Welcome to our quaint Chalet on Hickory Hills. This adorable home is one of a kind. Cozy living room with a 60" 4k TV, stocked with DVD's for a night in at the movies. A brick fireplace rises to the top of a 16 ft wood ceiling and exposed wood beams. Comfy loft offering a daybed with trundle overlooks the living and dining room area that seats 8 guests. The pavilion is equipped with a gas grill, sink, and games. Workspace in upstairs bedroom. Access to Lake Grassy is located just a short walk at the end of this street.

A 517 Acre freshwater lake, great for fishing, boating, jet ski or just watching the beautiful sunsets. Launch your boat from the community boat ramp and a first come first serve boat dock with private lake access. Bikes and two fully equipped kayaks with carts for up to 4 adults are available to our guests. Restaurants, stores, and attractions are just a short drive away.

Indoor/Outdoor Living

Everything that was advertised was available and more. We really enjoyed kayaking on Grassy Lake, there was one double kayak. We were lucky to have low humidity and no mosquitos during our stay so hung out outside throwing darts or just enjoying the weather and playing games. Inside was roomy and comfortable. Everything was spotless and the host had provided shampoo and soap in case you forgot yours. We also enjoyed Lake Placid's little downtown area and had ice cream at Cherry on Top while enjoying sitting in the little park and had breakfast at Morty and Edna's, which was delicious.

In Town for a Spartan Race

Such a great place with the exact amenities we were looking for! Would be a 5 star review but the mattresses were like sleeping on concrete. Very clean and well kept but terribly uncomfortable

The perfect cabin for families to stay in Lake Placid.

I loved staying in the cabin it is the second time I have stayed and everything is always clean it was easy to checkin like the first time and it is very quiet I would definitely stay again in them I recommend them 100%. my sisters love to walk it is in a very good place close to shops and close to church we definitely loved the cabin.

Wow, a ski chalet in Florida. We liked this rental home very much. Everything we needed was provided and easy to access. Cleanliness is a priority to this property owner. There were antique accents placed throughout the house. We would recommend this property.

Family birthday

My 4 daughters, and their children got together to celebrate my oldest daughter's 50th birthday. It was perfect! All the beds were comfortable. The seating in the living room and dining room were perfect! Grocery stores and hiking nearby. Quiet neighborhood. We had such a great time! Thanks so much!

Very nice, large home in quiet neighborhood

Enjoyed the property, and walking down the road to the lake. You need to go elsewhere to fish or have your own boat. We did not use the canoes as it would have involved pulling them up a short hill, due to our ages and stages, but perfectly obtainable to younger and stronger folks. The kitchen had pretty much everything we needed and the beds were comfortable.

Yany is very helpful from the beginning. The place is very spacious and we all felt at home. Very well equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing weekend. Close driving distance to grocery stores, diner.. etc.. Highly recommend!!

The check in process and communication was great. It’s a little outside of town than I would have liked but that’s ok. My only complaint would be the beds are not that comfortable. The coach however was awesome. Everything was clean and had all the amenities we needed.

Wonderful Time

House was very clean and everything we needed for our stay was provided for a comfortable stay.

We had a great time and it was very relaxing. Yanary was a great host and kept in contact with us to insure we had a great stay. Would definitely rent this property again.
