End of summer weekend

David's place was perfect for an end of summer weekend. Plenty of space and the private dock was great for some end of season crabbing. Would definitely stay here again.

Covid Staycation

Gorgeous house-extremely spacious-well suited for large family vacations ! Relaxing outdoor space with fabulous views ! Great kitchen for the chef of the family ! Close to beach and boardwalk! Must stop at Bum Rogers for happy hour! A definite return !

The property was beautiful, all amenities were provided..Just needed sheets and towels which we had from reading other peoples reviews... Two refrigerators are in the kitchen which helped kerp all our drinks and food cold for the week and the gameroom had a small freezer and an ice well to keep bagged ice. Perfect week, we couldnt have asked for a better place to stsy..

We met with. college friends from up and down the east coast to celebrate our 50th birthdays. This house was perfect. Enough room for everyone, so clean and what a view. Thank you to David for being easy to work with and great accommodations.

Great stay in Seaside Heights with pool

Exceptional house that is excellently maintained. Modern. Roomy. Convenient to Island Beach State Park and Seaside Heights and adjacent shore towns. Pool table and ping pong table, large TV in LR, large dining room - - all good. Owner/ landlord was easy and accommodating.

Amazing House...Amazing Location.

Very clean home in a great location. Plenty of common area for a large group/family. Home was better than advertised. The owner , David, made sure our stay we better than expected. Close to all the major attractions the Jersey Shore has to offer. Would HIGHLY recommend this rental/owner to anyone looking for a great place to stay. The easy of renting this home made the trip so much more enjoyable. Thanks again David!

Family Reunion

We had a wonderful time, the house was perfect for our large family. Everything inside & out was clean & in New or like new condition. We had an excellent experience with this owner! Would recommend , location was perfect, no real need to leave but close to Island Beach State park, to Seaside Boardwalk etc. Don’t forget your bed linens & towels, we remembered thanks to other reviews!

Great place for a big gathering

Beautiful house with a beautiful view. We had a large family group to celebrate a special occasion- the kids loved the pool and game room and the adults loved the house and the large deck with all the great view. Plenty of searing for everyone . Just be sure to bring or rent your own sheets and towels. Also need to stock up on all paper products including to, paper towels,napkins, soap, dish detergent , sponges, etc It was a perfect house for our celebration . Any small problems we had David helped us with very quickly It

Fantastic Vacation

We enjoyed all the amenities, especially the pool and crabbing off of your dock. The 4 kids ranging in age from 7 to 11 loved the game room and had plenty of room to play hide and seek. The house is beautifully appointed and absolutely immaculate. The one thing I would suggest is to have some cleaning products available in the kitchen to wipe up spills and sticky fingers on the glass doors. David, as you already know, we will be returning next summer. I just need to go over the date with my daughter. Once again thank you for being a wonder and receptive host. Regards, Lois

Great House - Great View

A group of young professionals headed to the Jersey Shore for a Thanksgiving Weekend getaway. The house was spacious and comfortable. The game room was great - we spent a lot of time playing pool. The living room was very comfortable and cozy. The windows allowed us to see the stunning view. The dock was a great place to hang out and be outdoors (plus there were a lot of adorable ducks and ducklings who came to say hello)! The lighthouse was a great added perk - a fun and different kind of place to relax and play card games. The place was clean and well-maintained, great customer service, chatting with the owner, and beautiful property. Would most definitely recommend this house to another group of young professionals, or even a big family! Hope to be back soon :)

We called David’s home a peaceful paradise for the week!

Davis home was not only beautiful but he went above and beyond answering any questions we had or concerns we mentioned to him. Renting summer houses in the past, this house had everything we needed to have a great time! Some people complained about bringing their own sheets on other reviews but we had no issues doing that. Our days were spent on the deck & in his pool or out on our jet skis in the bay that were were able to dock right in his backyard. The nights were a lot of fun in the game room and again sitting on the deck wnjoying every bit of the Seaside Heights air & views! Thank you David for a great week!!!!

Wonderful week

My family and I had a delightful week. We were 8 adults and 5 teenagers ranging in age from 17 to 13. This house is amazing and better than the pictures. The teenagers were never bored. We brought two paddle boards and they spent hours, launching from the small beach on the property, exploring the bay. Numerous games of pool and ping pong were played. We were even treated to a concert on the piano. The grown ups enjoyed watching the numerous birds. There were Ospreys nesting across the bay, egrets, swans, barn swallows, ducks, geese and of course sea gulls. A few brave adults and the kids used the pool. It was to chilly for the older adults. All 13 of us had a great time and I would definitely recommend for a large group. Suzanne A.

You will love it!

First the practical stuff. Like everyone else said, bring sheets, towels, and hand towels for 4 bathrooms & the kitchen. Bring hand soap/ dish soap. All kitchen cookware/ dishes & cutting boards are there. Bring a sharp knife though. There are many knives but none are sharp. All beds have pillows & blankets. We found extra blankets in the laundry room. This is an amazing house in a spectacular location. The house, pool, and deck are directly on the water. And the pool was still open for us on October 24th! There are Adirondacks and a table with chairs on the pool deck. You need to bring folding chairs for the upper decks if you'd like to sit out there as all have amazing views. There is a deck at the very top of the house accessed by a little ladder. Cool! This house has so many places to relax and hang out -- terrific for a big group. We cooked great meals, played pool & ping pong, and went for a walk on the beach. We even played hide and seek in the house and couldn't find one adult for 20 minutes. Also, bring a piano player if you have one! There is a nice little seating area around the piano on the second floor just made for a rousing sing-along. You will love his house. We cannot wait to go back in another season. The owner David is super and will respond quickly to any questions or issues. Thanks very much!!

Good Location, Great Owner, Minor Issues

We stayed at David's awesome property July'17,had a great time. Mixed age ranges of kids from 2 to teen/6 adults with plenty of room to spread out as needed. The House - As advertised, very spacious, small beach area was perfect for a few toddlers and launching kayaks from. Some minor dock repair and pool skimmer cap missing issues when we arrived but David was quick to respond and it was nothing out of the ordinary for a popular rental. The kids LOVED the many nooks of this house. The Neighborhood- This area was hit hard by sandy and the neighborhood is still recovering. Neighbors told us they just got back after few years of rebuilding. Sadly a few abandoned homes still on the island and across the street but nothing that messed with our fun and can only get better as there are definitely people who care in area. The Area: Seaside Heights etc is a great location. Definitely reccommend using Island state beach park as the beach of choice - NJ residents $6/ car load, out of state $12bucks, short drive, not too crowded beaches etc. Fireworks every wed night in the summer which you can see really well from all the decks/dock. Boardwalk is great (sawmill pizza!). Other Reviews - Our Thoughts: Wet Items in Laundry: We took note about other reviews mentioning wet rags/hand towels in the washer on arrival - we experienced this but just threw them right into dryer and all good. This is pretty typical in our experience of other rentals where the cleaning crew puts a load in and sometimes misses the dry cycle. No biggie. Deck Condition: The water during hurricane sandy did not enter the house from photos we looked up but wore the deck down a lot for sure. The caretaker/David are aware and doing maint. to keep things safe. Sheets/Towels: Other reviews noting being surprised by not knowing about the sheets and such, david was very clear with us, definitely bring towels / sheets / pillow cases / toliet paper / paper towels etc. Stains: One review noted a lot of stains, only thing we saw was the master bedroom mattress could use replacing after this season but again we didn't notice anything else. Other notes: -There is a microwave/sink/small fridge in a small breezeway between master bath and bedroom. -Excercise area of master b-rm makes a great nook for kids to zzz -The central staircase/house is very open - its very cool - but if you have small children who wake early it is difficult to contain noise if someone wants to snooze. Enjoy!

Amazing!!

This was our second year staying at this property and we booked already for next year. Love everything about the house and location. It is just breathtaking. It accommodates our large group of all ages. David is a fantastic owner. Always available for questions and ti ensure our stay was nothing but the best. Beautiful house and setting with tons of space !

Gorgeous house and property with lots of space to entertain and store things. David was a pleasure to deal with. There are some upgrades/fixes that owner is working on for the house but overall everything was great! Our whole family, ages 18-80, enjoyed our time there.

Awesome roomy bay front property

Our covid vaca instead if Disney, boohoo, but we really enjoyed our time at 200 sunset. Home was really fun and spacious. Loved being on bay with the dock and pool. End of season and weather was unseasonably cold but we just enjoyed the house and game room, cooking and just hanging out. Kitchen was well appointed, we didn't get towel and sheet service and was fine but no pot holders. Kitchen has most everything else. Spices galore. Even a air fryer and lobster pot. No games or instructions for home or book to tell trash pick up and directions for clean up anywhere but David did reapond quickly when we asked. Worried a bit about crime rate in Seaside Heights but had no problems. Might go back but we usually like to go further for vacation, but being covid restricted, this was a great option. Thanks for a lovely time.

Best beach house stay ever!

We had a great experience in this house, we usually rent a Seaside condo with a community pool but because of COVID we wanted a private pool, this house gave us that and so much more! The house was immaculate, kitchen was so well stocked that I wound up leaving my kitchen boxes packed most of the week. The owner is very nice, easy to talk to was available to us the entire stay. Although this house is a little out of our budget, we are trying to figure it out to set up a 2021 stay, the house is just so perfect! I highly recommend this house to any family looking for a house in a great location, close to everything, and including everything your family needs for a perfect week in Seaside.
