Bluffs Vacation

This is my second year renting this house and it has been great both times! The Bluffs are a great location. The house has plenty of sleeping space (love the upgrade to a queen bed downstairs), was clean and felt like home. It’s a great spot to stay!

Great location and lots of room

The property was great. Location was perfect for us as we had a wedding to attend in Tamworth. Plenty of space for multiple people. Easy walk down to the lake.

It felt like home

We were very happy with this property! Plenty of space to spread out and plenty of beds to sleep in. My family and I settled in quickly and we’re very comfortable during our stay. I highly recommend this home!

Great location, poor property management

We were happy with the location and the accommodations. But were extremely disappointed that the property was not plowed in weeks. After a 5 hour drive with 3 young children, to be forced to shovel to get in the driveway and back out to get provisions was extremely disappointing. It left a bad taste that lingered through the stay.

Location is good, pictures make it seem larger than it is and needs a good cleaning

Cons: pics make it look more spacious than it is. Upstairs is cramped for 11 people. Kitchen well supplied but little to no counter space. in desperate need of a good cleaning and linens downstairs need updating. Pros: great location on Ossipee Lake, upstairs furniture is New, couch New comfortable and clean, great swivel feature on TV

Has potential

Unit is well laid out and has a lot of potential. However, it needs a deep cleaning, deep cluttering and minor repairs. The basement and sunroom carpet is dirty with multiple stains; should be cleaned or replaced. Sink in laundry room bathroom drains excessively slowly. Kitchen tools and appliances are very nice and worked well, but cabinets are stuffed and disorganized. We also found the lighting in the living/dining/ kitchen area to be rather dim. Big need- towel hooks and bars in bathrooms and bedrooms!! This place appears to be a work in progress.

Nice Getaway, Good For Large Family

We spent four days/3 nights here in mid-August & enjoyed our stay. There were 4 adults & 4 kids and we did have additional family members stop by to visit. We were careful to bring our gathering in from the porch every night at exactly 10pm, as the sound really does carry. Here are the things we liked: *It's large enough for everyone to spread out & have their own space. The kids hung out in the basement & had their own bathroom * shower down there. *The screened porch is a homerun. So relaxing & a perfect space to have coffee, gather with family friends, & relax. *It's a nice neighborhood to go for a walk and it is a short walk (5 min) to the beach. The beach area is small but it was quiet with a few picnic tables & a badminton net. No public pier or slides or raft or anything though. *Having at least one bathroom that had a master bath was terrific. The main hall bath was also large & had a large capacity washer & dryer in it. Having shampoo/conditioner/liquid soap in each shower is a nice touch. *The kitchen was well stocked with most cooking items (pots/pans/dishware/glasses) you would need. A few more seasonings would be a great addition. Here are some suggestions to make this an even better stay: *The basement is in desperate need of a very large, continuous-draining dehumidifier. It is extremely musty down there, especially in the main living room area. The kids room w/ bunks had a small dehumidifier that was full with water when we arrived. We emptied it each morning but to run it blows hot air in the room. Also a step stool in the kids room would be nice for the bunk beds (no ladders). *The refrigerator and dishwasher leak. The dishwasher leak has caused the subfloor to buckle slightly and the flooring/linoleum in that area is cracked. *All of the window sills should be cleaned. They are all dirty and have spiders/spider webs in them. *The home got fairly humid while we were there (it was hot out), so having a working oscillating fan in each bedroom & for the living room would have been nice. There are a couple fans there but more are needed. A hair blow dryer in at least one bathroom would be a nice touch as well. * Since it is near a lake, some lake toys/supplies would be awesome. Things like a blowup raft or even some kayaks or anything that can be taken onto the lake would be fantastic, even if there was an extra fee. We tried to rent a boat but everything was booked. Overall a fun stay with lots of laughs and good memories!

Lovely week away

Our family had a great stay. The upstairs beds were very comfortable and the main living area/porch were great to eat dinner and relax. The beach wasn’t too far and was beautiful and sandy.

Clean and cozy

My family and I enjoyed our stay at the Bluffs. Property was very clean and comfortable! Andrew was extremely prompt in his response times as well. The teenagers loved having a whole hangout spot downstairs too

Great location close to King Pine! Bunk bed room worked perfectly for all the kids. Everything we needed was available. Check out this rental.

Nice location

We enjoyed the stay—the location was very close to many things in the area. House has access to a private beach. The swimming area there is small, but there are other swimming areas nearby.

Okay stay

Property was okay. Very musty smell downstairs lots of cobwebs like it hasn't been opened up for a while. Holes in the screen doors let in mosquitoes, many light bulbs not working in lamps. Not a fan of Apple TV system. It was a lot of money for what it was, pretty old and outdated decor.

A week at the lake

The layout of the house was excellent. Nice open kitchen and living room and dining room. We Spent a lot of time on the screened porch. Furnishings were very nice. The beds and couch seemed quite new and comfortable.
