Cruisin the Coast

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: When we first enter the room there was a overwhelming musty smell, used entire can of lysol stray to get rid of the smell.There was a dead roach in the bathtub. We would kill several roaches nightly in the kitchen.The studio could use a couple of hooks to hang up towels after they are used.We did like the fact there was gate to get in and out of the complex. Where the building was located it was far enough from the main road it was quiet.

Spring Break stay

The only thing was the microwave did not work properly but we had the stove to use. We will have to come back when the weather is nicer.

Great studio for "working from home"

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Stayed here for 2.5 weeks while doing in school at Keesler AFB. Great location, really close to base and really close to the beach. Quiet and good high speed internet for working remotely. Kitchen was really well stocked with every sort of utensil you might need. The pool was really nice as well. The only thing about this rental is that the train does go by several times a day and the tracks are right behind the unit. I personally didn't find it to be too bothersome, but it can get noisy at times. Rental company was really flexible working with me even when my schedule changed at the last minute.

Reviewer Comments: overall experience was good, however during cruising the coast friends car was towed bc Oak shores has insufficient parking, the car wasn't even there 12 hours before the HOA called for a tow truck. One downside is not all apartments are the same, some are far nicer than others. Train tracks were very annoying.

Nice and comfortable

Reviewer Comments: This unit is relatively new and nicely decorated. Great choice for one or even two person stay. Only drawback is the fact that it’s directly located near train tracks and you hear it LOUD all times throughout the night as well as shaking in the unit. However kitchen works well and is fully stocked with utensils. Bathroom was clean.

It was clean and nicely decorated. There was however a train track VERY close to the condo, as in within 60 foot of the back wall of the condo. The bed shook at night when the trains came through at least 3 times a night. It would have played a role in booking if we had of known.

Comfortable bed , supplies where available on the first day, and most of all fast internet for those that require to work from home . The staff is amazing and super friendly!
