Located just an hour from St. Paul makes this a perfect vacation cabin for a weekend, a week or month! Not far from St. Croix Falls for your major shopping needs, but far enough to enjoy the privacy and your own personal retreat. Don't have a pontoon - rent one from us! Daily & weekly rates avail!

The Cabin offers 2 bedrooms on one level, both with queen beds, plus a large family room with a queen sleeper sofa, great room style living/dining/kitchen. Grab your morning coffee and enjoy the sunrise from the large new deck or your afternoon beverage and be captivated by the sunset!

A huge flat yard to enjoy playing games, sitting by the campfire or to even throw up a tent for some real up north experiences! The cabin is comfortably designed and decorated and offers free wifi and smart TV's in the family room and bedrooms. Enjoy the luxury of working remotely from the cabin too!!! Grab the canoe or kayak and set out on an adventure. Or find your way across the lake to Sherrards Resort for a pizza, drink and a game of pool. If you are into UTV's then this is your spot! Miles and miles of trails and pit stops along the way!

Great views looking South West over Big Blake Lake, 208 acre lake average 14 feet in depth, EXCELLENT for fishing, boating, swimming.

The lake has a sandy bottom and the public boat landing is a mere 300 ft from our property - just 3 cabins down! Big Blake lake is a renown fishing lake with large mouth bass, northern pike, sunfish, crappies, perch and even large muskies!

Big Blake Lake Break

Teri and Erich, my family greatly needed a peaceful, serene break from our hectic, grueling day-to-day work life, and your property thoroughly fulfilled that need. Quiet, good location, relaxing vacation

Nice quiet spot. Good fishing for kids. Lovely yard with fire pit. Good location for short day trips - Outdoor art, riverboat trip. Crystal Cave. Explored surrounding small towns. History Museums close by. Kids enjoyed swimming and s'mores.

Great stay!

Had a great Labor Day weekend! Cabin had everything that one would need. We loved the large windows and beautiful view. Really enjoyed boating around the lake as well!

Quiet and relaxing

The property is beautiful! It’s a quiet, country lake with great fishing. We even caught some great fish off the dock! There are cute towns around for some fun shopping on rainy days too.

Great spot on serene lake!

The cabin has been nicely updated and decorated. Wonderful views of the lake! Very clean and comfortable. Great spot for relaxing getaway.

Fun Stay

We had a fun time - there is a large yard with a good view of the water from the fire pit, and the neighbors are friendly! We rented a pontoon separately from the owners and that made getting out on the water very easy. We also were able to take out the kayaks with our daughters, which was fun.

Great vacation spot for family fun either isolated by ourselves - swimming, campfire, games and tablets OR centrally located for Hayward Lumberjack show, Clear Lake extended family picnic, Franconia Outdoor Sculpture Park and St. Croix riverboat ride.

Fun weekend!

Great communication, cute cabin, beautiful property. The paddle boat didn't work (my dad fixed the rudder on day two and then we got it working), paddles for the canoe were unreachable, and no fault of theirs the pontoon broke down (still disappointing). Being confined to the lake off the dock was a bit of a bummer because of the weeds and leeches. Cabin was stocked well, great view, perfect property for lawn games and campfires! The communication was great and the owners even came out to try to fix the boat! Would definitely rent again!

Wonderful Week

The cabin was updated very nicely inside, I'm sure the deck is to follow. We rented the pontoon to fish off of and that was perfect, then used our boat to tube and ski. Lovely place, driveway is a bit tricky with a boat, but boat ramp is a block away. We got to see Harvey the Harvester at work, with the folks trying to keep their lake nice. Lovely Place, thanks for letting us stay!

Great relaxing vacation!

Lake home was great for an isolated vacation. Swim, fish, campfire and outdoor games. Also appreciated the air conditioning, big screen TV, and Wifi. Was a bit noisy during the day with construction around the lake and weed cutting boat. First time on Vrbo but used other online rental services for European vacations. Good experience with Vrbo.
