1928 Farm House built by the House of David and boasts vintage charm is available for year-round daily or weekly rentals. Home is 2,400 square feet and has three bedrooms and two bathrooms nestled on 13 acres of farmland. The main floor offers full kitchen, dining room, living room, office, half bathroom and front porch and large deck. Second floor has three bedrooms and one bathroom. Two bedrooms have a queen bed and one has a king bed with extra seating area. Easily sleeps 6.

The home is great for a family getaway, for the bridal party or the wedding couple. It is located in the country of Benton Harbor, Michigan but is close to the areas offerings ... only a 10-minute drive to Lake Michigan, restaurants and local wineries all within 10 minutes or less. Plus, the full kitchen offer ease to cook at home or grill outside.

Charming farmhouse

We enjoyed the property. Large deck with 3 tables, flower beds, hammock and log cabin. Main floor needs to have some air-conditioning of some kind added. Thanks Brandi for showing us the "wedding barn"!

Beautiful Property

The grounds are absolutely breathtaking and the location is perfect for going to St. Joe’s and South Haven. We had to wait a few hours for check in but the owner was very apologetic when she sent us our door code. The house wasn’t clean when we arrived so our first impression wasn’t favorable. The owner did fix the problem by having it cleaned the next day. The house is old but beautiful. If I owned it, I would have the floors refinished and the bathroom remodeled. The rest of the house is lovely and has lots of character! There were a lot of people coming and going on the property so just a heads up that it’s not very private. Overall, we were happy with the location but I don’t think we would go back again.

Absolutely charming and beautiful!!

The house was clean and had all of the necessities! We all loved the setting and the farming community. The campfire was perfect as well as the deck and the porch for morning coffee. We were in love with this quirky yet breathtaking farmhouse!! If you want to go to town it is a straight shot and so many beautiful winery’s close by. Would definitely stay again!

Beautiful Property

If you are looking for a nearly updated home, this isn't your place but if you are looking for a beautiful old farmhouse with a ton of charm THIS IS IT!! The property is beautiful, our kids explored the grounds and loved searching for the farm cats. The owners made my daughters dreams come true by allowing her to hold the kittens on the daily. Although there is no central air the owners have done a great job by providing A/C units in each bedroom and fans on the main floor. Temperature was not an issue at all! The owners couldn't have been nicer and communication was excellent. We went to the beach in St Josephs and it was only a 15 minute drive, I feel like we had the best of both worlds; staying in the quiet of the farm house and the hustle and bustle of Silver Beach. We hope to make this place a yearly destination

A peaceful getaway

We loved our stay at the farmhouse. Communication with the owner was excellent. They wrote us several times to tell us about fireworks (we stayed 4th of July weekend) and other things happening in the area. We were given a tour of the venue grounds and our kids enjoyed running around outside playing hide and seek. The kitchen and bathrooms were very well stocked. The home felt spacious and the house stayed cool in the evenings with the windows open. Thanks for a great stay!

Beautiful farmhouse/property. Didn’t meet my expectations completely

The house is beautiful and the property is gorgeous and well kept. We enjoyed being outside on the porch, in the yard, and also going to the beaches nearby. The house is very old and we enjoyed the decorating a lot! It was a nice break from city life! It’s a nice area to just relax. The owners were nice quickly responded. We did have to leave a day early due to illness (and we were really hot) and I wouldn’t have minded a partial refund for that but I didn’t ask. I do have a few complaints. We were pretty hot during the day and the shower is not what I expected for the price. The house doesn’t have AC but does have stand alone units that had difficulty keeping up with the 80 degree days. The owner messaged us the day of checkin and said the dishwasher was broken and we would need to hand wash. We spent a lot of time doing dishes and again I expected a discount for such an inconvenience. Overall we had a really nice time and if the AC and shower were better I would come again. Hopefully they can fix those items because the property and house are gorgeous.

Bachelorette weekend

Five of us stayed at this wonderful old farmhouse for my sister’s bachelorette weekend. The property is beautiful and very well kept as is the house itself. It was the perfect secluded getaway and close to several wineries if that’s a reason for visiting the area.

Great stay on the farm!

Our whole family (4 adults, 2 kids, and a dog) all stayed and we all had a wonderful time. Plenty of yard and space for kids and dog to run around and explore. The farm house itself was beautiful, clean, and well maintained. It had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend away from the city. We’ll definitely be back.

Beautiful property, pictures don't do justice.

The property and house is gorgeous. Had contact with the owners and their sister and all were very accommodating. The property has a venue onsite for weddings and events if you are looking for a rustic them this is definitely your place. Property is very relaxing. House is very spacious, has history (Built in 1928) and beautiful. Has some of the original woodwork from the 1928 and decorated to a point that can take you back to that time. This house is minutes from everything you need, restaurants, shopping and beaches. We enjoyed ourselves so much we didn't want to leave. We will definitely be back for another stay.

All the comforts of home

Very delightful. Owners were very easy to communicate with. The house was spacious for our family of 4 + a dog. Our daughters (18 & 22) each had their own room. The master bedroom is very large! The property was enjoyable for our 10 month old puppy to run.

OMG

Brandy and family are great. This place is definitely a gem. We all loved how much character this home had. We enjoyed ourselves so much on the property. Spent a lot of time on deck. Enjoyed the fire pit. Sandy and family were very responsive. Hoping to make this a yearly visit. We will definitely try to get another booking and enjoy everything the house has to offer. This was nothing but relaxing. This is what you can truly say enjoying nature and forget your crazy city life.

The farm house was amazing. Very clean and comfortable.

The house and property was beautiful. The gardens were lovely and the perfect place to relax and unwind. Each bedroom was comfortable with their our air conditioning units. Overall a wonderful place to stay.

Relaxing getaway

The property and the couple running it were great to work with and they have a slice of heaven. We were fortunate enough to see the venue and it’s perfect for a wedding. My only issue was the property listed a fire pit and it was a gas box unit not a wood burning pit. Everything else was charming and relaxing.

Wonderful relaxing home

What a wonderful place with plenty of room to roam and lots of privacy. The owners were very quick to respond to any and all of our questions. The location to many activities was a plus. We would definitely stay here again.

Lovely home in beautiful surroundings

Four of us stayed here in May 2021. The house is a wonderful old farm house, and the grounds are beautiful. We didn't use this as a wedding venue, but we could see part of the setup for wedding receptions and it looks very nice. Communication with the hosts was great. The house had all the amenities we needed, with comfortable beds, TVs, WIFI, kitchen essentials etc. The house is around 100 years old and I think the hosts are still working on renovations, so anticipate that the floors and bathrooms are older. The location is perfect for visiting St. Joe/Benton Harbor, and area wineries. The grounds are really special -- lovely backyard and barn area, with outdoor seating for guests, grill, gas fire pit table, small pond, etc. We loved sitting outside and relaxing. We definitely hope to stay here again!!
