Located less than 15 minutes from Downtown Waco, the popular Magnolia Market and Silos, Baylor University, and many restaurants and experiences, the 140-acre Ranch offers convenient access to all the amenities the Waco and Central Texas area has to offer. The Ranch also offers an escape to a slower pace, spectacular sunsets and stary nights. Take relaxing strolls or longer hikes across the pastures or through the several wooded areas throughout the Ranch. Enjoy fishing and kayaking (no recreational lake equipment is provided) on our 15-acre private bass fishing lake, or you might prefer our 1.5-acre catfish lake, or any of our other ponds and tanks. The Ranch offers an abundance of wildlife.
Our two-bedroom, two-bath farm house is well appointed and offers a comfortable stay in a unique and relaxing environment.
The first bedroom features a King with its own adjoining bathroom, while the other bedroom has two twin beds with its own adjoining bathroom. With two separate sitting areas, a dining area and a full kitchen, the indoor living spaces are bright and offer terrific views of the Ranch.
Guests will have access to several grilling opportunities, a fire pit, Adirondack seating and BBQ area. An HEB Plus is within approximately 10 minutes if you choose to eat in.
Sit back and enjoy life at the Elm Lake Ranch.

The Ranch is perfect for flexcations, family vacations and gatherings, bridal showers, weddings and small events as well as guided experiences at additional pricing.

Another great stay!

We always enjoy coming here! We had a nice peaceful stay, spent time fishing, walking the beautiful property, and shopping in Waco. We hope to return again soon.

Great Country Getaway

Our family of four and friends enjoyed this country oasis. The property is beautiful and the fishing in the private lake was so fun! The host was exceptionally kind and very attentive, would definitely recommend this stay if you are visiting Waco.

Girls Trip

We had a wonderful time. The host was very easy to communicate with and accommodating. The home was very quiet and relaxing. While there we had the privilege to watch a group of fraternity and sorority members build their homecoming float on the home’s property and visit with the group of students. The only minor downside was that there could be a few more dishes and that is just minor.

Quiet country escape

A lovely country location to escape for a few days whilst still having access to the activities & restaurants of nearby Waco. The property is rustic but clean & tidy inside. For the w/e price point some additional kitchen utensils, towels, pots & pans would be helpful as the kitchen provisions are basic. The back deck has a great outlook and would definitely benefit from having a grill/bbq out there. Given the country setting I think a few more provisions to allow for easy home cooking would have made our stay a little easier but overall we had a great trip. Wayne the owner was very friendly and offered advice on things to do in the surrounding area, just a shame Texas couldn’t cool down a little bit to let us & our dog enjoy the outdoors a bit more ;)

Beautiful Property and Relaxing Stay

Our family had a wonderful time! The wildflowers on the property were beautiful, the fishing was good, and the farmhouse was perfect. The host and his son answered questions immediately and made sure we had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. We hope to return again soon!

Thanksgiving on the Ranch

This was the perfect location for our family holiday getaway. We were close enough to the city to hop in for restaurants but also able to escape the city pace and enjoy the quiet. Very comfortable for lounging, family meals, movies, playing games, and walks on the ranch. Wayne was very responsive before, during, and after our stay.

Perfect Location

We were in Waco for the Ironman combined with our 25th wedding anniversary. We found this property that was absolutely perfect for both! We wanted peace to rest up for the race, but not too far from all the activities. It never took us more than 20 minutes to get anywhere we wanted to go. We will definately choose to stay here in the future if we find ourselves in Waco again.
