A quick getaway

From the moment we selected this location, the owner patiently guided us through the process. (We had never attempted a Vrbo before.) The location was ideal, and the condo itself was sincerely "just right!" :) We even had an unexpected welcome committee right out the back door: a young black bear! From the most comfortable recliner to the soothing quiet, we appreciated our time spent. Thank you!

Fantastic!

Amy was super friendly and quick to respond to any questions I had. The condo is very conveniently located to many hikes and swim areas! The condo had everything I needed to relax after a long day of hiking. Full kitchen and two full baths made for a nice time at the end of the day. I would come here again in a heartbeat!

Wintergreen oasis

The spot was perfect for a weekend trip to snowboard on wintergreen. Not too big but still more than enough for an enjoyable weekend.

Very unprofessional host

Ck in was 4:00. At 4:45 we still had not gotten the code to get in. I called the host. She was flippant and said I forgot! The condo had not been cleaned!! We had to wipe down everything and wash sheets and towels before we could stay there!!! The host was very very rude! She said we would get full refund. We did not!! We have never had to contact the host with vrbo. Every time has always been a great experience until this time. She should be fired so no one ever again has to ruin their vacation because of her!! This condo was a perfect size for 4 adults. It was very clean and the kitchen well stocked. Would definitely book again!

Excellent condo to stay in Wintergreen! Very comfortable, clean, easy to check in . Enjoed fall leaves, fireplace . Great for families with children. Highly recommend to anybody. Great escape place to recover from fast pace of life at any season.

My Review

Please leave notes about hot water in a conspicuous spot. It was only when we were leaving that I saw them, so we had no hot water during our stay. And even then I couldn’t reach the turn-on valve. We couldn’t figure out how to get anything on the TV except Netflix. And maybe I didn’t read the description completely when I booked, but I was surprised to find only a Keurig coffeemaker. Otherwise, everything was ok.

Cozy

This property was clean and tidy. There is not very much light in the living area. Also, we were not aware that the water would be off when we arrived. There was a check in note on how to turn it on but you have to manuever behind the washing machine to turn it on. Also the hot water needed to be turned on and the breaker is located behond the entry door. The toilets are very low so if you have joint issues, you would have problems with using them.

Great location, cozy place

Loved staying here for a quick weekend getaway. Perfect size for our family of four. Close to the slopes, restaurant, playground, and hiking. Kids loved their cozy bedroom. Cozy really sums it up -- saw a beautiful sunrise through the big back doors. Can't wait to go again for longer! We loved reading notes in the kid's bedroom left from other kids. Made it a lot of fun. Beds were comfy.
