The Lily Pad II is located on the South Island just 5 minutes from the main town area and 10 minutes from the popular "Split & Lazy Lizard" area. It is only a short walk from the village, yet far enough away to enjoy real peace and quiet. We are not directly on the Beach or Waterfront but it is never a long way to go to get there as the Island is only 1KM wide. The neighborhood is very safe and the Cottage was completed in Feb 2021 so it is a brand new cottage with lots of amenities. We provide 1 x (5 Gallon) Jug of water for a 2-4 night stay OR 2x (5 Gallon) Jugs of water are included with a 5 night stay or longer. (extra jugs are $3.50USD), as well as A/C, and ceiling fan. A full-size fridge, gas stove/oven, microwave, toaster, and coffee maker are also at your disposal. For a 3 night stay (or longer) we offer a complimentary pick-up service from the Ferry terminal or Airstrip to get you and your luggage to our cottage and 2 complimentary Bicycles are provided for our guests as well. There are currently 56 Golf cart taxi services on the Island or you can choose to rent your own Golf Cart while you are here. We do not cover the return taxi trip but if you let us know the time of check-out and when you need to depart, we will arrange the taxi pick-up for you.

Great Spot to Stay on a Great Island

The Lilypad was clean and perfect for my needs! Mike and Lily let me know about the best way to get out to Caye Caulker and places to eat. The bikes are such a fun way to get around the island. And Harley the dog was great porch company

Great place to relax

The house was delightful. Mike was super friendly and made sure we were taken care of. We felt safe and could truely relax. The AC worked well too to keep it cool for sleeping.

Great place to relax

Communication started well as we booked the property six months prior. Super clean and felt welcome at all times. The property is fenced in with the other rental and the owner's property. Super safe andwelcoming. Mike and Lily were amazing hosts, and Harley, the dog, was a close third.

Fantastic

The hosts are amazing always asking if we needed anything. Very safe location,several good grocery stores within a few blocks, several small restaurants in a few blocks,bed very comfortable, bikes included which was VERY IMPORTANT. We rode them all of the island, including across the split. I highly recommend Lily Pad 2 Very clean, even changed towels half way thru the week. I can't say enough positive things about Mike and Lily.

They have huge dogs that will jump on you and enter the property with mud and dirt on their feet. The owner fraudulently charged my credit card for damage we did not do. It’s criminal to take advantage of tourists in a foreign country.

When visiting Caye Caulker, take my advice, stay at the Lily Pad. Mike and Liliana make you feel like their personal guests. The comfy cabin is thoughtfully supplied with so many creature comforts such as a well stocked kitchen, filtered water and convenient toiletries like a hair dryer. From the moment we arrived, we felt like old friends coming back for a visit. The generous use of the complementary bikes is so convenient. Mike gave us really good advice about restaurants, outings and honest local markets. FYI, the market is a stones throw away. You won't find this sort of friendly, quality service anywhere else on the island. And did I mention the modern cleanliness? Just click now, you won't regret it.

Mike and Liky are one of the best hosts i have had. They went out of their way to help me as best they could. They provided a rice bag to dry my soaked phone, a first aid box for my injured arm, did my laumdry and provided local info according to my interests. I felt right at home after i checked in. The unit was very clean and tidy. The kichen had all the need for cooking and eating meals. There was a microwave for quick heat up leftoverd and a full sized refrigirator. Mike iwas always concious of how their pet dog behaved. They called golf card taxi whenever i needed one. Grocery store and restaurants nearby. Great place and kind people. Highly recommemded

Lily pad #2

This cottage was exactly what we had wanted. It was cozy and really clean, the Dyson's looked after us with every ask. If they did not know they reached out and got the answers. Price was right, location for us was great and the fact that it offered bicycles was a big plus. If we ever find ourselves in Belize again we will not look else where.
