Home away from home

Home away from home

We were given a bad deal by Eagle Beach Resort ( A third party at the same hotel) money lost because of Eagle. Vacasa helped with given a beautiful 2 bedroom and 2 bath for the price Eagle charged. 5 stars + for vacasa thanks for save short trip away from home. Sometimes its best to book with with the hotel instead of a third party such as Booking.

Perfect vacation getaway!

This property was perfect for us! We were traveling with 2 adults and 2 kids. It was an affordable property with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The room was very clean and stocked with almost everything we needed. The staff was super friendly and helpful.

Overall the stay was ok but the mattress was horrible and a roach was crawling on the kitchen counter. I called for assistance and nobody came to assist.

Yuck

Would not recommend unit until rug is replaced. The rug was disgusting with so many stains. Definitely needs some upgrading.

Dirty and old

The room was covered in stains with dirt build up caked along the edges of the room. It had basically everything you would need, but we were hesitant to use anything because of the cleanliness. Definitely needs an update or at least a thorough cleaning.

Needs Updating

The master bed was extremely hard and lumpy. The couch was very uncomfortable also. Kitchen was not very well equipped. They still use the "covid" excuse to not service the room. No one is wearing masks in the entire area. I shouldn't have to hunt down my own towels. We were there days and they expected us to "schedule" for the room to be cleaned. I'm on vacation and shouldn't have to schedule getting my room cleaned.

Nice place, great location!

Nice condo that sleeps 8. We had 4 adults and 3 kids and it was perfect for us. The unit had 2 bathrooms which made it nice as well. Would definitely book again.

Great location nice rooms.

Just about everything you would need while at the beach is within walking distance. We may take the car out of the parking garage just once while visiting for a week.plenty of pools,very clean surroundings and a 2-3 minute walk to the beach. We always go after Labor Day and the prices are great and the beach less crowded.We have been going to Myrtle Beach for about 15 yrs and have been staying at the Camelot for about 6 of those yrs and the one recommendation is to get a room above the 5th floor or the palm trees can sometimes be in the way of your ocean front view. Rooms are being updated and are very nice.

Find a different place to stay

Other than location there is nothing enjoyable about this property. Had to wait an hour past check in time to even get in room. First day were told pool and hot tub due to tropical storm but it was only raining and nothing even on radar. Finally opened two hours later. Only four forks in 8 person condo. Wiped water off kitchen floor and the rag came up black from dirt. Front of drawer fell off the first time we opened it

Adequate

I was comfortable enough, but there is nothing 4- or 5-star about this unit. Beds weren't too bad, but very squeaky. Kitchen was nearly bare ... aside from a coffee maker and toaster. Very few dishes. The cable was very "iffy", pixelated at times. Hard to navigate channels. I honestly think this unit could use a good "updating".

Beautiful view

The view was amazing, could not ask for better. The location was great as well if you want to be where the entertainment is located. the beds in room 907 are horrible and very uncomfortable, so is the sofa bed. The carpet is disgusting and you have to wear shoes the whole time or your feet will be black from the nasty floor. With as much as it costs, I wouldnt think fixing the ceiling and pain would be that big of an issue either. Kinda make it looks trashy. But it was clean and everything we needed in the kitchen. Washer and dryer in the room is a plus as well.
