a phone, so plan to bring your cell or rent one on arrival. This unit looks good overall, it has lots of windows, is comfortable, and has a great view of the pool & courtyard from the balcony. However, the bedroom blinds do not open and, for the price, the kitchen supplies and other general amenities are definitely lacking compared to what we experienced in the other VRBO properties we've rented. That said, Anita was very responsive to any questions we had, sent us suggestions about area restaurants and beaches, and provided good details about the security & access to the complex. Her directions to the property are clear and she provides tons of information about both the property and the surrounding area. This is a great little condo complex and worth looking into as an alternative to the faster pace of the island resorts.

Cozy Stay

First time we have rented through VRBO, and first time not doing an all inclusive vacation. We totally loved it, specially when you aren't planning on staying put at a resort, this is the way to go. I would not hesitate to rent privately again. Anita has made the experience easy, she always responded quickly with any enquiries I had. The condo is just like the pictures. The bed was comfortable, the couch as well, never tried the pull out so can't say but have napped on the couch a few times. Both air conditioners worked well, even after being off for most of the day, we found the place not hot at all and once we turned on the a/c, it didn't take long to have the place cold. Kitchen was fully equip, was only missing a can opener (or I couldn't find it). Ice maker was handy for packing extra ice in the cooler, we brought our own cooler but they had a couple in the unit to use, the beach chairs they provided came in handy as we would often go to beaches that had no services. Loved the large shower. Water pressure is excellent, lots of hot water, actually too much lol, found that the water came naturally hot, never had to turn the hot water on. We never had the chance to use the bbq, but the pool area was paradise in itself, only used it twice and it was always quiet. Most of the time the pool was empty specially during the day, as other guest are often out and about. The only thing I would add is that they should have an outside shower, just to quickly rinse off after a swim. Or before, there were times we came from the beach and would have loved to jump in the water but I was full of sand, so I had to go upstairs first to rinse my feet off first before heading to pool. It's probably reason why we hardly used it cuz once inside the unit, I never went out again. The place was secure, I always felt safe, the main gate was broken, I believe the parking lot is supposed to be gated as well but at the time of our stay it was down as one of the contractor backed into it. The roofers were replacing the roof but we were never bothered as we are out first thing in the morning. The location of the condo is great, close enough to main attractions but far enough to enjoy quiet time. We would definitely rent with Anita and Dave again. And yes, I highly recommend their place.

Loved the wacamaya condo

We truly enjoyed our stay at the Wacamaya condo. We were so grateful that they provided everything we needed. It saved us so much money to have all the small items on hand. The beach chairs were also wonderful and saved us the chair rental fee. The condo feels homey and comfortable. Anita and Dave were great and answered any questions right away. I would certainly recommend their condo to any one who wants a relaxing no stress place to stay.

My stay

The whole area including parking was gated which was wonderful as every thing was secure. The care taker on site was very helpful. Even though the Island is arid, it has it's own charm & is beautiful. Everyone we met on the island were nice & helpful.

We are a hands on couple that provide our guest all the extra's they may need to have a great vacation. We spend half the year in Aruba and live one street from the complex. Should any maintenance issues arise then we are just a quick call away.

Varför värden valde detta boende

this is a great location. We are only a short 10 minute walk to Palm Beach or 1/2 mile. the condo's are in a very upscale and safe Area of Aruba. Our unit is 1 of onlt 2 that offer oversized western looking windows, that provide lots of extra light, and great sunsets.
