Great location for visits to the historic district

A short drive or even walk to many places in the historic district. Spacious home for 4 people. Could have been cleaner.

Cottage in Natchez

We stayed in the River Breeze Cottage in Natchez over the Spring Pilgrimage. It was a comfortable and cozy house. The house was built in 1897 and looked like it may have had the original doors and windows. The area it was in was questionable but we didn’t have any issues. It was fairly close to downtown.

There was Good and There Wasn't

I first have to say when we were on our way there was talk of flooding on the news. I called and emailed the owner/manager of the house. He was Jonny on the Spot in getting back to me and assuring me no worries. And he was right!The house was as it was pictured, in a sense. The front porch was lovely as were the roses growing up in front. The house was very cluttered. There was enough plastic party stuff for more than enough for 2 classes of high schoolers. Drawers and cupboards filled with plastic grocery bags. Every surface was covered so we had no place to put our stuff. It also had dirty spots. It was as if someone had just cleaned whatever was on a list: sink clean-check, tub clean-check, floor swept-check. Dust was everywhere. The dish washer was still full of dishes. There was an old leak in the one bedroom window. The pillows, blankets and curtains were wet and the curtains full of mold. The a.c. system return was filthy. The key box was very difficult to work too. There was plenty of hot water and the heating system was good. And the city of Natchez was all we hoped for. So we four had a wonderful time.

Springtime in Natchez

We spent 4 days at River Breeze Cottage while attending the Restoring Hope weekend in Natchez. The cottage is really great. Perfect for 2 couples. There’s a nice enclosed patio perfect for relaxing. We found the cottage close to everything we were doing in and around Natchez and the host is quick with answers to any questions you might have.

It was everything we expected and more. Cozy, clean, and just right for 2 couples looking for a relaxing weekend! Convenient to so many restaurants, and all the charm that Natchez has to offer is at the doorstep.

Fun little cottage

We absolutely loved staying at the River Breeze Cottage. It’s a roomy 2 bedroom 2 bath home with some cute historical features. The bedrooms are well separated for privacy, & the beds & pillows were so comfortable. The kitchen and bathrooms are updated. The kitchen had all of the amenities needed to actually cook, and we did just that. We knew the restaurants would be packed because of the holiday weekend & concert, so for part of our stay, we cooked on the grill provided as well as using the stovetop & oven. The house is less than a mile walk to all of the downtown activities. We also enjoyed the courtyard and front porch. It was a great weekend, & we would definitely stay here again!

Natchez Charm

This is a lovely older home (circa 1897) that has been well updated to be comfortable. Excellent location near many Natchez attractions. The owner did an excellent job communicating and when a local emergency led us to request a change in dates he was very accommodating.

Great location; wonderful get-away.

We have stayed in numerous VRBO properties over the years and I must say, this is one of the nicest. The furnishings are beautiful, the appliances are top shelf, the linens were so nice, beds were comfortable and Kendall is so nice and easy to work with. The location is great - you can walk to many attractions if you want or it's a short drive to almost anywhere you want to go. Two couples stayed the weekend. The set up of the house gave us plenty of privacy away from each other. I would highly recommend this property and we will definitely be staying there again.

Quiet and Relaxing

We enjoyed staying at the property. It was well stocked with special treats and extras. Getting settled in was easy and the beds were very comfortable. Sitting in the chairs on the front porch was very peaceful and relaxing. We enjoyed being close to the downtown area. I would definitely consider staying there again.

Natchez weekend getaway

Super cute cottage - just the right size for two couples. Kitchen has all that we needed, including coffee and upgraded appliances. Kendall, our host, was very responsive by text, answering a few questions and making restaurant recommendations. Location was close to everything we wanted to see. I highly recommend this rental.

Pleasant Evacuationn

The house is awesome. They have a lot of extras that other VRBO rentals don't. Which was great considering the stores were closed. Condiments, spices, coffee, paper products etc came in handy.

Natchez in the Spring
