The screened patio features an all-season pool, a shaded dining area with a gas grill, a pair of loungers, and seating.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 4 vehicles.

Security camera details: This property is equipped with several exterior security cameras. All are active but none record footage. Three cameras overlook the driveway from the left, right, and center. One is located near the front door and overlooks the porch. One is on the back patio, overlooking the pool and another overlooks the back patio opposite the pool. There is also a security camera looking down each side of the home (left and right).

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Great Pool area.

The pool area and great room were set up well for socializing. This property, though, was not our first choice and the neighborhood was blah.

Issues from the start

After driving 15 hours to get to the home, the access code did not work. Sat outside for over an hour on the phone with Vacasa to try to get into the home. Finally a “local” representative called and got us access to the garage door. Someone was supposed to come reset code to front door, never did. House is in pretty good shape. Some cabinets are off the hinges, beds are very hard, no local tv. However, house is as pictured. The next problem was the pool. The filter doesn’t run most of the time so things build up on top of the water. Nowhere in my booking did it say there was an extra fee or 3 day notice needed for pool heat. Called on 2nd day in home to see what the problem was. Was informed of above. Sent copies of my rental agreement which states nothing of the pool heat. Vacasa was going to “send someone local” to turn it on. The regular pool maintenance guy came the next day to clean the pool. He turned the heat on. The heater stayed on that day, but then never worked again. Called again no action taken. Overall the house is average but service needs improvement.

Wayfarer Cape Coral

The price per night is too much for this property. The floors need to be deep cleaned. They’re very shiny which was extremely dangerous. No follow up on the messages I sent or response for issues that came up. I would look around before booking this property.
