The Honeycomb Cottage is a charming, quintessential Cape Cod house centrally located in West Yarmouth and within a short driving distance of several beautiful beaches, the Cape Cod Rail Trail, and numerous attractions, restaurants, and stores. The residential neighborhood is surprisingly very quiet being right off Route 28. The house can comfortably accommodate 6-8 people. The living area and bedrooms are simply decorated to maximize space and comfort. There are two bedrooms on the first and two bedrooms on the second floor, each with its own window AC unit and closet for storage. There is a full bathroom with a shower-tub combination on the first floor; the two bedrooms upstairs share the other full bathroom with a shower. All bed linens and bath towels are provided, along with beach towels. The kitchen is fully equipped for eating in, The indoor and outdoor dining areas offer ample room for family and friends to gather rain or shine. Rolling coolers and ice packs are available for beach outings, as well. The private backyard is beautifully landscaped, peaceful, and the perfect place to relax, dine outdoors, or enjoy an evening by the fire.

Annual Family Vacation

We've been enjoying the Cape for decades and it was so nice to finally be back this year. Our group ages ranged from 9 to 93! This year we found a true gem-the Honeycomb Cottage and we all loved it. Upon arrival there were snacks waiting for us and a handwritten note as well as a beautifully written guide that helped us navigate the cottage and surrounding area. The cottage has everything we could possibly need and so well stocked with all of the necessities. Linens and towels were provided and that was one last thing we had to worry about when packing. We enjoyed sitting in the backyard surrounded by the beautifully manicured gardens and had fun playing a different board game each night. The central location was perfect; there were so many fun things to do!

Beautiful home with easy access to the entire Cape

We truly enjoyed our stay at the Honeycomb Cottage. From our initial booking to check out, our host, Karen was easy to communicate with, inviting, interested in how she could help make our stay the best it could be, and overall, just wonderful. Thank you, Karen. The home was beautifully kept. It was clean and comfortable. The attention to details cannot be overlooked or under appreciated. The house is located close to so many great places to soak in all that the Cape has to offer. Whale watching from Barnstable harbor was 15 mins away. Restaurants and night life in Hyannis was under 10 minutes away. Dennis Port, Dennis, Harwich, and Chatham ranged from 15-30 minute drives and all were worth it. Beautiful beaches with easy parking, mini golf galore, the Inflatable Water Park, the Whydah Pirate Museum, and amazing breakfast, lunch, and dinner spots abound were all within 10 minutes from the house. We loved our stay and recommend this house. We look forward to our next stay here.

Home away from home - not just for families!

Renters: 5 Adults Even prior to arriving the host was fantastic, communicating regularly, offering recommendations, and when a tropical storm hit - even the opportunity to refund a day lost. Upon arrival we felt so welcomed, as the host had left a very sweet note that got our trip off to a great start. As for our stay, it was fantastic. So much so that one of the members of our group is concerned to rent anywhere else in the future, as it might not live up to the Honeycomb Cottage. For the week we were there, it truly felt like a home. Whenever we reached for something, it was there from towels to board games, and when my fair skin burned - aloe already in the fridge. The recommendations both from the host and the previous guests (a great touch), were great. The outdoor space made it so for lazy days you could relax just in the backyard with no need to travel to a beach or so after a day out, you could sit around a fire. We found out Old Fashions pair quite well with s’mores! Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to return and would recommend to family and friends. Location: The house was centrally located and most everything was within a 15 min or less drive (with the exception of Provincetown, but access to the highway was super close, too!)

Excellent!

My adult kids and I stayed at Honeycomb Cottage and had a wonderful time! The house was immaculate and very well thought out. Every detail was taken into consideration and we could not have asked for more. We rode bikes to the beach, went on runs, had breakfast on the delightful patio and delicious meals at nearby restaurants. A very convenient location and Karen’s book of recommendations was very elaborate and helpful. Our stay was everything we imagined and more!

Great place to stay

We felt welcomed there was a basket with snacks for the kids. Everything was neat and organized. We only needed to buy food all the other items paper towels toilet paper soap was there. Beach chairs BBQ also there Highly recommend this place to stay while on the Cape

Beautiful home on the Cape!

I have rented cottages on Cape Cod for 25+ years and this one was the best hands down. It was well equipped with everything you can think of. It was sparkling clean when we checked in and the yard is perfect. The owner was so easy to work with and she's fantastic at what she does. Ex. the Keurig machine wasn't working after our 1st week and she sent a new one that arrived 1 day later. I highly recommend the property and the owner is simply the best.

Beautiful Property & Great Central Location

We were so lucky to find this beautiful home for our first visit to Cape Cod. The property worked so well for our Mother/Daughters visit. The location is quiet, private and centrally located which made it easy to see so much during our short visit. The home is spotless and outfitted with absolutely everything you could ever want. Karen is a phenomenal host and made it so easy and enjoyable for us -- even suggesting places to find a birthday cake for my daughter. I would recommend this property to anyone visiting the area.

Comfortable family gathering

The Honeycomb Cottage was a great place for our extended family of 6 adults to gather. Close to restaurants, activities and beaches. Everything we needed was in the house before we knew we needed it! Very clean and comfortable. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to go back!

Amazing Cozy Stay!

Karen’s property is absolutely amazing as is. The kitchen is well stocked, even with spices, the grill and fire pit out back are wonderful, and she even has beach supplies for you. The rooms are cute but not too kitschy, everything is very clean, and Karen is so responsive. What a great time!

Girls weekend

Our stay at the Honeycomb cottage was excellent. Karen is an excellent host! She left a lovely welcome message accompanied with bottles of wine, cheese and crackers. The house is extremely clean, the rooms are perfect size and decorated so nicely, the beds are comfortable, linen is fresh and clean. We had such a wonderful time. There are beaches and restaurants close by as well as shopping. Would 100% recommended to anyone looking for a stay at the Cape!

Perfect Cape getaway

What a place! Karen’s house had all we were looking for in a Cape rental and more. The location put the beaches, dining and activities of mid-Cape within a quick drive, and it’s the perfect jumping off spot for exploring upper and lower towns. We spent time in Dennis and Chatham, and even took a ferry to Martha’s Vineyard from Falmouth. (You can ferry from Hyannis next door as well if you’re up for more time on the water.) It’s all within easy reach. The neighborhood is nice and quiet, but also walking distance to restaurants and activities. Best of both worlds. We walked with the kids at night to get ice cream and hit the inflatable park and mini golf right up the road. There’s obviously no shortage of beaches to choose from, but we opted for one just over a mile or so down the road that’s also a good running destination. Can’t say enough about the house itself. It’s so nice, very clean and everything is organized so you somehow already know where to find everything. The front yard is a nice size for kids to run around, and the back is well-manicured and very private. Inside there’s plenty of areas for family bonding moments (puzzles on the big table, breakfast at the island), but you can also go off and have a little solo space when you need it. Finally, Karen could not have been a better host. She went out of her way to make us feel at home, and she offered lots of ideas for dining and fun. Everything was easy. Very responsive and helpful—and she threw in some nice surprises along the way. It’s obvious she put a lot of thought and effort into making this house special--and it shows. Thanks Karen, we will be back!

Home away from home at Honeycomb Cottage

We loved staying at honeycomb cottage. The property is so cute, it was really nicely decorated, and had everything you could possibly need for a great family vacation. It is so centrally located you can easily access the beach, restaurants, family activities and shops. The owner was lovely to deal with and I hope your family has as much fun at Honeycomb as we did. I would highly recommend this property and I hope to go back again soon
