Some things didn't work, location is good for bars, not beach

We stayed in a quiet middle apartment (no balcony) that had 2 bathrooms, a separate living room/kitchen, air conditioning, and an in-unit washer dryer.There were a few things in the apartment that didn't work well. The internet was spotty, the TV was really difficult to use because of both the poor internet and a faulty remote. The stove would turn off in the middle of cooking and not turn back on. The only other real issue is that the pool was too grimy to use, and I'm not particularly squeamish about those things.Others said the location was great, but it's only good for clubbing or souvenir shopping. You had to walk 15-20 minutes north (above Constituyentes) or south (around 2nd st) to get to a beach that wasn't fully eroded and/or rocky. Even those beaches nearby were fully dominated by beach clubs, meaning you had to add 50USD per day per person to actually use the beach.

Cancelled at the last second

I had this accommodation confirmed in January, and I thought it was strange that it was 48 and 24 hrs, and I still had not received any information to check-in. I reached out several times the day before, ensuring everything was okay and without getting any responses. I had to reach out to VRBO support to get directly in contact, and after reaching out to him directly, he finally got back to us. Four hours before we had to go to the airport, the host canceled the reservation, saying he was unaware of our reservation, that there had been a burst pipe in the unit for 2 weeks, and that it was no longer available. At that moment, we frantically contacted VRBO support to help us immediately find something and be in the same area since we were set to arrive shortly after. I appreciate VRBO support for being able to help us ASAP, but this stay should be removed if they can't even keep track of who reserves it for when. DO NOT BOOK.

Condo Stay 2024-2025

- Waited 3 hours in the lobby for check in- Property Manager was not available or did not respond within a prompt manner- Pool had so many missing tiles on the floor of the pool, you would cut your feet- Hot tub didn't work- Staff working was not very friendly- Dirty Walls, fridge door was broken, remotes didn't work as they were full of rustAs far as ever staying with your company, it is a definite NO. Property Manager did not do anything to assist in anyway! This whole experience was a total bust!!!

Talked to the host before we arrived, he said he would get us a balcony room, that did not happen, our internet was our out fir a week , the host met me at the front door one day demanding an additional pet deposit of $110 , he said if I didn’t pay he would turn power off. He was rude to me and didn’t follow through with requests.

Great Location

Could not have been more convenient to everything Playa del Carmen has to offer. Clean, responsive host and easily accessible. I highly recommend staying here.

Convenient

Very well located. Close to everything and a few blocks from the beach. I really would like to enjoy of the jacuzzi that was not working on the top floor. Also, the kitchen doesn't count with any kind of condiments or cleaning supplies to wash the pots or dishes if you want to cook something. Not enough toilette paper. You have to park on the street and pay from 10:00am-10:00pm. In general our stay there was pleasant.

This property is right in the heart of Playa del Carmen, surrounded by the best restaurants, bars and nightclubs in town. This property has every amenity you may need, a rooftop where you can work on your tan, a jacuzzi, grille and a fully equipped gym. Only 2 minutes away from the beach, where you can enjoy a sunny day. Also 1 minute away from 7 eleven and 5 minutes away from Walmart.
Perfect for any kind of trip or vacation.
